The Bugatti Chiron replacement has finally been unveiled! Meet the Bugatti Tourbillon!
Mat’s flown over to France to get up close and personal with this all-new hypercar, and he’s being given a guided tour of it with Bugatti’s CEO, Mate Rimac!
So let’s check out what’s new compared to the Chiron. When it comes to the design, there are a whole lot of changes. It’s a brand-new car from the ground up, with no hints of Chiron remaining bar classic design cues such as the horseshoe grille and two-tone C-shape in the rear quarter. Around the back, there is an absolutely massive diffuser, coupled with a huge light bar that has the brand name built into the light. Along the side, the classic Chiron shape remains, while up front there are several vents, including ‘flying fenders’ which guide air under the headlights & around the side of the car.
Step inside and the design is classic Bugatti. The level of luxury is absolutely incredible, with absolutely no plastic to be found throughout. There are no visible screens anywhere, although a small screen will pop out of the dash to allow phone mirroring & the camera feed for the reversing camera. What’s more, there’s no digital driver display - the entire instrument cluster is analogue, with the gears that run fully visible. These are also framed by a gorgeous steering wheel which rotates around them. All-in-all, it looks absolutely stunning!
Then we get to the power unit. The W16 has been stripped out, and it’s been replaced with an incredible 8.3-litre naturally-aspirated V16! This is further supported by three electric motors, and they combine to produce 1,800hp and 2,300Nm! These work together to propel the Tourbillon to 62mph in less than 2 seconds, and it has a top speed of 277mph. Oh, and the V16 redlines at a fantastic 9,500rpm…
All in, the Tourbillon will come in at €3,800,000. So is it worth it? And more importantly, is it a worthy successor to the Chiron? You’ll need to stick with Mat and see for yourself!

Mate is incredible, the design of bugatti were focusing on the bugattis like mistral, centodieci and chiron, but this man changed everything when he came, mostly people liked the chiron than the other models, so a new replica of chiron and interior was changed, and new clock design for the speedometer and it was magnificent, and more importantly the V16 engine (16 pistons) made it the chiron change, that’s how this beauty tourbillon was made, mate does really know what is the feelings of bugatti lovers and in the bugatti automotive world, this man is just on a another level!
I love listening to Mate talk. It’s like talking to another car enthusiast, he’s genuinely excited to talk about it. He’s not limiting himself with corporate legalese either.
It is 10/10.
The fact it doesn't have digital screens makes it even better.

This car looks amazing! I love the lines of the body...elegant but yet it looks powerful too. Usually, those two are hard to incorporate together into an automobile.
