Before you watch: Please understand this is my point of view from using the vehicle for 1 day. I am not a car expert and I simply wanted to see my grandparents reaction.
EDIT: The car has 4 motors & my grandma is conducting not composing :P

@Kristof Alexy no, it takes only 1750km to drive where i have to be many times in a month and back home if i don't count possible trips to different locations or rare trips to sweden. Also my one way trip is almoust 900km, finland is alot longer than that. Add to that -25C(-13f) to -45C (-49f) and all the salt on the roads. Normal car -84 or so is having problems sometimes, not to mention electric cars and new gas cars with parts from ufo.

@forsenCD yes that is one possibility, highly unlikely tho. My experience is that you dont find electricity from woods if closest house is 30km away. It would be weird to find place to charge a car in there. I think i stick to my diesel for now when there is no possibility or common sense to own electric car, at least in here. Anyway.. 350km a day was my point, its always funny to see how ppl think the world works just like they are living their lives.like I could say something like no one goes to store if its more than 20meter away. Just because i live next to the store that means everyone does. Just to get to my cabin and back is more than 350km away:')
@forsenCD you didn't understand or i said it wrong. No one builds a place to charge your car in deep forrest where i usually work. When i move wi4h my car its away from ppl because i drill ground samples there or i build cabins. This kind of work is pretty normal in here and i guess 30% or little less ppl from our country would not benefit from electric car before it takes us further with one charge.
In our country has lots of places where normal people would benefit from electric car and i like to drive electric.
Biggest issue is like the one saying here goes, you only find new cars next to a road in a middle of nowhere, since cars got whole lot of wires and stuff, electric stuff tend to brake down fairly easy and fast. We think its the moisture in the air+salt from winter+cold+ what ever but ppl like to buy old cars because they work. Electric car is like pop music, its there but you dont want to have anything to do with it.

Many toxic things what about production pollution? Is it really better for enviroment? Stop Teoriom Spiskowym A lot of Li-ion batteries are recycled. ecoATM even gives you money to recycle your phone. Li-ion batteries are so common it’s in every phone. What do you want us to use? Ni-Cd batteries? You know that’s even worse?
Since 2018, the recycling yield for Li-ion batteries have increased significantly. Yes, the manufacturing process of the solvent can present environmental hazards, but they are minuscule and as I’ve said recycling batteries have become more popular lately (ecoATM gives you money to recycle, and trust me money is a BIG motivation.) The actual metals in the Li-ion present no environmental hazard and are safe for incinerators and landfills. They are even considered nontoxic waste. Also, Li-ion batteries contain the least toxic metals of any type of rechargeable battery. Also, manufacturing a kilogram of Li-ion battery takes about 67 MJ. There is not too much environmental impact in the case of global warming and also RECYCLING (ecoATM gives you money to recycle!!!)

The reason it's so expensive is because it's a new product, just like every new product, it is expensive at first then the price falls as demand increases.
nope, this is a whole new industry for the car game and the reason its so expensive is that the components are more expensive and the resources are limited, ofc the electric car price will go down but it will always be the more expensive car to buy
if the demand is higher than production that make prices higher .... the price falls if they increases production higher than demand ... less waiting time more cars sold ... but overall price will not falls that much
it will become crazy inexpensive, its just tesla will be expensive, its the mercedez of electric cars. You and me we can afford the prius of Electric cars, only gotta wait until it comes out

A Tesla doesn't have an engine, but it has a motor (two in the Model X)

Engines are mostly combustion engines. They work with steam, gas, oil, diesel, gas etc.
So it has a motor but it isnt where its expected to be.

cookiesw sorry bro but there’s no engine just 2 motors (depending on if you get the long range or not), A generator, and A lithium ion battery pac underneath. Before I left the lot I asked all those questions but if your referring to the overall mechanical moving parts in the car as the engine then understandable 👍🏻

He obviously means no motor under the front hood where one would normally expect a gas engine to be crammed in so tight that you can't even get to basic maintenance items like the oil filter, belts, or spark plugs.
