How to get the "Appetite for Destruction" GUITAR TONE - Slash (Guns N' Roses) - Bias Amp & Bias FX

- Using Bias Amp 2 and Bias FX 2, I show how to accurately get the guitar sound from Slash and Izzy Stradlin (Guns N' Roses) on Appetite for Destruction.
IMPORTANT 2023 UPDATE - Some users have reported they can't find my presets when searching Bias FX 2. This seems to be a glitch in their search system. To solve the issue, type in the search field "DMO -" (yes, just DMO followed by a space and hyphen) and choose "Sort by Popularity" in the drop-down beside the search field. You should see all of my presets.
Please note many users have taken my presets and created their own versions with similar names. To make sure you are downloading my original presets, my user name in Bias FX 2 is "Dan Oliv". Also, my original presets have a lot more downloads than the non-original versions.

. Bias Amp 2 and Bias FX 2 guitar modeling software - metal distortion and tone matching feature using a Mesa Boogie Mark IIc+ amp simulation
. Vintage B.C. Rich Mockingbird with DiMarzio pickups (Super Distortion and PAF) and Kahler tremolo
. Line 6 UX-1 audio interface
. M-Audio monitors
. Reaper Digital Audio Workstation
. iMac with Sierra OS
My guitar demo features the main riffs of "Rocket Queen". You can use my preset for all tracks on the album - "Welcome to the Jungle", "Paradise City", "Sweet Child O' Mine", etc.

The tones you create a fucking spot on thank you putting in so much effort to create them I actually randomly found your megadeth “rust in peace” tone, so legit! I dont know why but when I downloaded your preset it was super bass filled so I adjusted it by changing the cabs and I changed The eq slightly and now it’s identical and sounds just like it does on the video thanks man

Garage inc. has songs from different eras of Metallica. Disc 1 has songs from 1998 and Disc 2 has songs from the 1980s to the mid 1990s

Hi bro, these tracks where rerecording with BC Rich? Or Slash used a Jackson, Les Paul Derrig o whatever? Tks
Slash actually used all 3 to record Appetite! He mainly used the Derrig Les Paul for overdubs. He used to gig with his B. C. Rich Warlock and a Jackson Firebird before recording the album.
I don't understand how you could play the Appetite for Destruction album without playing Sweet Child O' mine, or Welcome to the Jungle. Or even Paradise city. Lol

Rocket Queen has some great riffs it's underrated compared to the other songs on Appetite for Destruction.
Could you try using a wha pedal next time? I am sure I can hear a wha in a parked position in slash's soud.
