Meshuggah..."A lot of cursing and violent words". Funnily enough, I don't think Meshuggah have any form of profanity in their lyrics. Correct me if I am wrong.
Don't even begin to try to explain to these women how Meshuggah's music is mostly about transcendence and personal evolution. Not the mention the innovation and musicianship required to create this "noise".

There's a "Fuck" or two around somewhere in their older material from the 90's if I'm not mistaken, but you're right, it's not at all what Meshuggah and their lyrics are about.
The best part of this video is that the lyrics in DO NOT LOOK DOWN are about SAD sheep just like the women in this video!!! hahahahah
I think jens curses in public at their live shows in between songs: " Are you fucking ready?" "Come on your fuckers" but not in songs and thats mainly cause Tomas writes the lyrics.

no, its the facct they give it harsh criticism without actually reviewing it and even pulling up some sort of history of the band, or even the lyrics to the song to know its meaning instead of just assuming like some pea brained retard that "theres a lot of curse words and violence". ignorance is bliss i guess lol.

I think the reason why I like meshuggah so much is because. Oh and because meshuggah is freaking awesome.
The good news is: if they thumbs up some band, probably that band sucks and isn't metal.
That episode was kinda disappointing compared to the last 3. At least those either had a music video to watch, or lyrics to read. Come on guys, I was really enjoying this series til this episode! D:

People don't watch this series to get an informative view on metal music, people watch this series to watch 5 older women freak out and complain about how metal is "noise" so we can get a good laugh. We could get the same reactions by showing our parents/grandparents who don't listen to this music. However I would like to see them "review" Slipknot or Five Finger Death Punch. Other great ones would be Ghost BC, Korn, Steel Panther, or Anialas.

What's even funnier, by looking at the comments, people don't realize this whole thing is for comedic purposes. 50 year old chardonnay drinking women are the antithesis of metal. haha they aren't supposed to like this kind of music. That's what makes it funny. Their reactions are priceless.

I would just like to say that from the recording, it sounded like the volume was up so loud there was a lot of distortion, unless that was just the microphone they use.
If it wasn't the mic, maybe they should think about their audio playback equipment :)
Idk Why people are hating on these videos. Of course not all people like metal, so what? They're idiots because they don't like metal? Stop hating. Different people like different music. When you start calling them names and telling them to shut up it makes them think metal is making you act that way and that the musicians are bad people. So just stop. you're just making more and more people stereotype metal.

These women were probably all big supporters of Tipper Gore in the 80s.
My parents are 59 and 51 and they don't mind Meshuggah but it's still a bit too complex for them i think. It can take a while for your brain to get used to their style. They prefer more clean vocals and melodic stuff. I watched an Amorphis dvd with them and my mum kept yelling out "THIS IS FUCKING AWESOME" after every song haha! Mind you they had had a few red wines. Her favourite metal bands are Immortal and Enslaved.
Don't Look Down is groovy as fuck and really fun to play on drums. What is a real Meshuggah track for you then?

Why don't you give them a lyrics sheet or something and have them actually analyze the song? This would have been a good song for that and they wouldn't have just been able to dismiss it offhand in five seconds because of the sound and an inability to understand what was being said, which resulted in assuming that it was just about violence etc.
