Slash was the reason I got a guitar.
Same :D, i wanted to be cool like him, it's been 3 years, i'm a good guitar player, but still not cool :D

Slash made the les paul so cool to me

I love this bloke, he doesn't take himself too seriously, and there's always s hint of humour with him! He's one bloke that I'd love to have a beer with!

This is more thorough than an FBI investigation. Good job!
Thanks for watching!
Dude has obviously been jamming Slash licks his whole life. Love the passion! Great to watch.
Sounds like Slash, looks like Gilby Clarke
And talks like Jack Sparrow
Hahahah
They got same pickups installed. ... still earing alike, close.
Looks nothing like G Clark

Slash is the reason why I picked a guitar and why my favorite is a Gibson Les Paul

Serial killer for me
Dagan and PMTV, please never stop making this videos!
I love the videos this guy makes. He is always entertaining and informative. Just looks like he is having a ball making them and does a great job. If i was ever to go to England, I would have to try and go to this store just to possibly get to meet this guy in person cause he just seems like an awesome guy to hang out with.
I was in Newcastle a couple of years ago for a wildhearts gig and seen him in a music shop, so nipped in n told him about a little amp I'd bought after watching his review
You saved me 6 years of research and you solved all my doubts as a teenager. THANKS !!!!!
I think this is my favourite Dagan video so far. Can we have a Dagan teaches us Slash riffs series, please?
"slash has been known to have a couple of beers back in the days"
That, my sir, is a hella of an euphemism.
Woahhh bro it's a wonderful covers of Slash riffs guitars.
Outta get me, Nithgtrain, Rocket Queen, My Michelle, It's so easy, etc. Welcome to the jungle, etc.
Almighty, good and incredible amps and pedals.
Thank you a lot from Brazil.

You know Johnny Depp originally plays guitar right? Hollywood Vampires
I guess he’s an expert so pay attention!!
You are the best Dagan. Thank you for this super generous rundown. Watched this many times over, and enjoy it every time!
i have an MG30gfx amp that i dialled a slash tone into ,on the OD2 channel, then popped it through a TS808 tube screamer then into slash duncans in an epi lp custom. Gets a surprisingly good slash sound at a low price point.
Pretty amazing and old news, but this really highlights that without the EQ the riffs sound a bit like Izzy/Gilby/Fortus and then with the EQ you jump to the front of the mix a la Slash.
This gear guide videos are so awesome!
Great stuff, informative and enjoyable with great banter.
Thank you Dagan! This was absolutely fantastic! Good song to end it on.
Amazingly done my friend I do appreciate your passion and enthusiasm Slash is the reason I play guitar, Guns’n’Roses was the band of my generation and Guns’n’Roses is the band of my life I’ve never seen or heard anything like G’N’R! Thank you for all your info you’re a fabulous guitar player ! All the best from Australia 🇦🇺
Always a blast to watch you jam! Even better when you do it to one of my favorite guitarists.
Watching this video a year later, and Dagan still rocks and inspires me to play the electric guitar! Thanks so much brother!
I didnt know they made guitar straps that long
Glossy Karma6670 😂
YES IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS FOR MONTHS
Never stop making these videos. Awesome stuff
I'm so glad I found this video ♥️ *Awesome playing as usual* and I'm looking forward to more gear guides.
I love these. Please keep them up.
Love watching your videos - they are not just informative but so entertaining! Rock on dude!
Awesome review, sounds killer and great info!! Dagan rocks!
Love the look of the Silver Jubilee chassis in the black head shell!
Your playing just SCREAMS AfD bro... Wow!
Oh man, that EQ mid hump and high roll off is such a sweet touch. It gives the guitar more bite with less piercing high end.
Without a doubt, one of the best tutorials on Slash’s rig🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
And your love for the songs and the instrument reminds us all that playing with passion brings everything alive, great job!
loved the presentation!Sound great!Allways happy love it
Great video Dagan, U did a great job on the toneage, awesome playing .
Holy crap Jesus came back as a guitarist! Thank you so much for this video, I’ve been searching forever to find something like this. I like you Terminator 2 reference, that’s the first GNR song I ever heard when the movie was released and they’ve been my favorite band ever since... cheers mate from Las Vegas!
Great demo, loved it!
Awesome playing. Thanks for this.
Really great video, congratulations! I’m sure this was a lot of work, and it was entertaining from start to finish.
The eq and micro amp adds those nuances that really nail the tone.
Great tone! Love this channel so much
Awesome video. Thanks for sharing the tricks. Looks like you had plenty of fun, too.
Great video, very interesting to watch, if I could choose one tone for the rest of my guitar life, I'm going with Slash.
slash is the reason i picked up a guitar as a kid, slash is the reason why i play and love my les pauls, im thankful hes still around it will be one of the saddest days of my life when he dies, hes my #1 inspiration for guitarists hes up there with EVH n Clapton
You the best Dagan. Always awesome playing and you have style, HURRAAAAAH!
Good lad, Dagan. Slash is the boi! Cheers
you really are a great guitar player, I really enjoy all of your videos!
Got to do more like this my man !
Just wanted to tell you that I love your vids, Dagan sending good Vibs from Edmonton Alberta Canada 🇨🇦
Degan that’s a NASTY Marshall sound, I love it, you make everything sound great!
I'm pretty sure that Slash uses a Delay in the Volume Swell section of Estranged. This Dude's video's are Awesome!
Excellent job and great playing thank you and I've learned a lot you're amazing
Well done great info Slash is my favorite rock/blues player
Hi from Delaware, USA. love your videos, you play amazing man!
Awesome! Thank you!
Let's do jimmy page next
yeah totally agree
Working on it!
That was so cool dude.. 🤘
Awesome job well explained
this man is a legend
Love this channel. Slash was one of the last true guitar heroes
You say it like he's dead lol
I get where he is coming from. He isn’t dead but every dog has his day, and his day was in the late 80s.
Man this is Awesome. I bought a Epi Slash les paul in 2008 which is still a very good guitar. This video reminded me off all the G n' R songs/riffs/licks that I once learnt but have long since forgotten 🤣
That is a serious 1K boost on the MXR 10 band, I only boost it like 3db and it's very noticeable.
The Alexander Jubilee is a nice pedal for getting the Slash tone, has a nice mid range.
Great video... Nailed the tone and the guy looks like Gilby Clarke at the same time. Awesome work brother.
5:57 "thats totally depending on the room you're in" FINALLY someone who actually knows what he is talking. Great video! Im rocking a DSL100H with a Spark Booster in front of it, going into a Greenback loaded 4x12 to achive my Slash-kinda sound
Good playing!
My new favorite video of all time on YT! What setting do you use on the Stealth?
rocket queen!!!! great video dude!
You helped me to no end. I have a Marshall 2525h studio. Nearly the same settings.
Slash's first signature amp came from most of his original Jubilees being ripped to shreds at the infamous St. Louis riot back in 91. Slash went to Jim Marshall about having some more Jubilees made because he said if anything happened to the amps he had left, he would be "totally screwed." Jim told him that they could, but it would (apparently) be more cost effective to release the amp as a signature model instead.
Also Slash didn't get his Derrig LP in the mid 90s, it was in 1986 just before the recording of Appetite as his guitars he had at the time "sounded like shit" in the studio. Alan Niven (GN'R's manager at the time) got it from a guy called Jim Foote who worked at Music Works in Redondo Beach (he's still there by the way). Yes I know I need to get out more! 🤣
He play so smoothly and crazy like the original song!!!
now thats a man havin fun!
thank you for great video
I have to admit, you rock dude
36 minutes of my guitar heaven😍🙏🙏
Love the vid
Wow, I didn’t realize Gilby Clark could play Slash’s licks so well.
This isn’t gilby Clark it’s a different guy..
@@usablefiber Really? Huh.
@@usablefiber Get yourself a new sense of humor
Mate, you were lost in the jungle! Classic 👌🏼🤘🏼
You got that right!
Dagan does some of the best gear demos on UA-cam. This sounds great
At the beginning that riff sounded like kickstart my heart
I love it how when u play you look like you’re convinced you’re headlining knebworth. Joking aside thank you for the enthusiasm even when showing us tunes u could play blindfolded with your toes
Amazing, an Ace Frehley video like this would rock 😁
I could listen to you cop a Slash all night! Siiiiick
2 minutes of gear, 34 minutes watching Dagan just having the time of his feckin' life 😂
Black case Jubilee looks amazing
Pretty Nice dude! Awesome! I watched your vid of the epiphone slash and I bouth one nós because of you guys!
We need a sound like Randy rhoads video
Could be a great idea!
@@PMTVUK i know randy was most closely associated with a Black v with polkadots but he also used a Gibson Les Paul Custom and had a Jackson V with and without a whammy bar, he used marshall super lead plexis often which where white ones which contrast with the les paul and Rhoads V, and for pedals it was an MXR Distortion +, MXR Flanger on the chorus riff of Flying High Again, MXR Stereo Chorus to replicate his double tracking he did in recordings, MXR 10 Band EQ and apparantly he used wah in live gigs but i've never heard him use it
also he had some sort of octave on the recording of the over the mountain solo
@@KeeperOfPoops The Tribute album = tons of wah effects. Love that sound!
Amp is correct. The delay pedal is what he uses now, but for the original welcome to the jungle effect a roland srv 2000 was used. For whatever reason that rack unit is the only one that gets the timing identical to the actual recording.
Love watching your channel, it would be cool to redo this vid as I see this one is 3 years old
Your right . I saw a rig rundown of 2017 ,he has 2 silver jubilees and a jcm signature
Dagan was having a lot of fun increasing the sustain whit the white pedal
Spécial thanks 😉🤠👍
that intro was awesome. i wish i had tabs for those lmao
Very cool! What I can't help wondering is, what are the pros and cons if you use the Blackstar rig you're usually using instead of the Marshall head? It would be interesting to see where the strengths and weakness are.
I got the silver jubilee studio head sounds killer
excellent
Cool video! Maybe do a video on how to get John Sykes tone 😀
We paid good money for the Slash Licence. Good on Dagan to play Sweet Child!
Sounds good
