Does latest PCM have a phone app to turn air conditioning on remotely? - I have this in my 22 f-pace svr and it’s so handy for battling an Australian summer atm
Hi Sam. Thank you for your comment. There is the "My Porsche" App which you can control certain things on your Porsche depending on the model. In regard to a pre-cool function i think this is only available on either a Hybrid or Full Electric model like the Cayenne E-Hybrid, Panamera E-Hybrid and the Taycan.
Hi my phone app won’t connect to my car for the past 2 days.
Just says no connection. Wi-Fi is working subscription is fine just can’t connect when trying to access car for pre-heat etc.
Says last connected 2 days ago. I’ve tried deleting app and re installing but still no connection.
Can you help? I have a Taycan Cross Turismo Turbo S 22 Reg
Hi Menaz. Having spoken to our Porsche Pro she says "If your Remote Access is still active on your My Porsche then it sounds like your PCM may have logged you out. I’d recommend deleting his user on your PCM then logging back in first of all, then if that doesn’t work, please give us a call on 01524911911 and we’ll talk you through further solutions"
Hi - how do you logout of your account on the PCM? I'm having no luck activating the Screenhits TV app in my new Cayenne and my dealership (in the UK) has suggesting logging out of the PCM and logging in again. Thanks
Hi Jon, thank you for your questions. If you go to the settings icon on the PCM, then scroll down to account settings, in here you should be able to find the Log Out button. I hope this helps.
@@PorscheCentreSouthLakes thanks for the response. Unfortunately there is no log out option, only delete or deregister the account. Any other thoughts?
how do u get wifi to connect to the car/ how do u get internet connection to the car, how to connect it
Hi @adifganteng2984. I have spoken to our Porsche Pro and she says that you do not need an external Wi-Fi source to access your PCM services such as Weather, Live Traffic Updates, etc. However, if you wanted to use your Porsche as a WiFi hotspot so that passengers with devices that don’t have a data connection can still surf the web, find music, stream media etc, Porsche offer a Data Package that will load the integrated SIM card with 7GB o data every month. If your phone is connected to your Porsche with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, then you can use apps such as Spotify and Google Maps on your PCM using your phone’s data plan.
