Fake Stop Motion : A How To

- Stopmotion is great but can take a million years. This is my cheat way to make animation look a bit like paper stop motion to give more of a handmade feel to your videos. You'll need a working understanding of photoshop and after effects as I gloss over most of the smaller steps.

This is so much help for me at the moment!! I'm taking media in school and we recently had to complete a film (and knowing me I left it till last minute) and the stop motion for it took up sooo much time I nearly didn't get it finished. I am for sure going to use it for school from now one and it'll also help me Geri introduced to after effects, thanks chase!!

i know i'm like a million years late on this video but it was super helpful so thanks :) just a tip, instead of having to do the stars manually you can pre-compose each star and then add the wiggle effect within the precomp so they'll wiggle while they move. :~) I'm using this technique for a client project and have like, a billion moving pieces that all need to wiggle, so i just precomposed them.
