I purchased the same Cherry keyboard & mouse model. I am happy with it. As claimed, the battery life is exceptional. The keyboard key feel is very tactile, and I like it over most of the Logitech and Microsoft branded keyboards I purchased in the past. One person asked about the receiver. There is one reciever for both keyboard and mouse and yes, it's cherry red in color. You need no software out of the box but the downloadable Cherry software just allows you to program certain features so you can customize their functionality. As mentioned, it's a good keyboard for those who have to type a lot. I like most left-handed people must adapt to a right-handed world and found no issues using the mouse with the extra two functions buttons on the right side of the mouse.
Definitely interested in entering! This keyboard makes my blue switch mechanical keyboard sound like atomic bombs going off xD. I am also a programmer, might pick this up anyway! Awesome content as always man
I bought one and.. Am I disappointed or am I disappointed. The keys are sticky and not a good experience when you type for long hours. The Cougar 200K or Gigabyte Force K7 are waaaaayyyyy better.
The software is just for mapping certain keys on the keyboard and buttons on the mouse. You can just plug and play if you want. I have the tkl version of this, without the mouse (I already have a mouse).
I hate those mechanical 250€ keyboard with puke lighting and +50 extra buttons. This keyboard is almost perfect. I wish they would have left out those buttons up top there and made is a little smaller
Yeah nevermind I have to update my initial review, the keyboard sucks. It does not always register a button push and sometimes copy´s the same button input 3x 4x 5x times for whatever reason.

Is it true that there is only one receiver for both Keyboard and Mouse?
PS: Nice review :)
That is correct :) and thank you

What do you mean it needs softwear? Wont the keyboard work if you just plug in the USB receiver and turn it on?

Maybe look into the Cherry DW 9100 slim. It is more expensive though; in Germany you can pick it up for about 75€
@@EsIsJaNichtsMehrFrei This looks like a nice Keyboard, thanks.
There is a tkl version.
