Camera guys for this concert needed an award, seriously. Some of the best live camerawork out there. Completely matched the intensity of Kurt, Krist, and Dave.

This is just perfect. Dave has a water explosion and loses his cap, krist jumps around like a lunatic, kurt has a spasm for the solo, the stage dive is ridiculous, the dancing fans are joyous, the camera, lighting and sound are absolutely spot on. Thank you!

Fun fact for nerds like me: This was the only Nirvana performance captured on film as opposed to video; 16mm to be exact. Man does it look good.

So raw, intense, heavy, Dave is beating the hell out of those drums, Krist's driving bass, Kurt just totally amazing, guitar like a buzzsaw, voice raging, pure rock and roll fury and energy. RIP Kurt! The world lost such a huge talent way too soon, still so sad, rest in peace, you deserve it.

This performance reminds me ACDC, the colossal level of energy and adrenaline, at certain point Cobain getting to the ground palying the guitar, someone flying into the crazy crowd from the stage, a time machine to the 90´s music and people.
An amazing sound for a 3 piece band.

that wasn't a 'show' - Kurt admits he's no good at it, he never screams out to the crowd or says stupid sh*t like 99% of the others, he MAY say 'hello' or goodnight before the encore, if that much. He was just running on pure passion when it came to playing music. But I loved to watch him go and thankfully there's video that I can still watch him, bittersweet, mostly sweet.
@@rgoob4045 the band members all grew up on the amazing energy of live bands. They know what it is to put on a show, and for them it’s the pure energy of going all in. They know what it is to be a fan in that audience and they want to put on the best show possible to bring them all in. It’s not an accident.
This isn't quite the only example where he knocked the mic stand over during "Breed." He kinda did it at the Paradiso, Amsterdam 1991 show (but he pulled or threw it on the floor instead.) But at that show, no one picked up his mic, so he just kneeled while yelling into the mic on the floor.
The guitar in this song is just immaculate. That shredding is insane in the guitar solo

They had very high quality recording back then. But the VHS and DVD was not good enough to deliver it for home viewing.
Of course, that problem has been solved now.
There are no words to describe how incredible this performance is. It makes sense looking back why the whole fucking world took notice of this band. Kurt lying down during the guitar solo is so badass. Goddam he was beautiful.

these cameramen need 100% kudos for recording this show. one of the best ive ever seen. almost like watching a concert but it's a movie. random guy stagediving, kurt falling and still proceeds to play the breed solo, crazy guy dancing. dave smashing and hitting the drums and krist dancing. these 3 were just on top man.
Not many bands sound as good live - but Nirvana always sounded as good, if not better, than their albums. Always raw AF. Amazing how much they gave us in such a short amount of time. We will never see the likes of them again.

Uh... there are plenty of way tighter bands live, ones that perform like them? No, but that's not a fair way to judge other groups, cause... they're not trying to be them. Plenty of bands sound better live than in the studio. I don't see the point in comparing bands to each other in this way, since they aren't trying to be the same thing.

They were times changers... times that will never come back.

This live show is really good! However Nirvana -like any other band- also had bad days. I saw them at Roskilde festival 1992 and the sound was dreadful and the bands bad mood filled the stage. But then again I am sure you could find someone who were also in the crowd that day and had another experience than me.

Dave Grohl... The "human metronome" as Kurt called him is, as tight as they come. This whole rendition of Breed is good & inspired! Not to be improved on til the 'additional help' of the newest member and "honorary punk rocker" Pat Smear. He just fully filled out the sound like they never expected...Damn, what a live band they were!

This is what it was like back in the day. My friend Danny went to tons of Nirvana concerts back in 1990 and so on and he told me that everyone was jumping off the stage and pushing each other and just going crazy. Times sure have changed.
