Thanks again for another fantastic reading. You were born to read Warhammer 40k stories. Your voice, inflection and ability to convey emotion are top-notch. Well-done!
I wish the black library would release another story of rogue traders. The star of damoclese is still one of my favorites. Particularly when the inquisitor gets a flamer used on him.
I just found your channel yesterday and have spent the last 24 hours listening to your reading (I listen to audiobooks to sleep as well). What I would have given when I first got into 40K in the late 80s! You bring life to the stories, the characters, and the 40K universe. It doesn’t hurt that you have the same accent as my homeboy Limey Brad! You Brits are the best story tellers around, no question. Thank you SO much for sharing all of this lore with the world!
I just wanted to say thank you again I always enjoy listening to your audiobooks I like the different voices that you put into it thank you and I look forward to the next book.
Tenebrae; when I hear Tenebrae, I think of Tenebrae 9-50: Alpha Legion Base. I liked listening to this Prince, I've been feeling tired when you released this. Pausing and playing it a fair bit in chunks. But all in all, good work, and damnation come to the followers of Chaos. Curse the Word Bearer, and banish their souls to the void.
Your a amazing narrorator your really good and it. Every now and then I can hear the pause as your turn a page or something but that's no big deal. With a little more practice I think you'd be just as good as some of the guys at Black Library.
Mark Brendan is a true successor to Ian Watson (of *Inquisitor* fame). I'd even say that this novella surpasses his work in garish irrelevance and poetry-adjacent gibberish. Moreover, the ability of the principle character to have no consistent characterization was truly impressive. I'm hard pressed to think of an inferior work of fiction. Perhaps the writing in certain video games (eg, Uriel's Chasm)?
an old compendium called let the galaxy burn of short stories im working my way through. ill be doing a full old out of print novel towards the end of august
such a brutal, emotional short story
i know right

You're better at this than the real audio books are and somehow bring everything to life

Being a fan of the source material certainly must help with a voice performance.
That is true
You can always tell when people enjoy the source material
I agree with this as well

When Warton P. Hammer created this company way back when I don't think he could've known the great types of stories the BL would eventually publish.
This is my all time favorite 40K story.
