4:55 maybe have it so if it's in mid air it's a jump but if it's on the ground it's a bounce like the bounce bracelet or bubble shield. Sorta like the insta shield and drop dash.
With Metal Sonic that buffed up super peel out sounds cool except instead of making it have invincibility for 3 seconds upon activation why not make it that if the player manages to maintain that speed they got from using the peel out they become invincible?

The Master System version of the Game Gear games are the superior versions.
They should either have their own seperate collection, or get a full wide-screen remake should Sega ever do an Adventure Collection (afterall, the Game Gear games were unlockables in the original DX version)
They should get the patches in for Sonic Origins first before DLC happens.
But in terms of potential DLC, the most ambitious idea would be to either port over OR redo Sonic World from Sonic Jam. Knuckles' Chaotix, Sonic R, and Sonic 3D Blast would be pretty cool games to add to the collection. A physical release with a reversible cover and artbook with all the art from the Museum would be pretty cool too.
Something cool they could do is Include Knuckles’ Chaotix and some of the 8-bit Sonic Games. For the Museum I’d want them to include a BUNCH of Commercials and the OVA so it could be even more accessible.

Most of what I want could easily be added in updates (Knuckles playable in Sonic CD and more visual and gameplay options, for instance), but I really just want one thing:
Knuckles Chaotix. I know it’s not the best Sonic game, but it’s ridiculous that this game hasn’t *ever* been re-released. This is the perfect opportunity to do so. Make it happen.
What's funny is that it has been re-released *once* for the Gametap subscription service.

I feel adding Amy is a no brainer, also I wouldn't mind her being slightly slower if she got the Adventure mechanic. So in that game if you use your hammer correctly when running you can gain a little momentum. Other thing I would consider is giving us the option to use Sonic 3 controls in the other games, meaning those games would feel more fluid.
Lastly, I would very much like a Sonic Advanced collection.
I think the Advance collection is far more deserving while they maybe on the Japanese Nintendo Wii U store there are a few problems with that.
One being unless you're not in Japan you're shit out of luck
And two, and even bigger issue, the Wii U store is being closed by Nintendo, meaning these digital versions will be forever lost.
And when was the last time they had a proper all in one collection release...? Exactly! Plus the original games are not hard to find... or at least they were, before Sega started delisting them all to try and sell this unfinished mess of a collection.

We already got Flickies Island from 3D Blast, and that island from Spinball, so that's not too far-fetched.
A fully realised 2018 Sonic Chaos remake would be amazing.

Top 3 things I'd like to see as DLC:
(Alongside an actual physical copy release)
1. A playable Amy Rose, and let's maybe add Mighty and Ray as playable characters, having the same moveset from Sonic Mania.
2. Additional Genesis Sonic games, mainly Sonic 3D Blast, Sonic Spinball, and Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine. And if they want maybe Sonic R and Sonic Fighters.
3. An updated version of the museum, where it's the 3D open area from Sonic Jam, where people can still view their unlockables in addition to other archival footages and throw in some free IDW and Archie Comics for other Sonic fans that like those kind of things.
I prefer Amy reusing her Advance moveset cause she always more of a normal person in physical abilities.
Why her having a hammer is better then having super sonic speeds. But I don’t entirely hate giving some speed to her, like half or 75% of what Sonic has. Because the games were made with speed in mind.
And also, giving emphasis to her hammer feels a lot more like Amy to me anyways.
Well Knux in s3/k has about 85% of sonic speed, (same for advance 1 & Amy in Heroes). I think that could work well.

Sonic Origins Plus for me would add:
• Old commercials from the 90s into the game’s museum. This would really help make it feel like an Origins Collection to me.
• A History of Sonic the Hedgehog section in the menu, which features not only how he was conceived as a character, but footage from every game he’s appeared in, all the way back to Rad Mobile.
• More Playable Games such as Sonic Spinball, Sonic 3D Blast, and Knuckles Chaotix - although I would also settle for unlockable versions of the Game Gear and/or Master System Games. Ideally, we’d get some of the more obscure Sonic Arcade games such as SegaSonic the Hedgehog, SegaSonic Cosmo Fighter, and maybe even Sonic the Fighters for a more mainstream selection.
• Additional Playable Characters such as Mighty, Ray, Metal Sonic, and Amy - although just adding a playable Knuckles to Sonic CD would be great.
• The option to choose which Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles sprite art to use in game. Maybe I want to use the Sonic 3 sprite in Sonic 1 or vice versa.
• More Missions
• A Playable version of the Sonic Jam Hub World after 100% completing the game.
• A Playable Demo of Sonic X-Treme for the first time ever!!! Since I know this will probably never happen, I’d settle for adding some footage of it into the museum.
• A Physical Release of the Game would really be great.
• Full remakes of Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2 in full 4K 120FPS with zero changes to the core gameplay except optional quality of life improvements, and an actually functional Big the Cat campaign with fully rendered CG cutscenes bridging the two Adventure games together, and a post credits scene where Sonic turns to Tails, and says, “C’mon, Tails. Let’s go home.” Followed by a black screen, and the slow fade in of some sort of sleek new device as the words “Sonic Adventure 3” slowly appear on the screen, followed by the words “Exclusively on …” then the device comes a bit more into view, but still draped in shadow as the final part of the text appears “Sega Galaxy Home Console” then everything goes white, and the text “2024” appears as the game returns to the home menu, and then Sega releases a statement that all their IPs are going to be Galaxy exclusives moving forward, and then they announce a new Jet Grind Radio, Crazy Taxi Reboot, Shenmue IV, a new Echo the Dolphin, and NiGHTS 3

The Sonic Adventure ones would probably be it's own collection with Heroes and Maybe Shadow the Hedgehog, the first Sonic Riders would also kind of fit in there and was from the same generation of games
@@hypnospaceoutlaw3376 The final point with the Sonic Adventure Remakes and a new Sega console was definitely a joke (a joke that I would absolutely pay to have, but still). I thought I exaggerated enough to make that clear. I mean, I included Shenmue 4 and NiGHTS 3 in the Sonic Origins DLC. 🙃
@@TheRealUnkn0wn_289The idea that Sonic Heroes is the same generation of games as the Adventure games is something that only came along after Sonic Generations. I don’t know anyone who was there would holds this opinion. Calling Heroes a Dreamcast Era game is nonsense considering it was released after the DC was discontinued. Heroes was a stop-gap generation game that ran from Heroes until Sonic 06. The series was trying to find its footing as a third party franchise rather than a first party franchise on Sega’s own hardware. The Adventure games were bookends to the Dreamcast, and served as the final two installments in the classic Sonic series, which had a clear storyline that began with Sonic the Hedgehog, continued with Sonic CD, then Sonic 2, then Sonic 3, then Sonic and Knuckles, Sonic Adventure, and finally ended definitively with Sonic Adventure 2. So the Adventure games absolutely fit within an Origins collection, because Sonic’s origins spanned his first ten years, and told a cohesive story across Sega’s own console platforms. Any games that came after that were multi platform, and did not follow the same narrative through line. Shadow the Hedgehog was an attempt to retcon the powerful ending of SA2, and Sonic Heroes was the first of many bad Sonic games that only wanted to capitalize on fan favorite characters with no real regard for the continuity established in the original games. Sonic’s canonical games ended with SA2 as far as I’m concerned. I still play the new games as they come out, and I’ve even really enjoyed plenty of them. But Sonic’s actual story ended with the Dreamcast.
All that said, my final point with the Sonic Adventure remakes was definitely an exaggerated joke addition to the Origins Plus. I was not serious at all, which I thought was evident by the inclusion of a new Sega Console, Shenmue 4, and Sonic Adventure 3. Haha

At least pressing C might be a little uncomfortable but it was still done for many games on the console so using A or B for Amy shouldn’t be bad.
You hit the nail on the head with nearly everything I wanted from Origins. My only additions would be Tail's adventure and skypatrol, and let's get sonic the fighters. I'd like to see Mighty and Ray added as playable characters just because I like them. Big brain move from Sega would be to get Fang, Bark, and Bean playable too. It would've felt very full circle with a bow on top since the 30th anniversary comic featured all these characters.
Well, it looks like a Sonic Origins Plus is actually going to happen this year, so hopefully these features get added.

If i were supposed to make a dlc, i would add:

-A level editor
-1 secret extra act for each game, like hidden palace in sonic 2

It really feels like Amy was *supposed* to be there. She's so prominent in the animated cutscenes, she fits in really well with the other three, and we even get to see her kick some butt at one point. She should've been there! If they'd just add her, I'd actually buy Sonic Origins. As is, Origins doesn't have anything that I don't already have with Mega Collection and Gems Collection.
All Mega Collection and Gems Collections are is just emulated ports. I literally don't see the appeal. Also Sonic 1 and 2 on mobile are still listed. Play those instead of a collection that could have benefited from the options Sonic Jam had. Plus other stuff like Knuckles in Sonic 1 or even a flying Tails in Sonic 2. Why Sega didn't do more with those collections is beyond me.
@@HiyoriAroused It does make sense to re-release these games to make them more easily accessible to newer players, but there's no way in hell this should be priced the same as a new, full game when it's just a bare-bones rehash of games they've already made. It's an insult and a wasted opportunity.

@@HiyoriAroused I've never played it. I didn't have a Sega Saturn. Mega Collection and Gems Collection are worth it to me because they made things accessible and I found them at a decent price; hell, Gems was worth it to me just to have access to Sonic CD. The games played just fine, and there was bonus content, too.
Sonic Origins has clunky gameplay, too few options, and teased a character who we *still* don't get to play as, to the point where the advertising straight-up said "new playable characters" and had Amy's face plastered all over it.
It depends on what you want from a game compilation. If you just want to play the games you didn't have access to at a reasonable price without being basically lied to, then Mega Collection and Gems Collection *are* good compilations. If you want more than that, then they aren't.

The one think i like to see in a sonic origins plus would be that sonic 1 and 2 are using the remastered soundtrack from the mobile version (and maybe a new one for 3&k)
I would want them to add the Sonic 3D Blast Director’s Cut that Jon Burton (the former head of Traveler’s Tales) made.
Since Origins Plus was leaked, I thought I'd say what I'd want.
1. Physical release
2. Polishing up the games a bit more
3. Playable Amy and Metal Sonic
4. Playable Game Gear titles (doesn't even have to be remastered)
5. More missions
6. More unlockable rewards (I.E IDW Comics, more concept art, maybe even the Sonic OVA Movie?)
7. Special Stage Rush (Boss Rush but with every Special Stage. For 3&K it could just be 7-14 Special Stages in a row. Prolly won't happen, but would still be fun)

Hopefully SEGA doubles down with Origins Plus and ends up adding Metal Sonic and the last few Classic games that remains (Knuckles' Chaotix, 3D Blast, Sonic R, Sonic Fighters and SegaSonic the Hedgehog).
Also the way you nailed what Amy's moveset was going to be is incredible. Or perhaps SEGA watched this, which I find it even more incredible.
I would add a mode where you can have the advance sprites and graphics for people that wanna go around as modern sonic,plus you could add they're movements from that game
The idea of metal sonic using the super peel out is and having it rip through enemies is an interesting idea but that’s all put to rest when you realize that any character with the peel out can just press down to roll into a ball after using the peel out to get the same result
Unless Metal can also do it in the air for a quick dash, along with the charge-up putting him in an invulnerable state that can deal out damage for both in-air and the ground. I also figure the charge/up animation could be his electrified state from the boss fight. Another caveat could be Metal Sonic lacking a drop dash.
Hear me out here...
To fit L O R E, I want to see new campaigns for Amy and metal sonic.
For example: Amy is in all the games, as usual.. however in cd she get different paths and essentially gets the knuckles treatment from sonic 3
And for metal sonic: he’s a bad guy, the guy that rivals sonic, I want to have some sonic adventure vibes, ideally I would love mash ups of each game wherein you have harder levels (yes like sonic 4 dlc but good)... and perhaps the bosses could be rogue robots or such.
That’s would be a dream come true for me
Or for metal sonic they could just explain it as "he's been reprogrammed by tails" or something

I'll be honest. All you have to do is make Amy playable in Sonic Origins and I'd be happy. Alternatively, you could give her the "Amy Dash" from the Sonic Advance series.
in the final cutscene it shows amy destroying spikes with her hammer so maybe her ability could just be an extended insta shield that can destroy obstacles
If I were the one making Sonic Origins plus:
● Fix all of the bugs and programming issues with the core games (given).
● Make Amy Rose a playable character in the core games (given).
● Add the following games: Sonic Spinball (Genesis/Megadrive version), Sonic Triple Trouble, Sonic Drift 2, Tails' Adventure, Tails' Skypatrol, Knuckles Chaotix, and if possible, Sonic 3D Blast (Sega Saturn version (with the option to change its soundtrack for levels, bosses, and special stages between the Genesis/Megadrive version, and the original Saturn version)).
● Add a classic games era based mini encyclopedia of the franchise, featuring artwork, creators notes, and character biographies on all major and prominent characters in the franchise before Sonic Adventure (This includes the cartoons, and comics (barring of course, any and all characters created by the reviled Ken Penders)).
Amy should be played like she's played in Sonic Advance
For Sonic Origins Plus this is what I would do.
1.Make Knuckles playable in Sonic CD
2.Make Amy playable with her Sonic Advance moveset in all games they already proved it can work in romhacks.
3.Make Metal Sonic playable but pull from Sonic Robo Blast 2 with and hover in midair but you need to keep up speed or fall and a boost when running at high speed for enough time and through in your Super Peel Out idea as a why to jump straight into it.
4. And in Might and Ray from Sonic Mania with their moves sets intact.
5.Finally add in an option to due story mode with all characters.
Charge between 5 to 10 bucks and it should all be good.
I think I'd like Amy and Metal Sonic like you said and more missions, but I'd also like to see another playable character: EGGMAN. Think about it, playing as the bosses against Sonic in a sort of "villain's story". It could show an alternate path where Eggman wins! I'd also like to see some more obscure games get some spotlight in Sonic Origins. For example, maybe they could figure out a way to port SegaSonic the Hedgehog, or maybe even have a 16-bit version of the Classic Sonic levels from Generations! This is very far fetched and hard to achieve, but I don't think it would be impossible. Maybe they could even add cutscenes for games such as 3D Blast, or Knuckles' Chaotix. I'd also like to see maybe the OVA and some commercials like Terminal Apotos (the commenter below me) wanted. Maybe they could even add Sonic SatAM episodes. But I dunno man, just what I'd like to see.
I mean Amy had a TRIPLE jump in rise of lyric so it would make sense for her to have a double jump
If I made the DLC for Sonic Origins, I might add:
- Level Editor
- Sonic Spinball and Sonic 3D Blast
- A Playable Amy,
- Ray and Mighty
- Fix Bugs
- Add Knuckles to Sonic CD
- Add the MJ Music
and Sonic Origins will be 100% better and I like your Pitch for the DLC, and I hope Sega will approve your Idea and release it and also I also hope that Sega will fix the bugs and glitches in Sonic Origins and add New Classic Sonic Games to Origins
Once the game is bug free then we start work on a plus.
New playable character: Amy, personally feel like she is the only new playable character needed. Slower than the rest of the cast but not painfully slow. She will be able to have an attack button to make up for her lack of speed, using the hammer with enough momentum will launch her up great distances. Then just have sonic, tails, knuckles and Amy playable on all 4 games. She will have her own super form in Sonic 3 & knuckles once all the super emeralds are obtained
New Mode: Metal Sonic Challenge. You race a metal Sonic AI through each zone. both you and the AI can attack each other and if you damage metal enough he is ported back to the previous checkpoint. (No boss battles in this mode but available in all 4 games)
Additional games: all the game gear games, 3D blast, knuckles chaotix, mean bean machine and Sonic spinball. (Just uploading the roms for them is enough for me)
Lastly, put this all in a downloadable expansion for free for at least 1 month to boost sales. Then after that month is up they can start charging money for it maybe $10-$15.
This is just what I’d do if I was someone in charge of things in SEGA

Imagine if They Include an Extra Story for Sonic Origins Plus where you Play as Amy Rose and Sonic and with Metal Sonic as The Main Villain (Its Not gonna be Like Sonic CD) and Metal Sonic could have His own story too!
I would want the option to choose between the original Genesis soundtracks and the remastered mobile soundtracks for Sonic 1 and 2, bug fixes, and the ability to play as Knuckles in Sonic CD, Sonic and Tails in Sonic 1, and Knuckles and Tails in Sonic 1. Maybe this could all be in a future update, but as far as DLC, maybe give us Mighty and Ray, like with Sonic Mania Plus?
3:35 Related to the topic of Amy being fast in Sonic Heroes. Is it weird for me to have thought that Big was the Speed Type character in that group for at least a decade 🤣🤣
Sonic Origins Plus is releasing!
This game needs all this for it to be perfect, ya gotta add this DLC and you guys probably will since you have references to all these things ok here is the DLC countdown, Sonic 3D Blast (Saturn Version) DLC, Sonic Spinball DLC, (maybe make Tails playable?) use coins to come back at new checkpoints as additions cause the original can be pull your hair out annoying, and of course Amy playable, with her own challenge mode levels (Playable in S1 CD S2 and S3&K)
I know this seems unrealistic, but in a potential Origins Plus, I would like to see Beta Roms and Commercials

The two and a half "episode's" of Sonic 4, de-made into 16-bit like equivalents, made good, and capped off with the episode 3 that we never got, with Knuckles!
In addition to what you are recommending; they should also use some of the money they made (and will charge us for this DLC); to get the rights to use the original Sonic 3 music.

•Playable Amy and Metal Sonic (duh)
•A remastered version of Sonic R and the Director's Cut of Sonic 3D Blast.
•Choosing which character sprites you would like to use when playing the original trilogy(including Mania Sprites)
•Being able to choose which running cycle to use in every game( normal,figure 8 or Mania)
•A hub world to explore like in Sonic Jam
•A museum you can actually roam around in, like the arcade in Pacman Museum +
•Screen Filters

If I were given the unrealistic power to do anything I wished with Origins, I would remaster the game gear quadrology. And I mean a full remaster, making them have their original levels, gimmicks, enemies, bosses and story, but built in the engines of the games already included in the collection. The visuals would be made 16 Bit (tho there would be an 8 but option). They would also be actually added to Story Mode. Give them proper placements on the timeline, with cutscenes that connect them to the 16 but games.
After that, I would also love to see Knuckles' Chaotix, Sonic Spinball, Sonic Blast and 3D Blast, Sonic R... The canon classic Sonic comics... A cutscene that shows Sonic and Tails being sucked into Generations right before starting their Adventure with Mania... Please Sega retcon Classic into being past self again...
An idea I had for your Amy moveset is that the double jump isn’t just a second jump, but Infact very high.
Not so high that you can skip the level, but high enough
An example of what I mean is that you would be able to go over Robotnik in Green Hill 1 in Sonic 1 with the double jump, but just barely

(which all should be remastered and have classic modes) they also should make there be two modes you can play with, First of course is Anniversary mode which remasters the GameGear games, second would be Classic mode (and when I mean classic mode I mean classic mode, not putting the Anniversary mode to a much smaller screen.) they also should change the classic mode from the main games, they really should be the original versions. Also they should add more content to the museum. Also last but least, they should fix the bugs.

If they were to say about adding new characters, I would hope they actually follow through with it this time, because contrary to what the trailers say, there are no new playable characters in Sonic Origins. Just because they're porting over the mobile versions of the games from 9 years ago does not make Tails or Knuckles in Sonic 1 new, even though it the first time on consoles.
I mean lets say a band released an album on CD, but then a few years later re-released the album again on vinyl with new material. Then 9 years later, they re-release the album again on CD with the additional songs that were on only available on the vinyl pressing, would you call the songs new? Of course not! So again, shameless false advertising on Sega's part.

I love your ideas honestly, if I need to I will pay money for DLC for the original tracks and higher quality music for Sonic 3 as well. Me personally would like in a sonic origins+ DLC:
Amy Rose: some sort of airborne attack such as the double jump like said in the video or maybe the hammer that Amy owns being use as some sort of pogo stick like air attack that will boost her very high up in the air.
Metal Sonic: I would like Metal Sonic to have some sort of speed buff even faster than Sonic. Maybe some sort of rocket boost like in the race against him in sonic cd where maybe he can bust through spikes and enemies if he is going at max speed.
Shadow: It’s unlikely but I think shadow would make an awesome appearance in sonic origins in a DLC. I think Shadow would have an insta shield in all the games and be able to magnet rings close by to him very similar to the energy elemental shield from Sonic 3 and Knuckles.
Ideas for the DLC level and games wise: I’d really like to see more game modes just like the Mirror mode and Boss Rush modes. Like maybe a hardcore mode for players who are incredibly skilled at Sonic games. The mode would play out with 5 starter lives. You cannot get continues and there are a lot less rings in the stages there are way more enemies and bosses are way faster with there attacks as well as some new unexpected boss attacks which would really confuse the players.
I think a whole new game would be very awesome to this DLC obviously like Sonic, Sonic CD, Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 and Knuckles. I’d want it to be a 2d 16 bit game. Some ideas I have: Knuckles Chaotix would be an awesome addition and this is a quite strange idea but Sonic 4 all episodes put in to one whole game. Also reworked into the classic 16 bit style. I think this would be awesome although I know A LOT of people do not like sonic 4 I think if it were reworked into 16 bit game and all episodes were in the one game it would be a lot better.
Side note: I’d like a Boombox feature in the settings to play whatever Sonic Song you want in any act or zone. Also a option to favourite certain songs in the boombox feature so you can find all of your favourite sonic songs. I’d love a playlist feature where you can put certain songs into a playlist it might be a bit to ask for though out of a single DLC.
i haven't watched the video yet... but they should definitely add in Sonic Jam's 3D hub world, Sonic 3D Blast, Sonic Spinball, Knuckles Chaotix, SegaSonic the arcade game, the Rush & Advance games, the game gear games... all of them... even Sonic Blast & the kart racing game. then later, they should do a "Sonic 3D Origins" with 4K widescreen ports of Adventure 1 & 2, Heroes, P-06 etc... but thats pie in the sky stuff.
If i could make an sonic origins plus, i would:
Add amy, mighty, ray and metal as playable characters in all games(knuckles would be added to cd as an free update with more options, filtes, the option to play with sonic + tails and knuckles + tails in all games and some other things like the day of sonic short from jam, make an remix of the mega collection theme play in the museum and all the options from debug mode be added in an options menu). Some tweaks I'd make for Amy's and Metal's suggested moves
For Amy let her slow her descent a little bit after her double jump. It makes it more useful than the Electric Shield's double jump while being a slightly weaker version of Tails' and Knuckles' flying and gliding. Basically like how it works in Petit Hedgehog.
For Metal Sonic, remove the 3 second limit and let him always be in Maximum Overdrive mode when going at high enough speeds. Like Ray he's a character for advanced players, and maintaining a high speed isn't always easy so you'll have to be good at the game if you want to fully utilize Metal's ability. He can also destroy spikes with it which will allow for him to explore new areas, similar to Knuckles having his own exclusive routes. Of course, Metal could battle Metal Sonic 3.0 (from Rivals 2) or Mecha Sonic if he enters Stardust Speedway so he doesn't just fight himself.

I feel like it’s inevitable that the game will receive a plus expansion. I think an ideal situation would add Knuckles chaotix, spinball, and 3d blast. Also those three games already have a presence on the game itself with their respective soundtracks. Considering the demand for a physical copy is there as well, I’d say it’s more than likely going to happen.
I’d want an Encore mode, more playable characters, chaotix rebuilt on the retro engine, the actual original roms emulated for classic mode (I don’t need this, I have a trillion ways to play the originals, but I understand many classic fans want this especially after the games have been delisted), it would be cool to fave in game level transition cutscenes , more customizable options (like swap level music, sprites, and screen ratio), and going much deeper with missions (I want them to go crazy with the missions). If they added at least two of those while also supply bug fixes and adjustments for the base game. I’d be extremely happy.and would buy a physical version for sure.
Honestly I'd probably go for a similar concept to this! Along with a physical release with all the extra goodies you'd expect. Amy having a basic but unique movement option and Metal being just a buffed CD Sonic make the most sense to me. I'd also love to see Ray and Mighty thrown in too. I know they probably wouldn't have their moves utilized the best, since Ray needs very open spaces to work well (so nearly unplayable in some CD levels lmao) and Mighty really just works against spikes and other hazards. But it would still be really fun, and shouldn't be the hardest to implement since it's still the Retro Engine being used.
I'd also just want more gameplay customization. Let me use ALL of Sonic's moves in every game, different music options (I would seriously pay money to get the MJ tracks back in 3&K) or even allow me to use tracks from the museum in levels like Sonic Generations did, make every character usable in every game, and make "Classic mode" feel more like its original game, not just Anniversary mode with a smaller screen.
Extra museum bonuses would be great too. More music, old commercials and trailers, the OVA would be nice, and more concept art that we haven't seen before or isn't super well-known. They should really throw in some concept art for cancelled games, like Sonic Xtreme or Sonic Mars. I'd love for some Modern Sonic stuff too, but this is a classic collection so I wouldn't wanna muddy it with more Sonic stuff beyond the classic era. (A modern/2000s+ era Sonic collection seriously needs to happen someday though FR!!!)
As for extra games, I wouldn't bother the 8 bit games, I'd personally prefer sticking with the Genesis ones. Although full-on remakes of those titles in the Genesis style could be neat! Sonic R would be nice too but then we'd have to throw in Sonic The Fighters for the sake of it lol
I only reeeaally need to have 3D Blast, Chaotix, and Sonic Spinball all here, and remastered in widescreen. Hell, they could even take a few notes from that Director’s Cut version of Sonic 3D Blast for that game's remaster! I'd love for the Chaotix characters to be playable in the other games too. I know Charmy would be absolutely broken but it would be fun just blasting through levels with him haha. The ring gimmick probably wouldn't work well in other games so maybe just remove that when they're used outside of Chaotix I guess? But give them better spin dashes in other games to compensate, since Chaotix kinda nerfs them for some reason.
Another thing I'd love for an Origins Plus would be character skins. Nothing crazy, just maybe some basic recolors or sprite swaps for characters. Like Chaotix Knuckles or 3&K Sonic in Sonic 2. Or even throw in the Mania sprites? Shouldn't be too hard since Origins and Mania share the same engine. Maybe some more unique ones like shoe edits or hats? I know plenty of people would lose their mind if they gave Knuckles his OVA hat or something. Hell, maybe throw in a basic sprite color editor too! I'd love to see fans try bringing infamous glitched characters like Wechnia or Asura into Origins! Customization is a pretty big thing in newer Sonic games. I'd love to see them explore it for the classics!
I know SEGA's probably not gonna do any of this though, probably just a basic physical release and bare minimum improvements. But a guy can dream lol

I don't know how realistic it would be for them to add multiple fully remade games as DLC. If they remade all the Game Gear games, I see that more as it's own separate collection. What I would want to see in an Origins DLC is a fully remade widescreen Retro Engine version of Knuckle's Chaotix, it's the only 2D Genesis platformer that's missing. For extra characters, Knuckles in CD of course, and Amy with her Sonic Advance moveset. Yeah, that requires two buttons for an attack button, but I really liked how tricky and rewarding Amy's gameplay was in Advance. A girl character that actually challenges your abilities and doesn't act as an easy mode? Take notes Toadette! Plus the original Genesis controller has three buttons, so it's not like a two button moveset wouldn't be possible on the original Genesis. Aside from that, if Chaotix is going to be added as a new game, why not pull characters from that game? I don't know if they would add them all, but Espio and Vector could be a lot of fun in the other games. Charmy is just... broken... idk what you could even do with him, just let him be broken I guess? And... oh hey Mighty, there you are again! Adding Chaotix would be the perfect excuse to add Mighty to all the games! And maybe give Chaotix some new characters too? Like Ray to go with Mighty? Sonic and Tails in Chaotix? arggg, the most unrealistic thing about Chaotix being added at all is just all the character cross over that I'm not sure that Sega would even want to deal with, but it would be so big if they actually did it! Just adding the vanilla Chaotix characters gives us four extra characters already, five if they add Ray to Chaotix, and then six with Amy, that *TRIPLES* the amount of playable characters, so I think just adding Chaotix and it's characters with some extra goodies would be enough for a DLC pack
(I just realized that giving Amy a two button moveset would conflict with Chaotix's button layout if they wanted to add her to Chaotix... unless they went screw it to being faithful to the Genesis (which doesn't seem that unlikely with some other decisions in Origins) and gave Chaotix a four button control scheme. I don't know how well Amy would even play in Chaotix anyway, maybe give her a simpler moveset for Chaotix?)

In my opinion, Sonic should have interchangeable abilities like he did in Mania, where you can choose to play with the Drop Dash, Peel Out, or the Insta Shield. Heck, maybe even give the option to combine them. And maybe share that same treatment for other characters like giving Tails his Tail Swipe ability from Sonic Adventure or maybe giving Knuckles the ability to burrow.

DLC for Sonic Origins is certainly within the realm of possibility. In fact, it already exists. Haven't you heard of the Start Dash Pack, the Premium Fun Pack and the Classic DLC Pack? They add things of little to no interest to the game like a soundtrack, the ability to play each game in mirror mode without even earning it, the ability to zoom in on the islands, and the absolutely pointless (seriously--WHY?!?) option to show the animation of a character running around your playlist screen as you listen to classic music. Oh, and did I mention the pretty artwork you can see surrounding your screen in "Classic" mode? For spending five extra bucks you get it automatically (which is what I did) or you can buy it all separately for probably an even higher price.
Seriously though, we already have DLC in the form of little add-ons that tiny little things to what should honestly be a part of the base game. The overall game feels as if it is in a rushed, unfinished, buggy state, and honestly, I think we need a version 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.5, 2.0, etc. We need more bugs fixed, menus fixed, the interface in general and the games' save system (other than S3&K's) needs a facelift. We need Tails' AI fixed in Sonic 2, and proper CRT filters. We need this thing fixed before Sega goes in deep and adds a bunch of huge, major things that just add more bugs.
Until then, I think I can hold off on a new "Plus" DLC.

My idea for Amy is to have the hammer, but it propels you the opposite way and slightly upwards when you hit a wall, so you can jump from wall to wall. Also, I think another good idea would be to have different story modes, with different game, or even level orders

-add the special stage mode for Sonic 1, 2, and CD like how they did with Sonic 3&K's BlueSphere mode
-Add Mirror mode, Boss rush mode, and Classic mode to the Story mode area
-Make Amy, Ray, and Mighty playable (not metal sonic because he is an enemy created by robotnik)
-Make a Level Maker mode in the Museum and pull a Mario Maker
-and Add Sonic Spinball, Knuckle's Chaotix, and Sonic 3D blast (Both sega saturn and sega genesis version and have a little toggle button under the box art of 3D blast so Sega genesis and Sega Saturn)
-Pull a Mega Collection Plus by adding the Archie comics in the museum, there are front comic arts already in the museum, so why not archie comics?
