The coolest thing about Nirvana, in my mind, is that no matter how rough and unpolished their sound was, they were known for being one of the tightest live bands ever. The breakdown in this video is a great example why. They're so locked in with each other.
What I love most is how they sounded just as good live, no need for studio magic, they had talent. Think we could all name dozens of bands and artists that could never, ever, make that claim.
@@lRlSHBLADE For sure, there are numerous that do actually sound as good live and they deserve the recognition too (which I think the get). Those that can't do it live I feel don't deserve the fame as much as those that have the talent to do it without the producers magic.
Dave screaming "1,2,3!" at 2:27 just before the song bursts back to life is one of the most satisfying things I've ever heard. Nirvana were and still are phenomenal. Edit: Cobain is not the one screaming. The scream is undoubtedly Dave's, which is higher, higher than Kurt's scream. Kurt was near the microphone, but he was moving back and forth, and there was no waiver (probably not the right word, but you get what I mean) on the scream. It's Dave.
@Goggle products You're right about a lot of things, except the programming. Its not being done with intention by humans, we share this space, our world, mind and matter with other great powerful beings. When you put all the pieces together (which you are) you can see patterns that point to an agenda that seems evil, this is true, this agenda is coming from the planet Saturn literally (Saturn manifest's as many different things). Those who have discovered this pattern, this influence within our existence and pay homage to it are Satanist's yes, whether they realize it or not. There is a moral order to creation, this moral order is manifest in the human mind as the voice of truth that leads to life, but Saturn want's us to "do what tho wilt", which ultimately leads to death, Saturn wants your soul trapped in this world for he is the King here. Those that follow the moral order over come Saturn's influence, nurture their soul and are released into the heavenly kingdom of God, released from the suffering of this world. I know it's overwhelming to the soul when one discovers these realities, take space and be kind to yourself and others. Life is a spiritual intelligence test, be kind and love. In time you will be rewarded with clarity and strength of mind and heart.
At 2:27, I love the imagery of Kurt completely engrossed in the interlude between the crescendo and refrain. It’s a release you don’t typically see from him when he’s performing. Then he turns to the mic and for a couple of seconds the entire theatre is lit and you see the contrast between the pit, which is in total mayhem, and the balcony in which people are seated and watching (impossible to believe). It’s the same contrast we see in Kurt when he performs: at times cool/detached and at times uncontrolled due to the power of their incredible music.
