well heres something that i know im pretty sure like 99% of players dont know, grab any of the moon weapons (i used Loud lullaby and Dream breaker) and go stand near a Nightmare, the tabs on the weapons glow when youre close to them

Here’s something that 99.999999% of players don’t know, in the “The Corrupted” strike, you can juggle the ball to a teammate to deal increased damage to Sedia and slightly increase your window for damaging her.
Definitely feels like 99.999999% don’t know..
I knew you could toss it, but I didn’t know it boosts the damage.
Also, if you're playing it as a Nightfall: when you get to the Ogre part where you swap between the overworld and the Ascendant Plane, there's one Unstoppable Champion in each dimension. If you melt the ogres before hunting down and killing both Champions, you won't get the Platinum rewards.

Instead of moving each ball to wherever it has to go in the tower, pull out your ghost in each area in the correct order instead. It is much faster and less time consuming. Plus, who doesn't wanna catch a fireworks show just a tad sooner?

In DSC, you can get rid of the atrax orb on yourself if your operator and have ricochet rounds. In last wish on morgeth encounter, you can get rid of the first taken essence debuf by dropping under the bridge and do the joining allies screen
Ive done this since week 1 bieng yelled at constantly of wtf are you doing!?!?!

You can also guard with sentinel shield or arc staff while jumping through the taken orbs to pick up as many as you want.

I am surprised that many people don't know this, even those who aren't new to the game
9:00. You can actually go further in than that! In the back of the next room above some shelves the passage keeps on going. In fact, you can actually go from the hanger all the way to the main tower area near Zavala through the passage ways. Ever noticed that small rectangular opening above the big fans? Well you can get in there and look out at other people from the inside.
All of this was added as part of the Leviathan quest.
The room with the window that overlooks Zavala is Banshee's workshop/store room where he keeps all the guns that aren't in his shop.
The locker on the wall with the doors is where we originally got the Leviathan bow from.

Adding to the mantling silence and squal, you can also snipe incoming rockets from enemies, only done this once when trying to snipe an invader in gambit. Shot at each other from across the map and the rocket blew up mid air half way. We were both very confused trying to figure out what just happened.

I once shot down a MT projectile, It was close enough so the explosion killed the other player
Managed to throw a knife at a rocket and threw my second and got a headshot
You can actually shoot out any projectile based attack on destiny if you have enough damage .

i remember having a Fallen shoot my grenade mid-air and i was super confused, it's cool to know that projectiles like that are still entities and can be interacted with. though i wonder what happens if two voidstalker mines hit each other mid air... but i think i remember seeing a clip of that somewhere.

A small thing but you can cancel any charged warlock grenades at any point by tapping the sprint button. You don't even have to be moving, just tap the button at any point during the animation and it'll cancel the charge. Doing this with a bow in your hands makes it invisible until you fire it or sprint
Weapon swap also works but with the downside of swapping weapons
Instead of moving the colored tower balls to their respective locations, you can simply walk to the locations and pull out your ghost. As long as you do this in the same order as the needed with the colored balls, you will get the same giant Traveler ball
#51: You can use the strafe option on your sparrow to save your sparrow from being destroyed when falling from a high enough drop. Tap the strafe option just before hitting the ground to prevent the sparrow from being destroyed.
#52: You can boost your sparrow, while boosting. When boosting, tap the boost button for an extra boost for maximum speed!
Dodging also helps for pike as well, just be careful as they carry their momentum still, sparrow often stops all momentum when landing with large downfall speed
When using Cold Denial if you run, jump and reload the reload animation will get completely misaligned and it will look like your guardian is reloading with his mind, this visual bug can be seen with other pulse rifles like Forge's Pledge, Last Perdition and Gridskipper but it is not as severe as it is on Cold Denial, when you see it you cannot unsee it !!! XD

The purple ball on the moon is the same ball that used to be in Destiny 1's Tower.
I knew all of these except a couple of the crucible ones, mainly the smoke nade deleting enemy shadowshots and the Bleak watcher procing damage percs.
And in the very first mission of D2 during the Red War Campaign, you could find the popped purple ball in the tower near Zavala if memory serves.

Swinging a sword or sliding towards any enemy with a stomp mechanic can lessen or even entirely negate the knock back effect.
Many (not all) bosses in strikes and gambit can be staggered simply by meleeing. You can keep a primeval stunlocked for the entire damage phase by having one person melee it (charged or not) the whole time, as long as it's not the meatball

Simply meleeing bosses AS they stomp negates all the knockback in favor for the melee lunge, if you have a way to survive stomp mechanics damage in high-end content, it could save your ass lmao

If you're a hunter and time your dodge properly, you can negate all the kb you would've normally taken from a stomp
I actually did know everything on this list. One thing I also know is that the infinite super glitch with striker still works since the warmind DLC. I miss escalation protocol

Bottom tree Dawnblade Warlock will sometimes activate the explosion while you play with Jotun in PvP and PvE.
It’s not the main impact that triggers it but the small puddle of flames at the impact. If the target is walking away or if he is near someone, it triggers more often.
Usually, if I recall how to do, I’ll send a video if someone wants some proof. I’m on console, I know I can send it to UA-cam but I forgot…
@@ozbalohare1654 I did know that because with dawn blade fire goes boom. I play all three classes and I love to test every little thing when I got nothing else to do.
Honestly my favorite bug though was you could turn on friendly fire with ashen wake. You could do the same thing with diamond lance but that was patched weeks ago.
This glitch works but they disabled Radiant Dance Machine 🙂

Awesome vid there were a couple things in there that I did not know, and I consider myself pretty well informed on D2. The only thing that I saw that was changed a couple seasons ago is that you do not have to keep you highest gear on you, it can be in your vault or even in your postmaster and it will still count. Keep up the good work!
That as been since d2 launch
You reload weapons much faster if you are pressing the reload button as your last round comes out. Otherwise there is a delay before the game recognizes the mag is empty and automatically starts the reload. Works with rockets and grenade Launchers too, tho special GL's can at times lag out.
This is a trick i mastered when Salvagers salvo first came out
So many people don't know Forerunner is also full auto
Honestly, this one blows my mind
Its a direct callback to Halo 1, damage is comparable, the rock is literally the halo frag grenade, of course the gun would have Halo 1's signature full auto mode

I knew about the sparrow emotes, but i did not know that it would give energy back. I believe that the same thing happens when you do a roll with the thrusters.

Yep! Its a holdover from destiny 1 trick sparrows. The midair tricks were actually what made them special as the other older sparrows were actually slightly faster but the trick sparrows allowed for regenning the strafe boosts which mattered in srl.

Yes, that is correct, and sadly its all from leftover additions made from the godly event that was SRL (not actually, its always been in d1 and d2, however, it was most useful in SRL.)
I will continue hoping, for the 6th year in a row, that Sparrow Racing League comes back in D2
@@user-cz1dn5hp5v I doubt it ever will return honestly. While it is fondly rememberd by a vocal part of the community bungie has stated that both times it was an event in d1 it was very poorly recieved and they didnt plan to ever bring it back.
Yooo mantling over the silence super blew my mind, I never expected that to be a thing. Makes sense that it has physics like that with the amount of times it'll orbit something at mach ten then fly off into the distance when you just barely miss a direct hit
Apparently, many projectiles in the game actually have collision. I've seen a video where someone had their Gally rocket connect with an enemy's grenade and cause their own shot to detonate in their face.
I've watched a handful of your videos over the last week and your tips and tricks for pvp are extremely helpful! I went from a pretty weak pvp player to coming on top in alot of my games by incorporating your tips and tricks into my play style! Thanks for all your videos and time!!

5:50 I'm surprised he didn't mention the also easy correct way to do this jump. You just line the 2 half spheres up while it's rotating, it even has 2 half spheres togeather as one full sphere at the base of the launcher as a hint of how your supposed to do it.

That's understandable, that button wasn't there since the start. It was added only last year.
If you put on the mod on the ghost where it shows you planetary materials and chest, the ads trick on the sniper will work there too. Useful to earn some glimmer and planet mats.
Discovered this accidentally when I was looking for planetary mats. Quite hand!

9:00 You can go further into here with the vents and jumping on boxes to get to Banshee's secret shop where Leviathan's Breath, a exotic heavy ammo bow, used to spawn for free on spesific days. This bow is now only in the Exotic Archive.

@@ShadowDestiny Another fun fact: If you do this in the tutorial when you spawn into the tower in the Hangar and there is a security wall in the center that is a load point, you will be glitched to be able to eternally collect the welcome rewards excluding the gift in Zavala's office. It will reset if you force quit the game and it's not really useful because you only get access to blue weapons. If you want gunsmith materials and glimmer, there are better ways, but this is fun to do in the beginning of the game or if you are really thirsty for gunsmith materials for some reason.
The one where u zoom with ur sniper to find patrols, you can also get that effect by pulling ur ghost out and if you do the host glitch you can keep it ut an run towards your target
The sniper one is to find chests and material nodes. everyone knows pulling out your ghost shows patrols.
@@InsomniacDoggo If you do it with the ghost glitch you can see everything even missions in the destination you are on that you are not tracking. either the UA-camr JB3 or cheeseforever has a vid on it.

For the thing where the Hand Cannon hammer pulls back when you press the trigger slightly, it also works on other certain weapons. One example is the Ikelos SMG, where a small, white bar of code will appear under the reticle right before you actually fire. Vex Mythoclast also plays this faint noise when doing this, but the timing is much more strict
But its strictly controllers due to them having triggers you cant exactly subtly pull a mouse on click
As a 3080 plan subscriber and long time geforce now user, it's definitely worth using for anyone who doesn't have a full sized rig. 10/10 totally recommend it, which is saying something as I'm typically a firm believer in "good products don't need advertising"

In fallen Saber Arc Stream，the holder of ball can slide to increase the speed, almost catch up to stream, instead of just walking...slowly
You can also melee to lunge forward quicker. Or click the sprint button and you’ll be only slightly slower than normal run speed.
Did you know that you can use your normal character emotes on your sparrow. You just emote as you are getting on and it will allow you to emote on it (timing must be perfect)
FPS effects how much you are effected by gravity and also your speed

i at least heard or knew most of these but the one that got me was summoning your shit in the hanger, use to be it just came in randomly if you were fast enough but then they stopped coming and i was sad but now im finding out they made a console to summon just yours as many ties as you like has honestly made my day

Dont know if it was in this video but If you have riverine armor set from the Dreaming City, use a Tincture of Queensfoil and youll get a taken effect on your armor! You can also use the armor as a ornament and it works too!
Not only did i know all of these Ive got another for you- The reverie dawn (dreaming city) armor has a taken effect when you use a tincture of queensfoil.

I was today days playing Destiny 2 when I found out about the Weapon Directions for the Kinetic and Energy Slot. I am truely so thankful for that information because I used to lookup every gun on light-gg before farming for it.

@7:14 a cheese way to do that is just run to the locations in order bring out your ghost and it will trigger each one as if you brought the ball there.

Another thing i found out is that if you equip your flawless emblem and equip trials weapon like reeds regret.. it turns to red
If you equip the other trials emblem, it will glow blue! All trials weapons will change their glow colors.\

Idk if it changed with the new subclass updates but I realized thus awhile back. On hunter when you have better tracking on and aim down with a weapon the materials and chests around patrol zones will show up. I used thus alot to complete the patrols and bounties in which you have to find materials and chests.
in regards to sparrow tricks to return boost meter, the same works if you do flips. i ALWAYS do barrel rolls when i get the chance because it's cool, but you need to land directly flat to get the boost back. and no, you can't stack the barrel roll with the emote, unfortunately.
for the jump in Dares of Eternity, the cannonman (that's what they're called in Halo 3 forge mode, at least) doesn't seem to account for DI- directional input, to borrow a Smash Bros term- so the odds are that if you hold the backstep input while approaching the obstacle, you'll make it anyway because you're technically a little further back than you expect to. you can also time your jump juuuuust right as a Warlock to be able to land on top of the ring, though i haven't personally tried with other classes.
there is, indeed, an option to completely hide the chat on console. there's just not an option to restrict it to only in-game chatter, or clear the chat, though. makes it really, really annoying, imo.
the secret checkpoint room you mentioned in the Tower between the main dropzone and the Hangar has a path you can go further from- just look for an opened roof tile in a storeroom attached. this was part of the original Leviathan's Breath quest, and to my knowledge, at the end of the path you can still see the thing caged up in banshee's pad.
i'm at least 80% sure the hand cannon analog trigger thing works for Forerunner, too, which is odd because it's a sidearm. perhaps it uses the same base code as a hand cannon?
something i know good and damn well people don't know is that if you do two light attacks and then a heavy with the Hive ritual swords, it does a special animation that does... probably more damage. i always see people ape it out spamming heavy slams, but in activities like Altars of Sorrow, where you need to kill wizards with the swords, the light-light-heavy combo will kill them in one go, special shield and all.
while it's fairly common knowledge by now, some shaders change lights, and some make them animated. Basalt Toxic and Oiled Gunmetal can make the lights on Trials of the Nine weaponry change colors to RGB fading, but this doesn't work on every shader, sadly. one shader i know of that does change the lights on everything, however, is either Oiled Algae or Vintage Timber. they both look similar and they appear side by side in the menu, but one of them makes lights on everything i've seen so far fade in and out, and it's really cool. it also works on the S'phtish Robes warlock chest ornament, giving the crystal in the middle a strange blue fading glow. i also found that one of the newer shaders with this season or so, a red and white one with a carbon fiber texture, actually completely colors over the lights on the seasonal hunter helmet. could work on others, i dunno.
if you swap weapons but don't want to lose a buff (cough cough ravenous beast), if you're quick enough, you can un-switch back to the weapon, because the buff doesn't technically go away until the stowing animation is fully competed.
tried to think of some small little tidbits that i could have added on to the vid, but not a whole lot came to mind. maybe i'll come back to this if i remember any.
5:32 Thank you so much for this. I can't tell you how many times I played with kinderguardians who just keep hoarding motes and never deposit them since they are trying to get max motes.
I remember at the end of season 14 I was using DMT with anti barrier scout. So I got to blade transform and managed to cheese it by just being able to shoot straight theough the shield lmfao
5:06 you don't actually need the gear in your inventory. Destiny checks vaults and other characters to give you the highest drops when getting powerful and pinnacles to drop.

With Well of Radiance, if you jump/fall then use Well right as your feet touch the ground, you skip the unsheathe animation and the sword goes straight into the ground, popping well earlier than usual. it also lets you move around sooner

I knew most of these, but ones like the orbit bounties, Cayde memorials and the ship summon are great to know. I spend most of my time ogling my ships, so now I can do that even better now.

Some additional unknown tips:
For Warlocks: If you play top tree dawn, when you use your grenade before activating your Super, then your Super will be slightly extended. This works in both pve and pop.
Pve tip: If you stand on a blight ball you don’t take damage. For example if you do the Lake of Shadows strike you see those blight orbs creating those blight bubbles. Inside those bubbles you take damage. However if you jump on any of these orbs directly you don’t take any damage. While standing on those orbs you can shot those orbs easily without taking any damage. This crucial while doing it during a nightfall on grandmaster difficulty.
Pvp tip: This might be fixed by now but it is or was a cool fact that there are many glitch spots on almost every pvp map. But there is one that is extremely ridiculous, so it’s worth mentioning. On Dead cliffs for example there is a tree in the background you can reach and stand on the tip of it. This tree is between Zone A and C, in the far back. The easiest way to reach it is using a Warlock with top tree Dawn. If you mange to reach it you can get a free Sniper kill since the spot is far away ad almost nobody expects it. Especially if you are wearing a white shader on your gear you can blend in perfectly in the light grey sky background. Unfortunately it’s very unlikely you can reach it twice in a ow plus after the first kill you enemy will assume you there but for one kill it was worth doing it (especially when you hit that clip hehe ;)
Goofy yet epic tip:
This works in both pve and pvp. Eager’s edge is a fun sword perk where you can slam people to the wall. However you can combine this sword perk with any of your Super. After you lunge forward with your heavy attack you can use your jump for momentum control and then using your Super afterwards. It was first accomplished by Stasis Hunters but it works perfectly with Well of Radiace on warlocks and in theory with any other Super with any class and subclass.
i knew pretty much all of these except for that hunter knife cancel, thats pretty cool. but legit the thing that BLEW ME AWAY was the fact there is a mark all as seen button. HOW HAVE I WASTED SO MUCH TIME AND NOT NOTICED THAT
I’ve never bought the Hawkmoon (already have Last Word and Ace of Spades) but I did just get the Eyasluna a few times in the Grasp Of Avarice dungeon while doing my Gjally catalyst.
I heard it was loosely based on the Hawkmoon, but those visual comparisons and word meanings is awesome! Never new they were almost the same. Also, even in the description underneath it, it says “One day, young hawk, thou shalt sail beneath the silvered moon.” - I never had put it together before. The roll I got on my Eyasluna even has 14 more range than the Hawkmoon, but slightly worse other stats. Still 90 aim assist- one of my favorite handcannons.
A couple here: First up the Shocker Grenades thrown by Fallen dregs can be shot to destroy them, the explosion does no damage to you. Second and one that is my own discovery: Your Lift/Glide/Double Jump energy only recharges AFTER you have fully completed a mantle animation, if you start one always make sure you complete it. A bonus one that serves no purpose: if you immediately start sprinting after a finisher and you have a gun that you hold like a rifle there's an animation glitch that looks like your guardian is re-shouldering his rifle, imo looks very cool and 'tactical' might be good for montages.

@@spooda1237 you fill up your engram inventory (10 slots) after you get an exotic engram it will be sent to your postmaster, once it is in the postmaster you can accept it any day and it will grant you whatever reward that the master lost sector is dropping that day. Ex: if you pick up an exotic from a legendary or master lost sector (it doesn’t matter which one you pick it up from) and the reward from the master lost sector for that day is a helmet, you can cash in your engram for a helmet that day. Suppose you are looking for the mantle of battle harmony on warlock, you can wait a few days until the master lost sector is rewarding chest pieces and turn it in on that day to have a chance at getting the mantle.

The cylinders on hand cannons also rotate in co-oridation with trigger pull on hand cannons like the hammer does.
Quick tip on the Tower Ball Puzzle. If you just pull your ghost out in order of the ball locations it will count as completed.

As well, Austringer, the fancy Calus hand cannon of similar shape which has just returned in season of the Haunted is the title of someone who keeps Goshawks, or a falconer who uses birds to hunt. They all share a family theme!

There is one more thing that you missed. The ship called "Victory's Herald" has a different lightspeed jump animation. When you go to a different planet or any place that requires you to jump, the ship shoots towards the left and climbs straight up instead of going in a straight line like every other ship.
4:12 Im pretty certain this is Bungie making a reference to the D1 Tower where there was a purple ball you can play around with, it was a very popular purple ball in the community. Sadly during the Red War it was stepped on and crushed by some cabal during the Red Legion attack on the Last City
One secret thing that isn't in this video but is one of my favorites is if you look at a teammate or blueberry and look at their level-box and if you see the box flashing yellow it means that they have a super ready, if not then there'll be no flashing.

For that secrete room off the hanger where it looks like a little guard station, you can go further. Go to that storage room in the back of it and hop on a crate then on the back left storage rack. There’s a vent that takes you to a few jump landings and then to a gunsmith type room with a tiny window overlooking the main area with Zavalda
