4AGE-20V iMS (intelligent Multiple Spark) on a Corolla. 智慧多重火花系統在Corolla上。

This is a 4AGE-20V swapped Corolla. With stock ECU.
4AGE-20V intelligent multiplr sparks system.
This system takes the IGT and CYL(NE) signals from the dizzy.
It then reproduce 4 independent sequentially 4 IGT signals to the 4 COPs.
Number of sparks per ignition varies from revs.
DWELL also varies from 4.6ms to 5.9ms at all revs.
Timing is minor advanced in micro seconds(us).
這是一台改了4AGE-20V引擎的Corolla。 使用原廠電腦。
4AGE-20V 智慧多重點火、多重火花系統。
本系統使用分電盤內產生的IGT與CYL(NE)訊號。
重製出4個獨立依序的點火訊號，傳到4隻獨立點火考耳。
每次點火進程的多重點火次數會依轉速不同而改變。
充磁時間也會有變化，在4.6ms到5.9ms之間。
點火正時微微提前，只有數個微秒(us)範圍。

What is benefit of IMS?

Ignition power will throught the COPs not the dizzy. The old power ignition ignition parts will obsolete.
The ignitor, coil and distributor cap are no longer require to work for the ignition.
As long as the engine position sensors inside the dizzy still working consistenly the engine will run fine.
All these saved the engine from the old dying ignition parts.
Multiple sparks discharge can improve engine efficiency.
Burnning more fule brings more torque output is the main feature of the iMS.
Also make the old cars especially the iconic ones with much cleaner exhaust while having fun with.

That can not be done. That is not my car and the engine is moving to an AE86.
