Why do people hate numpads now? It's so frustrating to see all these well made keyboards that I won't touch because for some reason Less Functionality = Better
More mouse space and less space between your keyboard hand and mouse hand. It's more comfortable like that for some people. But I'd rather have a number pad myself
Because most people don't use a numpad outside of Excel, and most people have no reason to ever use Excel. It's also worse ergonomically, as it forces your mouse hand to the right. But if you're that butt hurt about it, they have the Keychron Q6 Max which is full size and they also have the Q0 Max, which is a separate num pad you can move out of the way when you aren't using it.
There's no reason to have a numpad unless you have a reason for it. For instance, I never use one but I do have a keyboard for one when I used to do a lot of data entry.
I refuse to give up my number pads. You don't realize how useful they are until you're spending hours typing in numerical data collected from the scribbles of your peers.
@@insertnamehere4419 people who only need the occasional number. if I'm in an Excel sheet, I'm glued to that number pad; trying to do everything with the number row would just be an exercise in madness.
@@insertnamehere4419 for people typing mostly text and only occasionally need to type a digit. If you're inputting a lot of numbers over the course of a day, no num pad equals working way slower
@@holdenhodgdon3756 haha i just purchased the QK Neo80. I also got a couple GMK67’s just to play around and mess with a cheap board so i don’t feel bad messing up
I don't always agree with your takes but you and your editor do an amazing job putting these videos together. The amount of work put in, with referencing your other videos, is truly impressive. Great job on this one.
I love your “preference disclaimer” I have wanted a Gmmk pro for a couple years finally purchased it despite all the negative feedback, I did a tape mod… too poppy so I undid it, added blue samurai double shot PBT keycaps and I love it! Space bar stabiliser needed some more lube and now I looove it! It Thocks!!
The main issue with the GMMK Pro isn't thats its just bad, it can be made better, but that its "bad" for the price, it is overly expensive and many cheaper keyboards get much better sound out for a much cheaper price
i bought the womier sk71 based on your recommendation and its been great. something that really surprised me about this keyboard is just how solid the wireless 2.4gh performance is. the battery life goes over a week without needing a charge (at least in my experience using it with gaming) and the wireless performance has no complaints from me.
@@voltiolord57123 the latency on this keyboard feels fine. ive never used a super low latency keyboard but i have used some pretty high ones so i would say that this is standard. i do game with it and its been pretty perfect since i got it
4:38 geniunely the only group buy id ever consider is a wood board like this. These things always look insanely good. If i ever wim the lottery, and i want to splurge on something luxury itd have to he something like that
@@noiJadisCailleachlook there is some shit that like i understand calling bullshit on, but like "i would love to buy a hand made wooden keyboard if i had the money" is not one id oersonally consider.
I'm a numpad person too, but at this point what I don't understand is how there are not more companies banking of the 20% form factor and adding it as a complementert option for 65% to TKL forms
Thanks! Trying to put together my first keyboard. Your descriptions are clear and relatively simple. I still have way too many choices but I’m narrowing down now. 😊
Hipyo! glad we found you, my kids and I have been watching non-stop and having fun exploring keyboards together for a couple months now - checking out a bunch of the budget boards and messing with various switches and keycaps, been a great thing for us to do together. so far, we've got 4 boards going including the lego board, with another on the way (hopefully, it's a kickstarter thing)
New budget king: Ajazz AK820. $50-60 bucks, fully built, sounds amazing right out of the box. I highly recommend. Another budget aluminum diy is the Leobog Hi75 that needs no mods. It's truly mind blowing what is coming out now for these low prices. When I started in the hobby, buying an RK61 for $50 was the budget go-to, but it was all plastic with no foams and required heavily modding it before it was any good. I love what's happening right now in the hobby!!
The only thing I learn from these videos is that buying custom keyboards is exhausting and my 8 year old razer gaming keyboard might not sound as good but works well enough that I won't replace it until it dies.
There is no flagship keyboard on the market that has hot swappable switches, full size, multimedia keys, a volume roller or knob and all that under 200 dollar. That would be my dream keyboard. Something like a Razer Huntsman just in a hot swappable version.
Howdy Hey. So glad I started my keyboard modding journey in 2023 .. discovering your channel was definitely a highlight! Wishing you a lot of success this year!
It'll be interesting to see how HE switches develop. The gateron Jades are supposed to have tighter tolerances and close off the bottom portion so the magnet isn't exposed.
I've been really into building clacky boards lately, but I still absolutely love deep, foamy boards. I love having the option to choose a no foam build, full foam, or everything in between on a daily basis. I'm pretty excited to get in on the WS Freya group buy. I assume you'll do a review of it at some point? If you do, sound tests with and without foams would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the videos, buddy!
I love my modded ROG Azoth. I used lubed and filmed Morandis, some Keychron DS PBT keycaps, replaced the steel plate and silicone plate "foam" with a PC plate and poron/ipxe PCB and plate foams from AliExpress. I also added two layers of painters tape and removed the thick silicone filler inside the case. Some people won't understand doing so much to a "gamer" board instead of just buying a better board, but I have a 1 of 1 Azoth that sounds and feels exactly how I want it to, and I wouldn't trade it for any other keeb.
Does the PCB on this Asus board have Hotswap capability for putting your own switches in? (I saw an Amazon review with someone who put some Gateron switches on it....but he never mentioned if he took the whole thing apart and desoldered the spacebar and modifier key switches and then resoldered the new Gate yellow switches)
@@phlooke Yup yup, it's a hot swap PCB. You can even use pcb-mount stabs if you want, but the stock ones are hella smooth already, even without any tuning.
I'm a librarian who has only BARELY entered this world, and your vids have been very therapeutic for me. I love thocky sounds, but definitely resort to silent (due to, y'know, library). Excited to get into more of these and experimenting with silent boards that match my aesthetic.
Keychron have seriously stepped up their game with the Q Max series. I got the Q2 Max. The only issue I had was key chatter on the spacebar which I fixed with a heavier switch.
Can confirm the Womier SK71 is the best. You get 300$ keyboard sound at a 89$ price point. The aluminum build with keycaps and pre-lubed switches is just an extra.
[[READ IF FROM THE EU]] I bought a Zoom 75 a month ago after watching your video about it. I was lucky enough to get my hands on one of the last white standard edition cases (the special edition are just gone from stock sadly) and I built it following your recommendation, which means Morandis. It was my first custom keyboard and building it took me like 6 hours and I didn't even lube the switches. I will some day, but not for now. It sounds amazing and all of the trial and error in the building process was kinda fun (once I managed to fix everything I had done wrong like screwing the stabs too tight, like my spacebar wouldn't come up at all). I'm not gonna lie though, if you live in the US the shipping and import taxes might be lower, but I live in Italy and I had to import the keyboard from China and the lubing kit from Kinetic Labs from the US since in EU we have legit no custom keyboard market; it was expensive, like capslock expensive. The build is fire, but it cost me a net of a little more of 500, give or take. In case someone from the EU is here reading this comment, be aware of the import fees. You won't pay just the vat, you'll pay a huge shipping fee and a customs fee for the import procedure (which is literally just one eMail). If you find a good barebone try and get everything you need shipped in one order or two at max. e.g. the Morandi are sold by Wuque and Meletrix is Wuque, but they are not in stock on their website and I had to buy them directly from Wuque which sucks since it's a completely separate order and shipping fee. It's all fun and games until a 60 euros order turns into 110 euros after shipping and customs fees ahahah (laughing the pain away). All considered tho, I'd do it again. The zoom is simply great and yh for 500 there is waaay better stuff out there, but that 500 would be a 800 after shipping it to my doorstep so I'm pretty satisfied.
@@KyleSu-wr8ot as I mentioned, Morandi. They’re from Wuque and are sometimes in stock on Meletrix’s website too (since Meletrix is owned by Wuque Studio)
Here's what I'm looking for. Where to get it? 1. Full-size keyboard with RGB. 2. As silent as possible. 3. Tactile & Hot-swap switches. 4. Shine-through keys. 5. Zero bounce/flex.
I dont think many manufacturers sell prebuilt keyboards with silent tactile switches. It would be better to just buy a barebones full size keyboard and buy your own silent tactile switches (boba u4, haimu whisper silent tactile, etc.), then slap your own keycaps on.
The GMMK 2 Fullsize with your own switches and caps. It's a 96% board but it has absolutely no flex in it. As Billy said, nobody's making a keyboard with those specs prebuilt.
I wasn't expecting a pre-build to my exact standards. heh Just curious if you were going to build, what parts would you go with... and where is the best place to get them?@@Billy_The_Frog
While I do on my work PC I also like it on my main PC because I have gotten used to using the enter key with my mouse hand sometimes when typing something with 1 hand while gaming
Got the Womier last year for less than 100 australian dollars and love it, I come from laptop keyboards so I prefer low profile ones but this one turned out to be a great one.
@@mudawott Aliexpress, Womier S-K71 if you type that you should find it, I see it now at $128 aussie dollars, honestly the keyboard is really good, switches feel nice, you can use it wirelessly or with cable and the quality feels good too, also the color options look nice, I got the purple one and I'm super happy with it.
I bought the DingRat Malthus 65 based on your recommendation and its been great. Something that really surprised me about this keyboard is just how gloppy the nekko foam is! The battery life goes over a month without needing a charge (at least in my experience using it for playing Vietnamese dog simulators) and the trackball performance has no complaints from me.
This man saved his money. Bought 5 keyboards every month. And made a video to tell us which one is the best. we need more videos like this for almost every product. also feel like some companies will go out of business
I really want to get into this hobby, but finding a *deep breath* German ISO 100% Layout mechanical keyboard with tactile switches is kind of hard. Keychron was the only one in stock, so I ordered one of those.... and some tape. We'll see how it develops from here on.
1. Gaming keyboards ARE overpriced. 2. If you compare his key caps to similar sets, the prices aren’t the worst. UA-camrs are not obligated to make merch affordable especially when they would have to give up some quality.
Thnx to Hipyo I got a Monsgeek m1(w). With tape mod (2 layers electrical), force break mod, and fixing the golden parts on the sides with a little tape, this thing feels and sounds sooooo good. I also used the other included (black) stabilizers. It's my first custom keyboard, but I know I will use this for a long long time. Everytime I use it I'm surprised by how good it feels and sounds. It's like I use it for the first time. No ragrets, thnx Hipyo!
I built a Monsgeek M5 barebones recently and they even include the force break "stickers" in the box at this point. I'm really enjoying it as my first build after previously only getting "gaming" keyboards. Was very easy to build for my first time and sounds great.
Honestly I bought the TH80 prokit, that is just plate and case, the idea is combine this keyboard with the switches epomaker sea salt silent, and finally the GMK Norse keycaps, maybe I spend too much but I think the result will be fantastic and a possible really good keyboard. Epomaker TH80 pro kit: $65 Epomaker Sea Salt Silent switches 3x$17 pack of 35: $51 GMK Sea Warrior NORSE keycaps from Etsy: $69 (The original from GMK is like $160) Total: $185 Do youi think it was a good purchase?
I recently got into keyboards after getting my first non super gamer one and hearing/feeling the luxury ride of customs… Sigh.. so here I am now diving deep into another money pit and binge watching your channel. Good stuff. **”wooohoo yeaaaah”
19:40 dude when I switched from being a laptop main to a desktop main I actually gave into the hype that was all around gaming keyboards… and for $200, I really couldn’t have been more disappointed. I specifically looked for something that wouldn’t feel like a $20 Dell office keyboard, and sure enough, it feels just like the junk your high school bought in bulk for the computer lab. The unnecessary key travel, the keycap wobbling, the spacebar that sounds like it could launch into space with that *ping!*. I’d rather rip off the bottom half of my old dead laptop for the membrane butterfly keys instead of this god-awful thing that sounds like the one obnoxious kid in your 7th grade class that wouldn’t stop drumming with empty plastic water bottles. I genuinely am self conscious any time I hit the spacebar. I look back to see if my family’s looking at me, I can tell they’re trying to ignore me by the concentrated looks on their faces. I feel so sorry for them. Mechanical keyboards are a disgrace to anybody who doesn’t live alone
I bought a Redragon K530 Pro to start off. It was fine, but I wanted more customization for keymapping so I bought a Keychron K12 Pro for the QMK support. Replaced the guts with some YDMK Blank Milk Fog keycaps and some LTC Jerrzi Similar Red switches. Simple but a lot of fun and very pretty.
I got a Keychron a while back as my first mechanical. Love it. I'm prepping now for my first fully custom, weird form factor, solder-it-and-figure-out-which-thumb-is-shift kinda keyboard. Looking forward to it!
In the market for a keyboard, thought I'd youtube it a bit. Came across this video, feel like I'm in way over my head now. Then notice that your keyboard channel has almost 1M subs ... the world has gone mad! Literally blown my mind
I hope this gets a reply but please can you tell me why you like mechanical keyboards over the slimmer keys one? Ain't mechanical more noise and more clunky leading to more slowness and less accuracy? Why do people love mechanical? Isn't it going backwards to typewriter days?
Heyo Hipyo, after about a week of spamming most if not all of your videos, among others, ive delved deep into the rabbit hole of custom keyboards, and the new magnetic switches...after wayyyyyyy too much research ive landed on and ordered the Boog75...basically the Zoom75 but with magnetic switches and capability. This is looking like my holy grail of keyboards with the ability to swap the switches out down the road with updated magnetic switches. Thank you sir for your videos and help, without you I would have ordered another dogwater "gaming" keyboard
Rapid trigger is actually very, very good for gaming, especially FPS or any really competitive game where releasing your switch faster gives you an advantage. No other company is close to Wooting when it comes to that, as of 2024.
In 2024 I pray manufacturers start to move away from so much emphasis on foam. I don't want to see everyone cheap out on the case because they can include 5 pieces of different foam and know it will sound good enough with all that dampener. Takes away so much character in the sound of the board and the switches.
Just got some Morandi switches and they made my budget keyboard sound SO GOOD. I lubed them for just a bit more smoothness (and because I had covid and was bored) but they really didn't need them)
Steer clear of the BlackWidow V4 X. After only a few months my A and D keys are not functioning properly. A seems to not register every key press and sometimes doesn't register at all. The D key double-types as well as the space bar. Currently typing on my 8 year old Blackwidow V1 as I can't put up with the issues the V4 X has. Going to switch to Ducky and hopefully never look back.
hey good people, complete noob here looking for some advice. I recently got a small lot of custom keyboard parts including a few sets of switches and wanted to ask which are good and which to avoid (I know it's subjective, but would appreciate any info you can share): - Divinikey (black base and cream color switch). I couldn't find the exact model - TTC gold pink v2 - Zkeebs C3 equalz TKC banana split - TTC speed silver v2 Thank you in advance for any help :D
I wish I didn't watch this video. I was dead set on buying a Wooting 60HE. And now I'm just not sure anymore, with all these great choices. If anything, I now want a Zoom75. But the prices here in Sweden, barebone, is like $295. Damnit.. All I wanted was a keyboard that sounds and feel nice.
A thocking Hall effect keyboard is what I’ll be waiting for this year. Even better if it matches the dark Fractal North pc case with its wood and brass accents.
Swapped out my £150 corsair that iv been using for the past 4 years (red switches) for a keychron k8 pro with browns and was only £74 with shipping! Blows the corsair one out of the water!
Depending on your printers height capabilities, printing it vertically from one side(left/right) to the other would provide more reasonable and higher quality product.
Thoughts on the Boog 75? I am thinking of getting it as a pre-order, but cant decide. I want a low latency keyboard for FPS's and such and love the look of the rainy 75. The white Boog looks like god sent, do you think it would be worth the price?
I own three Keychron keyboards, and I loved them when I bought them. The stock keycaps, however, just do not seem built to last. My Keychron keycaps are fracturing on the bottom, and since the keyboards are out of warranty, Keychron wants me to pay $8 shipping whenever I need a keycap replaced. They will only send me individual keys rather than a full set, even though it's patently obvious that there had to be some kind of manufacturing issue with my model (K8 Pro), since lots of people on the internet are having the same issue. I would hesitate before buying from this company, to be quite honest.
Hi Hipyo, I just bought the womier SK71 and I love it ! The sound is fcking amazing I wasn't expecting this. The only pb I have is that it doesn't have the F1-F12 row and I kinda need it. Do you know any keyboard that is exactly as amazing but 75% ? Thank you for everything you do, your work is very useful to all of us hipyo followers :D
Hi ! Actually I did, the leobog Hi-8 (or Hi-75 if you don't mind not having wireless) is quite great. I took switches from the womier since they are not sold in the market and the sound stock is very good
I've been really bummed with my Womier SK-71. The feel and look of the keyboard is fantastic, BUT the bluetooth and custom key assignments/software stopped working within a month of my purchase. I contacted support and they kinda just shrugged about it. Really frustrating! I'm saving my pennies now to buy a different keyboard, but I'll have a hard time not just sticking to Keychron and trusting the better support and quality control.
So, I'm relatively new to mechanical keyboards but I've recently become obsessed with finding my perfect keyboard for a decent price. Now, my perfect keyboard is nearly impossible to get because I require a knob and would highly prefer full size and passthrough as well. Anyway, last year I got two wireless keyboards used/like new from amazon, an RK96 and a Redragon Horus K618, because I had no idea how I'd feel about them. Well I'm not a huge fan of the Redragon which kind of surprised me but I'm curious if you'd tried any version of the RK96 because I kinda love mine. It is however missing a few things I'd really like in a keyboard and I'm pretty sure they solved all of those concerns and then some with the RK S98. I actually had someone on a call tell me my keyboard sounded musical so you can imagine how proud I was. Great video, thank you!
On your quest to try more keyboards I'd love to see you try the Womier S-K75. You can get a barebones kit for $49 and considering the transparent build I feel like you could do some cool things with it.
The fingering in this video is driving me crazy. "Y" with the left hand? Index and thumb only in the right hand? Try a split columnar keyboard to retrain. The ErgoDox EZ and Dygma Defy are in stock and hot swappable.
I have tried over 50 years of life so you don't have to. I've learned that people are easy to influence(r) so I form my own opinions based on own experiences.
Keychron's Q14 (white) is now my daily driver, but it was a pain in the ass to find a good set of keycaps (I went with Akko Black on White) and I do keep my RK100 plugged in because Alice layouts are not Gaming friendly.
Have you tried any of the Corsair products? I've been a Corsair fan but honestly, they kind of suck. The software is terrible and I don't think it's the best choice anymore since watching a few of your vids. I would love to see a 2024 wireless keyboard review with some options (With num pad as I use it for work and play). Great reviews! Love the channel!
A few things to get a quiet keyboard: get one with a metal case, aluminum is good, zinc alloy is better because the denser zinc will hold the board still and prevent the plastic case rattle and the denser metal will not produce metallic sounds as you type, but a properly foam insulated aluminum case will be very effective at reducing noise. Use silent red linear switches. Apply a set of silicone o rings to your key caps. Get ABS key caps. Make sure your switches are lubed, either from the factory, or diy. Lubing switches is tedious, but it's a do once, cry once thing. Make sure whatever board you get has hot swappable switches.
@@SaltyPirate71 damn boy this is way outta my league but appreciate the detailed post. I just want a normal TKL keyboard that doesn’t sound clickyclacky
I ended up going with the dustsilver because I loved the colors and the sound from your video. It was definitely a tie between that and the Womier, which'll likely be my next purchase.
An impressive amount of work. Do you have a recommendation for an inexpensive Linux-compatible wireless keyboard? Trying to stay at $75 or less. Not a gaming rig (obviously), more for hobby and light use as a side-computer. Any thoughts?
2 questions: 1: Why is it that all the keyboards on your channel are the little baby keyboards without full edit and num pad area? 2: Where can I get that one with the pretty colored lights up top in adult-size?
I bought a $23 60% keyboard on AliExpress, and in my ears it sounds like your favourite keyboard. But then, I only bought it to remind myself that I don't EVER want a mechanical keyboard again (yes, I grew up with both the Apple II+ clonky keys and the original IBM model M). My favourite right now is the Logitech MX Business, despite it weighing a TON. I'd love it even more if it was a TKL, because I've never used the numeric keypad in anything other than MS Flight Simulator. Also, if Logitech would make a M575 trackball with the silent tactile switches of the M590 mouse, that would be perfect. I had one of my old (13-14 years or so) wired trackballs go silent after a cleaning accident, but I never found out how. Also, the feedback disappeared, which is not really what I wanted.
feel like i have to correct you here, the neo boards are not group buy. they are all in stock currently, however they ship out in batches rather than each individual board sold so it may take a week or 2 longer than keychron to ship. considering the neo65 is $105, i feel it's superior to the keychron q barebones in every way unless you want a specific layout or really want it 1 week earlier. plus you can choose color and plate for the neo, but you have to pay more for different plates with keychron
My gf got the Dustsilver Lilac 75 after showing her your video, fun fact they updated the awful gamery font! It now has the same font as the 60% version. I got myself the kit Adam base kit and built it with the iqunix moonstone turbo switches and swapped the sprigns out for 100g Sprit springs and I'm absolutely loving it! Cant wait to customize the case with some lego pieces! Thanks for the discount code BTW!
I’m about to spend so much money on keyboards, I just got my first one (Keychron K12) and now I know for certain that this is gonna get expensive. WE AINT MAKING IT OUT THE BANK WITH THIS ONE 🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥
I just purchased Razer Blackwidow V4 75% and I love it. I've always preferred membrane keyboards and have enjoyed Corsair membranes. But, after having to test the Blackwidow at Micro Center, it felt so good. I instantly like how the orange switches feel and I never did like mechanicals before this. It's just too loud and too clicky for my liking, and especially the gaming habits I have. It's not competitive gaming, usually RPG's and single player games. I'm so impressed with Blackwidow V4 75%. It's all that I need in a keyboard. But, it's very expensive for a keyboard as with all Razer peripherals. But, I think it's worth the price.

Do the cheaper keyboards have keylogger inside?
Space is a premium for me and I rarely use them in the day to day. So yeah they be gone
There's no reason to have a numpad unless you have a reason for it. For instance, I never use one but I do have a keyboard for one when I used to do a lot of data entry.
@@Roanoaknumbpads are far superior to top row.
I refuse to give up my number pads. You don't realize how useful they are until you're spending hours typing in numerical data collected from the scribbles of your peers.

So far people that have gotten them say they get rid of many of the crap sounds other HE switches have. Next to try are the Geon HE coming soon.
i have lekker 60, geonworks raptor HE, and jades i must say the jades are much better than both of those options
I've been really into building clacky boards lately, but I still absolutely love deep, foamy boards. I love having the option to choose a no foam build, full foam, or everything in between on a daily basis. I'm pretty excited to get in on the WS Freya group buy.

[[READ IF FROM THE EU]]
I bought a Zoom 75 a month ago after watching your video about it.
What switches did you buy with your zoom 75?
@@KyleSu-wr8ot as I mentioned, Morandi. They’re from Wuque and are sometimes in stock on Meletrix’s website too (since Meletrix is owned by Wuque Studio)
I don't understand how people can use a keyboard with no numpad.. like what do you do when you need to fly a plane or a jet, I really don't get it.

I really want to get into this hobby, but finding a *deep breath* German ISO 100% Layout mechanical keyboard with tactile switches is kind of hard. Keychron was the only one in stock, so I ordered one of those.... and some tape. We'll see how it develops from here on.
"Gaming keyboards are overpriced" from the same guy who will sell you keycaps for 70$+ LMAO
Yeah but at least the keycaps he’s selling are of decent quality… unlike the majority of “gaming” keyboards😂

The problem with all those custom keyboards, they make noise... I really need a keyboard that is silent as much as possible and have custom keys...

8:36 Damn what keyboard is that? I need something simple, but with the side numpad! Also like the keypads!
Hi! Totally curious if you ever found a keyboard like this. I was rewatching this video looking for the exact same thing!
Hi ! Actually I did, the leobog Hi-8 (or Hi-75 if you don't mind not having wireless) is quite great. I took switches from the womier since they are not sold in the market and the sound stock is very good
I have a low profile, 75% keychron blue (K3 PRO) and absolutely love it! It replaced my full size keyboard and I never looked back
Choice is limited when you want non english-us layouts. Keychron got me covered. Love my q3 + q0 combo , although now i wish i had just bought the q5.
Are the akko v3 cream yellow switches good for a thocky build? Btw you are the best keyboard UA-camr hipyo and I hope you get to 1 mil!!
It is so depressing watching these as a Canadian - our prices are practically double.
I just bought a true budget mech for $19. Threw the MageGee Portable 60% into the ol Amazon cart and that's that.
I've got a vid on their newest board
"the software is terrible" what magic requirements do you have :D unreal people
I seriously hate how difficult it is to buy a quiet keyboard. Mechanical keyboards are gross. Hate the noise… what can I buy

I ended up going with the dustsilver because I loved the colors and the sound from your video. It was definitely a tie between that and the Womier, which'll likely be my next purchase.
Great video, but i wish you had recommendations in more layouts.
An impressive amount of work. Do you have a recommendation for an inexpensive Linux-compatible wireless keyboard? Trying to stay at $75 or less. Not a gaming rig (obviously), more for hobby and light use as a side-computer. Any thoughts?
2 questions:
1: Why is it that all the keyboards on your channel are the little baby keyboards without full edit and num pad area?
2: Where can I get that one with the pretty colored lights up top in adult-size?
I want a quiet keyboard with RGB lights and macro keys on the left. Basically the Razer Anansi needs to come back.
I was in th process of scrolling like a madman through tons listings and reviews to buy myself a new keeb. Thanks for the time saver :)
feel like i have to correct you here, the neo boards are not group buy. they are all in stock currently, however they ship out in batches rather than each individual board sold so it may take a week or 2 longer than keychron to ship. considering the neo65 is $105, i feel it's superior to the keychron q barebones in every way unless you want a specific layout or really want it 1 week earlier. plus you can choose color and plate for the neo, but you have to pay more for different plates with keychron
I was looking at some of their delivery estimates on their timeline and It's quite a while for some of the newer "batches"
I've tried alot of keyboards and I can safely say, the cheap standard dell keyboard that came with the PC is one of the best.
Always a good day when HipyoTech uploads
Yup
