I am French and I stumbled upon this video by chance. I am getting ready to take pictures of toys. They will rather be photos taken outdoors according to scenarios but your advice will be very useful to me all the same. I subscribed to your channel. This will make me progress in photography and also in understanding English!
As someome who is doing GCSE photography, mainly toys pictures like these, this was huge help! You have no idea! Thanks a bunch and may the force be with you....
I'd like a video on just camera settings and adjustments, lens to use, etc. for toy photography. If that's already covered in your previous ones do point me there. Thanks!
What a lot of great tips and I can see how this demo will lend itself to other small subjects as well. The tip on using a display for a stage set is awesome. Thanks on sharing this video and yes, a follow-up video on the multiple shots merger in PS would be fantastic.
Awesome video! I do toy photography on my and I’ll definitely be checking out the photoshop video next. Some of those big accounts are just amazing! I don’t do much ‘studio’ work but I think I’ll gonna have to try it out now it is all rainy and wet in New Zealand atm
Hi Steve, in Lightroom you go to the develop module and look for lens correction, tick both boxes and the software will fix any issues and distortion the lens may cause such as chromatic aberration, vignetting, distortion etc... Hope that helps. Paul
I need to try the monitor background out for a few shots. I don't have access to editing software right now so my work is basically the raw photos aside from some basic brightness and filter tweaking, but if you wanna check out what I have done so far you can check out my instagram at itfiguresphotography.
Would definitely like to see the tutorial on how to merge the shots.

amazing! Which monitor do you use? Where I can find it? or now in 2021 can you recommend any monitor better or like that?
Really intresting mate. Would this work with stop motion (did your monitor give you any led banding /flicker)?
Yes this would work for stop motion. Just change the shutter speed if you get any banding.
@@photogenius thank you very much
I do Toy photography as well. I'd actually like to see more examples of your toy photography. I'm always interested in extra tips.

Hi Paul,
How do you stop or reduce chromatic aberration on the edges of your chosen subject?
Hi Steve, in Lightroom you go to the develop module and look for lens correction, tick both boxes and the software will fix any issues and distortion the lens may cause such as chromatic aberration, vignetting, distortion etc...
Hope that helps.
