- FIRST LOOK: The LFA is one of the most iconic cars and Lexus has a followup act. On the outside of the Electrified Sport you will discover a sleek aero body, forged wheels, and LED lighting. While I'd prefer if there was a V10 ICE under the hood, I can't deny that the styling is unbelievable. That's one of the most beautiful and best-proportioned cars I've ever seen.

This caught me by surprise. Had no idea Toyota was working on a EV version of the iconic LFA. While it is a bummer we won't be seeing another V10 in it, at the very least I hope they're aiming big with this and set some benchmarks for performance EV supercars.
Aiming high: mash foot on pedal and zip forward like every other ev in the market

I've always felt that Lexus was the best car manufacturer when it comes to designing cars and lights, they never fail to impress me and make me feel like I need to get rich to own a Lexus, one day I hope.
Honestly, I think it would've been better if they would've made a more potent version of Toyota's twin-turbo V6 and added some mild hybrid system to this LFA. But it's a good thing that Lexus hasn't completely forgotten the LFA name and heritage 😌👍.

The original LFA will be known as a modern engineering achievement and the car that paid the way for Lexus' future. I strongly suspect that the same will be said for this incarnation.

I think the name and Machine Combo of LFA should rest on its own Throne and be left to go down in history as an unique legend....an Ev will not replace that great soundtrack of a v10 .Although I not a fan of Evs. This thing looks out of this world. they should just call it a unique name, a stand alone ev vehicle. too many car manufacturers make the mistake of trying to pull on nostalgia heart strings, keep it different

@@rustlee there's a legit argument that a minority of people will enjoy a change but car manufacturers shouldn't market to the minority, otherwise you end up with bad products and hurt your reputation

The biggest problem with electrification, is not the vehicles ( Although the sound of ICE will be missed greatly) it's the infrastructure. Here in the UK to say they are behind is a severe understatement, good luck getting your vehicle charged nothing better then waiting in a queue for god knows how long. I also think the public are still nervous about range of electric vehicles. Thank you Lori for your hard work.

Why the hate on it being electrified? Genuinely curious. Aren’t electric cars faster and lighter than combustion engines (on average)?
Electric vehicles accelerate faster but are heavier (because of the batteries) so not as good around corners. And on top of that you don't get to shift, you don't hear the engine or exhaust. So today Electric vehicles are still less engaging and fun. There is more to driving than 0-60 acceleration.

Yup, if they price this above 175k good luck selling a bunch of these. Will probably be another bmw i8, acura nsx dud on launch. Or they price it to compete against the Porsche but will cut back on this current design a lot.

Grey with the black top reminds me of the FD rx7 and c5 corvette body days. This body shape is a winner for sure. Lets hope it actually comes out. Very imposing and long stance.

LFA could have lived with limited run till date.
Not that I have that kind of money to buy one but looking at one in wild and in videos give me chills.
the closest I been to owning a LFA is in Gran Turismo 5 and I am so proud of it.
