Thank you Kassandra. Each pose is a bit long for me. I'm scared of not being able to come out of each of them ;-). Not used to. I do each shorter. Little by little I will get used to it. Yin yoga is very calming, meditative. Excellent!
I AGREE too!!! I had to stop a - otherwise fine - workout just because of the non-stop blah blah. Kassandra is one of the best in maintaining silence when she has to. And btw her "Minimal Cues" Yoga series is phenomenal...

Usually I enjoy classes with a bit of background music, but this silent one really helped calming my racing thoughts today. I personally would add one more pose for shoulders or upper back and it would be perfect.
I also really enjoyed her not playing music so everyone could choose if they wanted to add it in. Although since it is yin yoga, that meant I kept looking at my phone to see if the video was still going!

the first few minutes i had a hard time with the quiet and not focusing on all the muscle and joint tension, once i realized that was exactly what i needed to do, turn in to the feelings, and focus on them, it became amazingly meditative and the class flew by. i loved it. now i only want to do yin yoga with no talking or music. amazing!. thank youl
So different from the yoga styles that I am used to but I thoroughly enjoyed it! It amazed me how I could feel such deep amazing stretches while relaxing in total silence through each stretch.

My word for today is intentions. I was focusing on the root chakra today and my intention was to focus on all the chakras this week. I can see how this is connected to the heart chakra and that is very much appreciated. 🙏🏻

Do you have specific poses for these muscles (to fix rounded shoulders): - Pectoralis major and minor (Chest muscles) - Latissimus dorsi (Low and mid back) - Anterior deltoid (Front of shoulder) - Upper trapezius (Neck and upper back) - Levator scapulae (Runs from shoulder blade to neck)
For pecs the broken wing Yin pose might help, for the latissimus childs pose and catapillar can work wonders, for the deltiod perhaps heart melting pose, cow face pose might fix issues with traps, for the neck perhaps the rabbit or plow. That would be my take, but I'm also interested to hear Kassandra's thoughts on this.
I love this one so much. It’s so hard for me, it hits all the spots I avoid doing. I have to use all the props to relax into them. The long holds are so perfect to slowly relax into. This is one of my favorites, and one of the hardest for me.

Hi, Kassandra! I would ADORE more hour-long, de-stressing, deep-stretch yin practices like this! Maybe also incorporating poses for the elements, more unusual poses like for the wrists & internal rotation, & affirmations (that’s a lot, but it’s my dream lol!). This was one of the best classes I've ever had! I learnt new yin poses that were pretty intense and nice. Some of the poses semmed like quasi yang, as they asked for some sort of effort :) Thank you so much! I love your classes!

Love this . She really helped me to recover my body and mind after a hard time and a very bad hernia. No medication but yoga 2 times a day helped me to chill out again and feel free and good in my body again. I am 57 but now I jump out of bed like I am 20. Never been so flexibel as now after a half year erverday yoga with kassandra. Thanks 🙏
These Yin classes really help me increase my range of motion a lot more than a regular yoga class! Now just need to buy some proper yoga blocks as currently I'm using kick pads lol
What a fabulous teacher. Ive been making rotis on and off for decades. I originally learnt from my mother in law in Fiji and although in Fiji they make them exactly the same way (little oil, boiling water), mine nearly always turned out tough or hard. First time I tried after watching you and they ALL came out perfectly!!! I think maybe because of the detailed rolling technique, which i used to do differently. Any way, thank you for this and all your wonderful videos ❤❤❤.
This was a great session, great for focusing yourself and being aware of the different states you can arrive at your practice in. I found myself very distracted, it was a challenge to stay in each posture for so long, but pushing through till the end fostered strength and kindness to myself. As always, thank you for this class

Yeah, I had to add an upper body stretch while doing this. Otherwise it was an absolutely scrumptious class. ☀️💕☀️💕

This was a good practice, the leg stretches are challenging because I have tight quads and hamstrings, I will keep working at it!
