Ooh la la. Beautiful!
Hey! Just yesterday I tried this technic, it didn't work properly, today I tried again with your video on the background, it worked perfectly! Thanks man!
Awesome!!!
Precisely what I was looking for! Thank you.
this was super helpful, though when i do the effect the paper stock image is still full rather than transparent and cropped to the movement of my video idk if i missed a step or something ,_,
hi! great you found it helpful. at 6:48 I click the checkbox for "preserve underlying transparencies" on the paper layer. is this what you missed?
Great tutorial, Tyler! 👍
Lego Stop Motion thank you!!

Please do more videos Like This one. You have a New suscriber. Also if you make a course I Will buy it
This is exactly what I needed !! Out of curiosity how did you learn this ?
Glad you liked it! All my tutorials are the results of messing around and experimenting. Then I refine that for the tutorial. I recommend messing around with effects you dont usually use in after effects bc that's how you learn stuff
Creativid Studios amazing man! Thank you 🙏 I definitely will be doing more of that instead of just following tutorials. Cheers!
I think the footage should be interpret to 12frames a second, it would sell the effect better.
yes, thats probably true. another thing you an do is time remap the footage, keyframing the easing of large motions. and slowing the frame rate more when the footage has less motion.
@@BWayMotion Oh that sounds good! Thanks for tip! 🙏🏻 Amazing that this old video is being red by creator! Huge thumbs up! 👍 Keep up the work! 🎉
@@timovepsalainen4927 I appreciate the support!
how do we add colour to the person?
Hey! If you want the same colors as the original footage, place a duplicate of the footage (in color) under the outline layer (but above the bottom layer). Of course, use the keyed version of the footage for that, and you'll probably want to mess around with color correction, too.

Now how would you make a paper cut out effect, but create an animation that flips it to a different animation/image?
Hi. What do you mean, exactly? Do you have a link to an example?
@@BWayMotion lol I mean it literally as I said
the pop-out/paper cut-out effect with one image/pose then flipped horizontally in the same spot to another image/pose
I've seen it done before but not too often so I don't have an example off the top of my head
ok so let me put it this way
the paper cut-out stop motion effect that you made of yourself, how would you be able to horizontally flip the paper cut-out of yourself
