The gear call out is very helpful. I bought my first bike (2019 crf250r) last month and have been enjoying every minute of it. Your channel, "Dirt bike channel," and "Dirt bike TV" are the best ones out there! Hope to see you at Cahuilla sometime.
Thank you so much. I just got a 2016 crf250r last Saturday. I’ve only been on track twice now but I’m just taking it safe and slow rolling every jump. Once I get confident I would like to start jumping. I did a small double today😎😎
Very good video, telling what gear you were in on the track combine with the engine sound is great. Gives a very good perspective on the track. Cheers :)
Excellent video mate. You are a very safe rider. You can tell you ride within your capabilities. Good commentary with the gear changes. Looks like a nice vet track. Unfortunately I live in Australia 🇦🇺
@@dirtniron hi mate I live in Brisbane. We have a few tracks nearby. Willowbank & QLD Moto Park (QMP) are the closest. We have another one that is really good called Motoland but it’s currently closed until they rectify noise complaint issues. Tracks are pretty good here but probably not as good as you have it in SoCal. Keep up the good work on the vids!
Great video as always Rado. Im looking at these new KX 250f and even 450f but im curious if you ever feel like you need more power on the 250f? I am a vet rider, 210lbs and a beginner/novice level rider. Currently have a 2018 rmz250f but I jut cant get comfy on it and always seem to want more power. Cheers buddy
I do feel sometimes to have a need for more power, but many times I can compensate with better riding, , more corner speed, etc.. did you try 350? or perhaps faster 250f? rmz stock has around 5hp less compared to the pack
@@dirtniron definitely looking at the 350's and also the new husky TC 250 2T. I don't want a big heavy feeling bike which is why I don't want to go the 450 route.
Hi! I am a brand new rider and just started going to the cahuilla vet track. Would you hit these jumps in the same gear on a 125 2 stroke, or a gear higher for some of the jumps? I know you generally have to start with more momentum on a 125, but unsure which gear to clear these doubles and the last step up
I would say at least one gear higher on all the jumps while keeping it on the pipe. You also need to shift way more often and clutch it out the corners to stay in the meat of the power. 125 is so much fun!!
I enjoyed this, do the same for 2 stroke and explain if you are holding in the clutch in corners / holding open the throttle or a little bit/dumping the clutch/what gear you are riding in like this video
@@dirtniron Thank you! I live in Phoenix, AZ so that's only about a 4 hour drive or so! I might give it a go ... that track looks really forgiving for a 52 year old like myself! Thanks again for sharing ...
Hi sir . Congrats to you .. this is from philipines . Can i have 1 of your bike sir . Because this is my dream all of time . Please sir help me to catch my dream bike .hope you read this my massage from philipines . You #1 supporter ❤
@@dirtniron I would take a newer kx250f like this over a 450 just because of how nimble and awesome the power delivery is. Amazing how far technology has come !!
