Glory to the Emperor and his Wolves of Fenris. Thank you Baldy, this is a most excellent, seriously amazing, and much anticipated straight up MOVIE of EPICNESS that more than lived up to the hype! You deserve a well earned vacation after this one!
Baldemort: Hey guys I'm so sorry this is late Us, buried underneath an near endless amount of content, looking at the nearly 3 HOURS of video: We're good!
What a great accounting of the Warriors of Fenris, the Sons of Russ, the indomitable Space Wolves! The Wolves have been my favorite faction in all of Warhammer 40k ever since I first got into it after picking up the the Space Wolf Omnibus what now seems like many years ago. Thank you, Lore Master Baldermort for lending your prodigious wit and glorious voice to the honor of Sons of Russ and to attempt to dispel the misconception that those most honorable and loyal servants of the Emperor are not but uncouth, braggarts. May the Emperor's light shine on you every day, may you drink and eat with the gusto of Sven the Gentle, and may the Inquisition never find you interesting.
Every chapter of space marines consider their members kin, but none have as close a bond to its members as the spacewolves. Fury of primal rage is set deep within their brood, and it may be outshone by the black rage and red thirst at times- but very few can match their steel with the diamond hard fangs of the Space Wolves.
Before I say this I would just mention that this was incredibly well done and entertaining, thank you Baldermort, great story telling and exposition. Now that I hopefully have prefaced this carefully enough, I just wanted to add that I now understand the TTS Emperor joke where he says: "All I got out of that was WolfWolfWolfWolfWolfWolfWolfWolfWolfWolf and Wolf", I had no idea that so many things were named "something Wolf". I'm just amused at that I'm sorry. I'm Scandinavian, don't get me wrong, I LOVE them being a kind of representation of my people (nordic people).
There actually is an explanation in lore. The rout never refers to itself as space wolves, but Vlka Fenryka or the rout, they have other names but these are as a whole. And the reason why so much stuff is called "something wolf" is because either the fenrisians never cared to translate it for the imperial scribes, or the equivalent word in gothic doesn't exist. Have a nice one and be safe.
This was amazing! I had just finished priming my Space Wolves combat patrol box when this popped up on my notifications. Leman Russ has smiled upon me this day!!

@@Psychoangel-d23 Yup. Its not shown in the tabletop, but not all rebellions and traitors are linked to chaos. Far from it. Hell, the war for Badab wasn't a chaotic one for the most time, caused by marine chapters that wanted to distance themselves from imperial administration as to better fullfill their duty of containing a warp storm. It just escalated from here, until chaos happened. But until that point? It was marine traitors unrelated to chaos indeed.

*bows*. Thank you. :)
Magnus the Red: SPACE WOLVES?!!!!
Kitten: $hit! $hit! $hit!

No. Thank you brother.

Glory to the Emperor and his Wolves of Fenris. Thank you Baldy, this is a most excellent, seriously amazing, and much anticipated straight up MOVIE of EPICNESS that more than lived up to the hype! You deserve a well earned vacation after this one!
Praise the EMPEROR brother!
@@54032Zepol Praise his name!
Brother, what is this?!?!?! YOU ABSOLUTE MADMAN!! You've gained everlasting glory for this!
Agreed!!!
I'm gonna need THREE cuppas for this one. Nice, Nice, Nice... The intro gave me chills. You just keep outdoing yourself mate
Baldemort: Hey guys I'm so sorry this is late
Us, buried underneath an near endless amount of content, looking at the nearly 3 HOURS of video: We're good!
The story-teller returns. Thank you Lord Baldermort, Emperor keeps you for we all walks in His immortal shadows.
Last time I was this early, Magnus still had two eyes.
This is my new favorite lore-vid, btw.
Last time I was this early Magnus still had a spine.

(The Rout will remember that)
@@nicholascerillo4000 well technically he is missing parts of it considering how broken it got I suppose
This video has been warp-touched, a 5min video turned into almost 3 hours!
By Russ and the Allfather, thank you for this amazing work of art Baldermort! You have truly brought honor to the chapter with this saga of collaboration between Warhammer UA-camrs!
FENRIS HJOLDA!!
Spending some quality time with the family tonight, but I'm definitely looking forward to kicking back and watching this tomorrow.

It is a good day to be a wolf, thank you, brother!
Also: "I was just saying we could, not that we should. Just giving options." 😆 I adore your sense of humor!
Wow, that was pretty fucking awesome all involved. Thank you!
As a maturing blood claw,
I absolutely LOVE the collaboration of warhammer content creators who put their own spin on things.

The response at 19:34 is just the epitome of space wolf sense of honor. *chef’s kiss*
This is going to be great! Thank you baldernort, you are one of the main reasons I got into this hobby!
Oh, OK THEN. Grabbing my wet pallet, marines, horn mug, and settling in with my dogs for a night of space wolves galore.
A very fine evening.

Baldermort, thank you for the show! Your passion and voice do the lore great justice.
Rho was cast perfectly
My god all of your videos are so well researched and voiced, and I LOVE all of your fanfic work. Great stuff, my dude.
HOLY HELL this is amazing, I will have more great things to say when I finish it!
That was one heck of a banquet baldermort. Your passion shines in this one as you stride ever forward on your chosen path of content creation.
I'm almost ashamed to say I cant wait for more and that I have my finger crossed the Saga of Russ himself.
Bask in the triumph that is this installment, you've earned it
Brother Baldermort - Thank you for the belated birthday present! I needed this for the homebrew chapter I've been thinking about so I have a perfect longterm listen now.
Happy birthday brother Talanton. :) b
This is tremendous. When Olaf started to explain by the fire i was stunned to recognise the voice. I had to read the description to realise these were not plays on accents. I am very happy.
2:36:30 The music cut off at the perfect moment and gave me a good chuckle. Very good comedic timing. As a Space Wolf player, I saw the stunt coming from a mile away but the editing still broke me. Excellent work! Allfather willing we get more Space Wolves lore including some special names characters!
That chaplain gives a new and slightly unexpected take on the phrase "Die on your knees" I take it as proof that the vlka fenrika can't take anything seriously
Hard to take an enemy seriously when they’re pissing themselves at the idea of facing you
This has been awesome and has reinvigorated my love of the wolves and sparked some old modeling ideas( lining a stormwolf with round shields reminiscent of a longship or of a bloodclaw carrying a barrel of mead into battle) all i can say is thank you sir for your and your compatriots efforts
Nearly three hours of pure auditory perfection... Welp, I guess I know how I’ll be spending my night!
I love how you bring all my favorite lore content creators together. Keep doing what you do brother, I love it.
Hey Baldy, it just occurred to me I've never said this to anyone, but tnis video in particular really has helped me with my PTSD nightmares.
I loved the Space Wolves, and have listened to you since i found your Rogal Dorn video, and have often let this be what lets me calm my mind. My familiar ship in a storm of unfamiliar waters.
Some of my darkest nights where I almost ended my own life were spared because of your steady, wonderful voice.
I cannot thank you enough. Truly.
"Vlka Fenryka! Has honor been satisfied?!?"
"Yesh! Honor's been shatishfied!!!" (THUD)
At last. It has arrived.

What?! I never knew this project was coming! There goes my evening!
I do like the fact that you made the Eternal Champions (a fully primaris chapter) traitors it's so nice to see primaris marines just as fallible as firstborn
I like the fact that it didnt went straight up Chaos traitors But merely their own arrogance brought them to fall. Which is nice for a change.
@@Psychoangel-d23 agreed
@@Psychoangel-d23 Yup. Its not shown in the tabletop, but not all rebellions and traitors are linked to chaos. Far from it. Hell, the war for Badab wasn't a chaotic one for the most time, caused by marine chapters that wanted to distance themselves from imperial administration as to better fullfill their duty of containing a warp storm. It just escalated from here, until chaos happened. But until that point? It was marine traitors unrelated to chaos indeed.
@@thorveim1174 to this day i believe that the war for badab was caused by a petty Inquisitor. Things went south at the wrong Time far to often to be a coincidence. Specifically the Inquisitor that malakim phoros told to fuck off (politely of course).
