My mom was born in 1949, so one year older than Hu Hai. She's 75 this year but everyone thinks she's 50. She has nice skin and hair. The thing is she never had any skincare in her life. She also barely does any exercise. She also doesn't eat boring "healthy food". She eats whatever she wants. However, she does have a routine for many years. Go to bed early, wake up early, eat at the right time most of the time. Every morning she drinks one cup of Vietnamese coffee (real coffee beans, not the ones from Starbucks) which has antioxidants so it helped to make her look young
Same here, my mom too, and likes coffee. She's 70 this year. The key is don't burned your body with overworked and exercises. Just live a relaxing life.

My mom 94 now with diabetes and bp. Until 84 use to cook food. When she fell down and broke her hip she moves with walker. So after 75 just walking is enough. And after 80 be ready to go to the original destination happily.

To keep flexible every part of our body by daily body weight exercises, stretches , high speed brisk walking ( like army parade ), eating calculated foods and having 8 hours sleep daily maintains yourself young as of 25 even if you are 70 years old.
I'm 67 years old, above is my own daily schedule 😀.

I totally agree, good for you. I am making the effort to follow these steps for my own wellbeing. It requires a commitment with yourself, it is not easy at the beginning but once you form the habits your life becomes more enjoyable in all aspects.

His supplements and drinks are mainly plant based but he believes in cologin. I'm sure he eats a healthy amount of meat. As we age we need more protein. You can only get enough from meat.
@@cornstar1253 my aunt too, she is 80 now and looks and "acts" (i.e., moves like someone with very little frailness etc) like someone in the mid to end 50s. she does exercise a lot, eats a lot of meat and carbs. i think the type of diet isn't that important, as long as it contains all the nutrients, its low on bad additives and you restrict the calories. the body handles the rest, you can get insane health with eating meat, being vegetarian, or even vegan....

I like the idea of being vegan. However, as we age we need more protein then young people and it is impossible to get enough on a vegan diet. Also, the vegan diet leads to other vitamin deficiencies.
You can get away with these when you are young but it catches up with you as you age. Unfortunately, to be in optimum health us humans need meat. 😔

Hospitals, doctors offices and schools should be places where good nutrition is taught and provided not places that contribute to disease and obesity. It is crazy the hospitals are feeding people the very food that caused the heart disease, high blood pressure or cancer that they are treating. Every person in the hospital should receive some nutrition education before being released. Every doctor visit should be an opportunity to educate patients about how food choices impacts their health outcomes. The fact that doctors do not get nutrition training as part of their training makes no sense. Medicare and Medicaid should require nutrition education as part of patient care. Focus should be on food choices. Fasting should be investigated as a treatment for disease.

that's a lot of "shoulds"...realistically, and according to the powers that be, there is much less money to be made in good health, that is why it's not promoted and most would rather take a "magic pill" instead of making lifestyle changes which takes commitment and time, two qualities that are hard to come by; PS universities are funded by big pharma and have to follow the agenda of Pharma, in order to receive monies, which will not include education in nutrition

I've seen a number of young elderly people now, it all boils down to exercise, lots of fruits and vegetables and positive attitude which gives a joy for life. It's a shame that in US we associate youth with lack of gray hair and wrinkles so we dye our hair and go to plastic surgeon, while eating tons of meat and constantly complaining about everything. No wonder we die early or live long in disablity.

Pretty sure he dyes his hair as he's in his 70's. But some people start to get gray hair in their early 30s but everything else is fine. My father is 75 and he has only a few white hair. This guy has no white hair which is not natural at all for his age.

You have stated the obvious. But the brainwashing runs deep through many generations. Thankfully, many people have been awakening to the Truth.
That seems like a defeatist mindset, which is what Hu Hi advocates doing the opposite of. There's no proof that Hu Hi's family genetically ages slower. I've yet to meet someone in his shape at his age who just ages slowly. They live properly, showing that this level of health is attainable to the masses.

Fasting is the secret. Everything makes you suffer (not too much) slows your age and probably reverses it. During "sufference" your body repairs himself. That's the secret (of course be active is very important. Sport, exercises...). Fasting, extreme cold or hot. Your body must think that is dying....

He got good genetics that's all. My mom still looks like 50s but she is 70, most of her hair still black and plenty. Never dyed. I'm the oldest brother probably takes her genetics and always mistaken as the youngest. The key is, don't burned your body fast. Over worked, over exercise, stress is bad. Try to sleep 8 hours a day, minimum and don't eat fats.
