You are genuinely right on this; in fact the ones with money like that end putting so much on the little trucks,
their little engine can no longer put up with the weight and even a re gear does little for em
Happy to see you help us out!

Exactly, its a lot of cash flashing to me when i see that kind of stuff. But as long as you can get out and have adventures, that's all that matters.

You are welcome, im glad this helps you out. I have just seen it too many times people getting carried away with branding and hype. And then people that do go with affordable lifts feel less than others or not as good because they didn't have the money to spend. But in reality, there rig is just as capable, and at the end of the day, it's about having fun, not bragging about how much money you spent.

What’s your go to affordable lift kit? I’m looking for a affordable 4-4.5” lift kit. It’s my daily and occasional Offroad.

@@JeepTrailsandBarbells 2018 JKU Sport manual trans and windows don’t want to drop a lot of money on a bare bones Jeep. Trying to go budget route. Below $1500 for lift to clear 37s.
What offset backspace is on your wife’s JKU with the 38s?

@dyakr4368 so we run a 3.5 drop bracket lift from RC it was like 500 or 600 for thr kit, then we got their fenders for 330. And inner fender liners off eBay for 60 bucks. We also had to cut back the rear wheel well pinch weld some to clear 38s.
If you are going to run 37s you will want to run a 5.13 gear with that 6 speed transmission. 4.88s are good, but 5.13s you will have much better torque. You can get the ring and pinion set with master install kits for 700, but you will need new carriers because your deck highth will be wrong for that gear with your current ratio.
The gears are not needed, but you are going to want them if you want to restore your power from the bigger tires that is. You may not notice much in 4low, but in 2 high you will notice the engine working harder.
