I got the mini with linear red switches. I am really liking mine, but it took a bit of getting used to because of how little force is required to actuate a key press. I haven't had very good wireless keyboards in the past, so I really wanted this keyboard. I like the fn lock, which is important to me because I use the function keys as function keys more than I want to use the shortcuts. This is the perfect keyboard for me.
I have the same pair, office job 9-5. Since the launch date these have been my daily drivers. I'm using the full sized keyboard as I'm using num-pad a lot. Given that I write thousands of emails/month it's awesome. MX Master mouse - best mouse ever. I'm having a large palm and it's one of the most comfortable mouse I have used since now. I really like the looks of both on my desk, clean and sexy 😊

I just picked up an MX Keys Mini + MX Master 3S, as well as the Dell premier 7321W wireless kb and mouse. I wanted to see which I liked more and will send one back. Unless you need mac functionality, I would highly recommend the Dell personally. First of all, the mouse and keyboard bind to the same dongle so you can switch the whole set with just a single button. The MX Master 3 requires you to flip the mouse over and press a button to switch host PCs and even if you use it with the MX keys you still have to switch them separately, which I personally find very annoying. The Dell allows switching with only a single button and swaps the mouse and KB simultaneously so you never have your mouse on PC1 and KB on PC2 which can be very annoying. PLUS, and this is a big one though, is the Dell set is like $120 cheaper than buying an MX Master 3S with a MX Keys or MX Mechanical. The Dell function keys are windows specific (this won't be a plus for everyone but it is for me). The keys are a bit bigger and more spaced out so if you're prone to fat fingering, you'll get less of that. It's quiet. It's full size yet minimal. High quality. No board flex. I could keep going. But Dell beat out Logi here by a mile for less than half the price. I picked my set up on Dell.com for $87.99. The full size MX keys is $120 (and the MX mechanical is $150)!, and the MX Master 3S is $100. If you're willing to spend $250+ on a mouse and keyboard set, at least order both the Dell and Logi options and see which one you like more. You might save yourself quite a bit of money if you like the Dell. I think I will keep the MX Master 3S because it does have a more premium feel and more features than the Dell mouse, but the MX Keys is definitely going back. Again, Dell is focused on Windows productivity which aligns with my workflow. If you need it to be optimized for Mac, then Logi might still be the way to go for you. But for me I use Windows and I absolutely love this 7321W from Dell. It's better in every way for my needs.
I recently bought the new Mx Master 3S, since 2015 when they came out I have never used any of these, the last mouse was a wired OMEN and it was good, for 7 years it was my main mouse on my desk, but last week I bought this new 3S and it's amazing! I never felt this kind of sensation in a mouse and the quality of it, definitely the best investment I made, now for this video I am going to try the keyborad mini hahaha
Yeah. Much prefer the original master 3. You know you’ve clicked it. It’s the best mouse I’ve ever owned. Had it nearly 2 years now and I still enjoy putting my hand on it.

I have the original MX Keys, and I've had a bit of a love-hate relationship with it. I LOVE the feel and form-factor, but it's been pretty buggy with some spotty quality control. Little plastic tabs on the backspace key that made it stick and I had to cut off, a space-bar stabilizer that squeaked every time I hit it requiring me to take it apart and lubricate it, one model had a broken F5 key out of the box (prompting a return), the volume up/down key getting stuck on in software and completely maxing out the computer's volume (firmware update solved this one, at least), and lately the backlight ambient light sensor has been bugging out and just turning on the backlight every 10 seconds. From a design perspective, I absolutely love Logitech's stuff. I adore my MX Master 3 and G502, but... while I'd love to give the MX Mechanical Mini a try, I'm a bit hesitant :/
For young people, perhaps. For seniors, the key backlighting is not bright enough, and the labels are much too small. For those with vision challenges, I recommend the Azio Vision Backlit USB Keyboard - with Large Print Keys and 5 Interchangeable Backlight Colors KB506 (Wired), Black.
Although it might be nice to have the 8000 dpi sensor, I personally prefer the clicking of the MX3 over the MX3s. Either way, hands down this is the best mouse I have ever had and I love the wait and feel and it has alleviated any wrist pain I used to have. I will say I have fell in love with the MX Mechanical full size keyboard. I liked the size of the mini but tend to use the ten keys too much for work. My typing speed and accuracy is actually improved over the MX Keys keyboard that I had. Since I work from home 4 days a week, I took my MX Keys keyboard to work and left it there and use the Mechanical one at home :).
I prefer a full-size, backlit keyboard with PBT keycaps, so it's not for me. Low profile boards mean that it's difficult to replace the keycaps. I have an older Logitech keyboard, a G512 with brown switches which is holding up well. The keycaps were horrible, so I replaced them with a PBT set. Very nice. I would have liked a volume switch, but I can live without that.
I like the ASMR approach to unboxing followed by the archetypical lo-fi music. Nice vid. A few questions. So is the material on the MX 3 the exact same as the MX 3S? We didn't hear much detail about the typing experience of the keyboards--how does it compare with the Keys, your other keyboard, and between the switches? Thanks!
I hardly game anymore, but I bought the Logitech G815 because it feels great to type on. If these new MX Mechanical keyboards are anything like the G815 and G915, it's worth every penny.
I just got mine today, and I have to say it is exactly as I hoped it to be. I was searching for an external keyboard as close as possible to the original thinkpad keyboard. I got the tacticle brown switches, imagining the tacticel bump getting close to the thinkpad tactile bump - and boy was I not disapointed. have been using this for several hours now, and I am already sure this is perfect for me. I've got no wristrest yet, but will look into it the following days.
Lol that's the exact combo I have! The mx mini is fantastic and I love that both the mx master 3 advanced and the mini charge via USB-C. So one cable to rule them all.
I don't see how anybody could be really productive without the numpad. Also I bought the MX 3S but the wheel was so unreliable that I needed to send it back (reproducible for example in Excel scrolling up and down slighty fast you will notice how Excel ends going down instead of staying where you started as it's the case using for example the Razer Pro Click mini or Logitech M500 with mechanicals wheels).
I've been using Logitech for a long time, I'll stick with the MX Mini just becase the travel it's insanely fast for me and not gonna lie, not a huge fan of mechanicals keyboard, sound and style are gorgeous however can't be happier with the MX keys, those 2 models are really nice and the FLOW tech has improved to be honest feels smoother than before when switching devices, I like to use the ctrl Key for switching devices to avoid doing it by mistake
month ago i switched from Mx Keys to Mx Keys mini, going to sell previous and current and buy mechanical mini. For a longer time i was looking after mechanical keyboard - g915 was my first choice(second kv8) but this micro-usb was a big no no. Seems like logi released something that is perfectly balanced between mechanical/low profile/business keyboard.
Finally, a mechanical keyboard made me want to change my hhkb and mx key mini. I don't need fancy lights and click click sounds around me. 10 months battery like without put the bluetooth to sleep model, statable wireless connection. I'm in. ONLY wish for this keyboard is that it will be easier to replace this oily ABS keycaps.
Regarding the MX Master 3S: are you guys getting a consistent click sound effect all across the area of LMB/RMB? I know this might be the OCD talking, but my 3S gives off that deliciously quiet and enjoyably tactile click only like 8 out of 10 times on average. The other 2 out of 10 clicks typically come from the area closer to the middle scroll wheel (although not only) and sound, well, sharper and "clickier", more like a standard switch (although not as loud). Not a big deal, I guess it's a standard feature of a mechanical input device, but I can't help thinking that the perfectly consistent standard click of the good old 3 wouldn't annoy me as much.
First.. thank you for your review!! And second, i welcome discussion. Always trying to get a better setup whether it's for computing or for camping or sleeping. Haha .. sharing info is essential. IMO... The logitech "Lift" is much better. It's quiet. It's vertical. And it slides over the mousepad easily because it's lighter weight and comes in contact with less surface area. The scroll is quick like my old cheapo logitech (the kind you get for free from IT haha) not infinite. Infinite scroll is awful in my opinion. I prefer the fast scroll which is a compromise between traditional scroll (sucks hard to scroll line by line) and infinite (which continues after ive already changed focus .. wreaking havoc -- zooming in and out haha). Also would recommend the wireless razer v2 deathstalker pro ten-key with optical switches (also quiet!!). Depends on what you want but for me it's perfect despite being a gaming keyboard. I found the mx mechanical to lack some of the features this particular razer model has. The mx mechanical would be my #2 choice. The RGB stuff isn't that important but it's also a nice bonus. 👍 Honestly i could never go back to twisting my wrist all day. Vertical is only way to go. I guess im an odd duck 🦆😂

The bolt receiver for me seems way more reliable than bluetooth. I would say usb port placement is import to get the best reception with any wireless mouse / keyboard receiver. For FPS games you can tweak or adjust the performance of the mouse in the Logitech Options software. However keep in mind that the experience may not be the same as some of the highest end gaming mice out there. But still decent to play COD or CounterStrike imho.
pardner, please upgrade that shell environment using Oh My Zsh! For real, environment navigation via shell with Oh My Zsh is much quicker. You don't need the "cd" command; just type the first few letters of the directory/file, tab, enter, and boom. Once you've done that, dive into creating custom aliases for your common command line inputs and start working like a dadgum wizard. You can thank you later. :)

The MX Master 3s feels great in the hand but that scroll wheel feels very slow compared to the Logitech G604, or my now preferred Razer Naga Pro. Furthermore I wish it had more side buttons, but I understand why they want to reduce clutter there.

I bought it and I love it, but one thing to mention is you CANNOT unify your mx3 mouse to your lightning unifyer usb receiver. you have to use 2 seperate dongles.. not a big deal but maybe to some people.
I own the gaming version, G915 TKL and I absolutely love it. Now, I'm falling in love in this combo for the workplace. Do you think if the linear switches quiet enough for a shared open space office?
Mechanical keys or not, is a personal choice. The big price difference between the MX Keys and MX Mechanical, doesn't justify the difference. The only reason I would get the mechanical one, would be gaming. But for that money, you get way better gaming keyboards, even wireless ones. For daily use I had the normal MX Keys. Wouldn't want another (when my Apple keyboard would die)
I think it looks somewhat like the G815 and 915 keyboards judging from the way the keys are made, only adapted and simplified for office surroundings...
best according to what scale, metric? if you are talking about mass produced gadgets maybe, but it depends on what you want I want a TrackPoint, and this keyboard has no TrackPoint, I'm using the TEX Shinobi keyboard, is mechanical and has more variety of switches and has a TrackPoint and the old 7 row ThinkPad layout.
I hope they update the Gaming series soon my G915 is getting dated with micro usb and same with the G502. Logitech has been pretty slow updating there products.
#mx love the video no doubt your videos are the best but i got a suggestion try building a desk just to unbox the items like you can add differnet new view angles to it as well like the top view & pov. the unboxing in this video is good but it kinda looks like a mess for a minimalist or you can say it look like a clutter adding a new "JUST" unboxing desk might give a new vibe to the video and it would give a new unboxing experience. :)
As an owner of the mx keys and master 3, personally I've found them to be overrated. The Bluetooth connection is sketchy, the software isn't that good and I haven't been able to get their Flow system to work properly.
Can't understand why it was so important for Logitech to silence the 3S mouse buttons click sound while at the same time they release the noisy mechanical keyboards..
Not everyone needs a quiet keyboard but a noisy mouse in a quiet office environment is annoying and there are no other mice for productivity as good as the MX Master

I'd say that this is a good option for wireless mechanical keyboards, especially since this is low profile as some people prefer this keyboard height. There are some other options like the Nuphy Air lineup but doesn't have the same minimal design as this, there's also Keychron's but I don't think that was done right. Personally wouldn't go for it anymore since I've been spoiled by custom mechanical keyboards already 😂😅 Though I want to know how this compares with Logitech's other low profile offering which is the Logitech G913 TKL. That one is geared more towards gaming but still has the minimal look :)
I had mx keys (first mechanical keyboard I ever layed hands on), but I returned it because… well I just didn’t like the feel (brown switches), and I think I made more typos. But it was really nice too, just wasn’t sure if I get used to it and… it was quite expensive. Now I have keychron q1 with brown switches, and well I really really like it. So happy with that. There is no wireless, but the configuration options and great feel easily overcome this. Its subjective I guess, but yeah keychron felt a lot better right out of the box

The scroll is quick like my old cheapo logitech (the kind you get for free from IT haha) not infinite. Infinite scroll is awful in my opinion. I prefer the fast scroll which is a compromise between traditional scroll (sucks hard to scroll line by line) and infinite (which continues after ive already changed focus .. wreaking havoc -- zooming in and out haha). Also would recommend the wireless razer v2 deathstalker pro ten-key with optical switches (also quiet!!). Depends on what you want but for me it's perfect despite being a gaming keyboard. I found the mx mechanical to lack some of the features this particular razer model has. The mx mechanical would be my #2 choice. The RGB stuff isn't that important but it's also a nice bonus. 👍

I’m wonder how these will feel for me. I use the Master 3 and MX Keys in my Homeoffice setup. Love these because I use a Windows PC for gaming and my MacBook Pro for everything else. Since we switch Homeoffice and office every two week i decided to get the mechanical and 3s so i can take the „old“ 3 and mx Keys to the office. After reading that som dislike the mouse clicks i hope I’ll like these

One question I'm interested in. Nobody says about latency with BOLT receiver and Bluetooth, what is your thought, did you notice it?
Especially did you notice any latency playing video games?
The bolt receiver for me seems way more reliable than bluetooth. I would say usb port placement is import to get the best reception with any wireless mouse / keyboard receiver. For FPS games you can tweak or adjust the performance of the mouse in the Logitech Options software. However keep in mind that the experience may not be the same as some of the highest end gaming mice out there. But still decent to play COD or CounterStrike imho.

pardner, please upgrade that shell environment using Oh My Zsh! For real, environment navigation via shell with Oh My Zsh is much quicker. You don't need the "cd" command; just type the first few letters of the directory/file, tab, enter, and boom.
Once you've done that, dive into creating custom aliases for your common command line inputs and start working like a dadgum wizard.

The MX Master 3s feels great in the hand but that scroll wheel feels very slow compared to the Logitech G604, or my now preferred Razer Naga Pro. Furthermore I wish it had more side buttons, but I understand why they want to reduce clutter there.

I bought it and I love it, but one thing to mention is you CANNOT unify your mx3 mouse to your lightning unifyer usb receiver. you have to use 2 seperate dongles.. not a big deal but maybe to some people.
You can use both with the same bolt receiver if you have the new Master 3S though

Mechanical keys or not, is a personal choice. The big price difference between the MX Keys and MX Mechanical, doesn't justify the difference. The only reason I would get the mechanical one, would be gaming. But for that money, you get way better gaming keyboards, even wireless ones. For daily use I had the normal MX Keys. Wouldn't want another (when my Apple keyboard would die)
I think it looks somewhat like the G815 and 915 keyboards judging from the way the keys are made, only adapted and simplified for office surroundings...

if you are talking about mass produced gadgets maybe, but it depends on what you want I want a TrackPoint, and this keyboard has no TrackPoint, I'm using the TEX Shinobi keyboard, is mechanical and has more variety of switches and has a TrackPoint and the old 7 row ThinkPad layout.

#mx love the video no doubt your videos are the best but i got a suggestion try building a desk just to unbox the items like you can add differnet new view angles to it as well like the top view & pov. the unboxing in this video is good but it kinda looks like a mess for a minimalist or you can say it look like a clutter adding a new "JUST" unboxing desk might give a new vibe to the video and it would give a new unboxing experience. :)
As an owner of the mx keys and master 3, personally I've found them to be overrated. The Bluetooth connection is sketchy, the software isn't that good and I haven't been able to get their Flow system to work properly.

Can't understand why it was so important for Logitech to silence the 3S mouse buttons click sound while at the same time they release the noisy mechanical keyboards..
Not everyone needs a quiet keyboard but a noisy mouse in a quiet office environment is annoying and there are no other mice for productivity as good as the MX Master
I think it's time for a quality upgrade on that mouse. I've been using the previous version and it looks so cheap pure plastic...

I'd say that this is a good option for wireless mechanical keyboards, especially since this is low profile as some people prefer this keyboard height. There are some other options like the Nuphy Air lineup but doesn't have the same minimal design as this, there's also Keychron's but I don't think that was done right. Personally wouldn't go for it anymore since I've been spoiled by custom mechanical keyboards already 😂😅 Though I want to know how this compares with Logitech's other low profile offering which is the Logitech G913 TKL. That one is geared more towards gaming but still has the minimal look :)

I had mx keys (first mechanical keyboard I ever layed hands on), but I returned it because… well I just didn’t like the feel (brown switches), and I think I made more typos. But it was really nice too, just wasn’t sure if I get used to it and… it was quite expensive. Now I have keychron q1 with brown switches, and well I really really like it. So happy with that. There is no wireless, but the configuration options and great feel easily overcome this. Its subjective I guess, but yeah keychron felt a lot better right out of the box
