I just found your channel. I’m a huge fan of what you’re doing with these old 6.0 Power Strokes. I have been a Bill Hewitt (Power Stroke Speciality Beaufort GA)fan for years. It’s a shame that he has passed. You’re very knowledgeable and meticulous about your work. At some point I’ll probably bring you a 6.0 to be redone.

I have done a lot of pinion seals. A dab of serviceable lock locktite does wonders to insure the nut doesn't back off.

Yep, I loctite all of them. I’ve gotten to where all I use is the loctite sticks and don’t buy the liquid anymore.

@@efraingarciaescalante2824 depends on what all we’re replacing. This job was $1500 labor plus parts which were over $1500 also including gear oil. But most times you don’t need a new carrier unless your wanting to upgrade or had some carnage like this.
