Does anyone experience the problem of "disappearing gold from the trading store". I sell some items and then one or two goes next the gold goes to zero. Or am I missing something or doing something wrong......or is it a bug?
Ok, so I unchecked money from all possible storages except from Vault, I've done same for shields, armors and weapons but when I move those items from Trader to Town Storage it is not in the Vault... I cannot find it anywhere BUT my global item overview tells me that those items are stored somewher. Any idea what is going on here?

I have an issue that keeps occurring, when a trader shows they are buying an item I attempt to sell the item and the screen only shows the trader selling the item he doesn't have in inventory. Basically, I cannot sell anything even though the trader is supposedly buying the items I wish to sell. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

To "restock" a trader with more money you want to sell more to: one way is to find any item that 2 of the present traders are trading, no matter if high, medium or low as long as it is the same price. That way you can basically transfer money from one trader to another one.
I’ve been using the trader to store all my gold and items since it doesn’t seem to have a capacity cap? Am I wrong or will one day I’ll find all of my things gone
I can´t find the part where he is selling? How can I sell stuff to the trader?
Hi @kysen, been following you since valheim. Love your videos, as they are full of great tips. That said, I do hope you’ll consider leaving longer pauses in between sentences. My brain needs a bit more than a split second to take in information. I get information overload when you jam up the edits. Not sure why this became a trend, but it make it hard to follow, imo.
I'm working on it 🙂 a lot of people have said the same, I just struggle to talk slower but I'm gonna keep working on it 🙂
@@Kysen one way to do it, instead of reading from a script, get a teleprompter software. it will force you to pace yourself, and after a while it will happen naturally. even if you dont record with it, just get use to reading it and learning the pacing.

@@Kysen nether do i, but i do a lot of podcasting, and early on i had a lot of "talking to fast" complaints, also had a lot of ums and silence. i discovered by using it to just read random stuff, after a couple of weeks it just became second nature, and removed alot of other things becausei had more time to correct my speach on the fly. also makes editing alot easier. i dont think you speaking to fast, but im a fast talker myself so mabye thats why it seems fine.

what does the 'Keep In Stock' toggle button do?
Your information in the "Trader GUI" chapter is incorrect. The real way to tell if he is buying or selling something is by the presence of a green arrow pointing toward you, toward them, or both. The green arrow is located on the left and/or right of the "Your Inventory" column.
Example: The smoked meat @4:55 has a green arrow pointing toward you, meaning he's selling it.
Example 2: The coats @4:52 has a green arrow pointing toward him, meaning he's buying it.
Some items can have an arrow on both sides, meaning they're willing to buy or sell that item.
When you're making a tips and tricks video, it's probably best to actual know the feature you're discussing because it's weird when you don't.
Yes that's true, but I said that if he is buying something it will appear in colour instead of greyed-out, which is true. The arrows you mention are an extra indicator, not the only indicator. I do research all of my videos before I make them but there will always be one or two things I miss or get wrong, I'm only human

Occasionally being able to exploit the two traders' wares thing is a bit disappointing. While it's realistic, it may break game balance.
In early game, it can give a huge gold boost (often you can empty one trader's 2-3000 golds), which feels underserved in my opinion. Without traders, life is quite a struggle, you may not make any money per month. Thousands of golds feels like heaven.

what is that buttom next to the "TRANSFER ITEMS" ?
Honestly I could not figure out what that does. I tested it for a while and googled but could find no info. Idk if it's something that will have a purpose in the future and doesn't atm
@@Kysen Click it on and it will keep that item stocked in the trading post at the number you set. Example: if you want ten candles at the post, the worker(s) will make sure that there are ten candles. If you buy candles from a trader, they will move candles out until it is back to ten total.
And that works for the gold amount too

Let me know if you want some really advanced tips on how to set up production, you might already know those or not. Villager AI in FF is non existent, a villager will f.ex. head to the nearest stock available of wood and carry 1 piece of wood to a remote location to build a tower f.ex., all he had to do was walk an extra 5 meters and there would be a stockyard full of wood. Unlike in f.ex. Dawn of Man villagers do not visit multiple places if these are available for maximum carry capacity.
This impacts ALL production and knowing how set up for maximum effectiveness is a game changer. It can change food supplies from 9 months to 18 ..... with just a few changes.
you could have made a killing buy the one traders pottery for 8 and sell to the other one for 11. trader 2 had 204 pottery times 3 equals 612 free gold and you talking about a one gold margin on coats?
I was just highlighting the principle for the tutorial so people know it's possible

in my first year having a trading post 1 trader brought cows, but i couldn't afford it.

How many times are you going to feel the need to say "G. U. I" instead of "GUI". It's a goo-ey. Not a "G" "U" "I". 5 videos now you do this. You can't play video games and not know the proper way to say a feature of literally every application.
I say G.U.I because its fast and easy. Gui sounds stupid
It stands for Graphical User Interface so you can definitely say G.U.I. and not "goo-ey" especially if you'd rather not sound like a child
Way too much of a troll to be helpful, so don't be surprised if all you can collect is negative comments. Even when you have a good point to make, the tone of your comments make a huge difference. Has no one pointed this out to you before? I suppose it makes sense you have no videos on your channel.
Here is another tip I learned. You can store food there when you have plenty and they don’t spoil. And when your town need more food you can send them back. It’s a great way to preserve the food. 🥘 🥬🥦🍖
