You can tune your car pre race don't be afraid to restart and tune (solo play) for that track. For instance colossus retune for higher speed while if you are in Edinburgh scramble tune for better acceleration, better 0-60
Wow that speed looks mental. Is it possible to win races at that speed without breaking lines? I have been racing in B class, sometimes in A, it feels like there is more fun in not having too much speed, but maybe it is just me.
You sort of get used to it and the AI sometimes gives up and crashes so you don't need to be perfect. Plus I like the speed, but B and A class are definitely satisfying! Especially online where just losing a bit of speed can really mess you up.
Hi, I was wondering how close you are to posting your in depth tuning video? I hope it's soon, as this video has made me realise just how much I really do want to get my own tuning started as soon as possible. Thank you. Liked and subbed to your channel.
Thanks for replying, that's great news. I've not got anything specific in mind, but I'm really keen to learn more and understand your way of testing the difference your tweaks make incrementally. I already learned some important stuff from this video of yours that I was previously unaware of - namely the use of analytic info on tyre footprint, etc. Very interesting, thanks. Actually I have just thought of something specific; It would be good to know if you use some universal base adjustments as a starting point on cars, when setting up cars for racing, setting them up for drifting or for off road, drag, etc. That would be interesting I think. Looking forward to learning some cool tips from you, Cheers :-)
A Tribe Called Cars the paint job is ok 👍🏻 but you’ve got a great vid there Hey we’re me & a few friends are trying to create a car community in my discord server, hey if you wanna join I’ve gotta link in my video descriptions if you are interested
Or you could spend an hour learning how the tuning options work in the game and effect the car and save time in the future looking through forums for an answer that may not even help and make the car handle worse because they didnt understand the problem correctly. Hoshi hoshi has good guides on tuning
I've read there are cars that you can use crazy extremes and it's fine. What I think is that tuning in Forza Horizon 4 is more about making a car handle in a way that suits your driving style, as in increase or decrease understeer. But I think the physics system isn't complicated enough for tweaks to make that much difference to actual performance. I've done many laps with different settings and the time difference is a second at most. In other words, I wouldn't worry too much about it. But obviously try the camber extremes and see what you think!
@@ATribeCalledCars I have and I enjoy racing with camber setting like you and Hoki do. My favourite tune at the moment is my Atom. That thing sticks to the road like glue. And my Datson 510 but that's a 8s drag wheelie build. lol
I watched about half of the video it was interesting but instead of the video helping me it confused the daylights out of me I couldn't understand half of what you said over half it sounds extremely complex something of Master level mechanic would only know
Honestly, it's not a simple task. Took me a while to get the hang of all the car tuning principles and it can still be difficult. Just worry about gearing ratios if you upgrade the horsepower and enjoy other tunes until you get the concepts. Good luck!
----BITERS PRO TIP : say someones posted a build w incredible stats that you just cant match no matter what you try...simply dl and install the build before having it removed as you enter into the garage...now go thru all the upgrades starting w engine swaps and all parts that were used in the previous build will show up as "owned" since they were paid earlier..this doesnt help any w tuning numbers but still build is makes a bigger dif than tune anyhow----
Haha don't remind me about Half Life 3's absence! The tuning guide is coming, I've taken ages because of life stuff and trying to get through a backlog of car reviews and other gaming stuff, plus pay the bills. It will happen and I really hope people find it useful, I never like to make videos without putting some heart and soul in there and this subject is quite complicated so needs more thought hence the long delay.
@@ATribeCalledCars ah I see, I hope all is well. Yeah it really is complicated, I've watched hoki hoshi's video it was helpful but when it comes to gearing I just can't get it right... Anyway I'll be looking forward to the video! +1 sub
nah, i'll go back to my dum dum need for speed. this game requires way too much effort from me. this is like Kerbal Space Program level of knowledge needed but about cars and car physics.
It's quite a lot of effort to really maximise the cars, but most work pretty well out of the box. Just a quick tweak to the gears if you add power, better tyres and brakes and away you go!
This has by far been the best tips video for fh4 ive ever watched (and ive watched alot)
Glad you approve!
Bruh this video is over a year old and you still replied?

thank you! this is gonna help me achieve beating my cocky friend and having fun against others
Yea, hoping your in-depth is super in-depth, cause I really don't understand anything tune related...
Good video tho keep up the good work...
It will be as understandable as I can make it. Mainly for me haha.
just found this channel, the channel name is dank af

Informative video thanks. Also showed my like in Gran Turismo I don't have the patience for this, just wanna play. Useful nonetheless.
this video need more recognition 👏

Hey, where is the in depth tuning video that you said you’d upload?
exposed
1:56 just put the ai to new driver and it sets your position way up higher, making it a lot easier to get past the ai, so you can improve lap times
GTŹ ÂPØŁŁØ then less money
DeRailed you win all of it back when you get the legendary eight six *times 1000*
DeRailed less money yea but do t forget there’s weekly challenges and wheel spins
Good video!
Liked it thanks
Cheers, appreciate it. There's another tuning video on my channel if you want anymore tips.
You uploaded this 1 day before my birthday lol
Absolutely brilliant vid awesome, the sound on that mc12 is amazing
The sound is better than the pink paintjob I use, that's for sure!

Absolutely no worries at all, but if you ever need tips or help with anything come find us there’s loads of us that can help 👍🏻
WiFi is too slow for me to play online, anyone know a good tune for astra vxr
brilliant

Found a lot of people have found this video useful too. But you're right, it's not always best to look on forums if the basics aren't explained :)
Im 100 subscriber :D bdw great vid
Thanks for helping me achieve the milestone!
@@ATribeCalledCars You deserved that!
where can we find tuning forums
It seems like the Forza Horizon forums and Reddit has some stuff, but apart from that I'm unsure.
Johnson racing, purple guy123, and a few other forza UA-camrs have some pretty good ones
Une traduction en français serai géniale XD.
Les conseils sur la télémétrie avait l'air très intéressant, dommage que je ne parle pas Anglais.
6:14 what is this paintjob,mate ?
It's a gold chrome one if I remember correctly, you can switch to that type in the paint menu.
@@ATribeCalledCars Thank you very much!

I tune camber how you explain but why don't the big names like DJS do it? I've tested their tunes and it seems like he doesn't even touch camber.

The first comment of this type on my channel!
Cars slips too much and turning is also very hard.
This game is stupid except the Graphics.
Succinct, informative and too clever by 0.375.
Thanks although I was thinking it was 0.20. We'll have to agree to disagree.
