這台稱職的1998年份的六代雅歌K9 多年前在回收一顆2000年份的F23A後,以NTD2萬收了這台K9, 給他換上F23A也頭好壯壯的噴了好幾年, 無奈在開始吃機油後,已不適宜開在路上,現在擔當出貨前的品檢車。 每一套作給HONDA舊車用的DFC,DMF或iMS都會用這K9測試過再出貨。 這影片也是品檢影片。 原本HONDA的iMS控制器,大都有直接轉接的公母接頭線組, 但是因為K9沒有分電盤公母接頭(也是有啦,只是都殺肉品,且取得不易), 於是很久前作了一次把控制器內建到黑色塑膠蓋內的成品, 最近有了一個order,所以作好後拍了這影片。 開頭的3次啟動,是故意試的,發動了又故意把他熄火,再發動都好發動。 因為這客人車上原本有裝一套,不知誰作的,真的是不好啟動。

DWEL time VS sparks. Directely visual effect, FYI. This waveform is quite close to a 4 cylinder engine at the 6000rpm. IGT signal for 4 cylinder sequentially linked together. Quite like a dizzy ignition system at 6000rpm, that 4 igt signals are through single one coil. 點火充磁時間對所產生火花的影響,直接的視覺效果。 這點火訊號大概對應,4缸車在6000RPM時候,4個缸的點火訊號, 連續串連在一起。 好似分電盤點火那樣,4缸點火的火花都經過單一個考耳。

It won't work with the dizzy of 4A-FE. According to the sensors inside the dizzy.

引擎是3S-GE自然進氣。 請問原來車上的分電盤仍需保留?
要保留 基本的點火訊號都是ECU發出的, ECU需要分電盤內部的EPS來產生點火訊號
3S-GE的分電盤線路看來是可以作的

Hello, is this module supported on 7AFE that has two sensors on camshaft position sensor in distributor? USDM model years 1993-1995 had two sensors of the camshaft position in the distributor, while 1996-1997 USDM models had one sensor on camshaft and one sensor on crank. The one shown here seems to be the one that has one sensor on camshaft and one sensor on crank, based on other videos you posted, but I could be wrong on this assumption. I wanted to know if its supported on the older models, thanks.
This 7AFE has only sensors in the dizzy, which include the home sensor required. While I have another version of dizzy do not. I was told that dizzy is for 4AFE Corolla. Almost all old HONDA's dizzy provides the required home signal. While I found some of the Toyota's do not. Some even provide two signals, such as 4AGZE and 4AGE-20V recently processed on two AE86. Those are called G1 and G2. Not necessarily so called G signal workable, it's Toyota's definition. But in HONDA's system, the CYL signal is to work with. I am not familiar with Toyota's system. I am not able to tell which models and years can work, but the inside photo of the dizzy can tell. If the engine worth it, add a home sensor to work with is doable. I do that to a Pontiac Firebird V6 few years ago.

What is benefit of IMS?
Ignition power will throught the COPs not the dizzy. The old power ignition ignition parts will obsolete. The ignitor, coil and distributor cap are no longer require to work for the ignition. As long as the engine position sensors inside the dizzy still working consistenly the engine will run fine. All these saved the engine from the old dying ignition parts. Multiple sparks discharge can improve engine efficiency. Burnning more fule brings more torque output is the main feature of the iMS. Also make the old cars especially the iconic ones with much cleaner exhaust while having fun with.

dizzy signal and igt signal go into my controller, in which, my program calaulates the advanve timing and dwell time and then reproduce the igt signals for each cylinder, the signal timing can either atch the ecu's timing or advance or retarded, then my controller fires each COP sequentially and independently. that's it.
I also delveloped system program for 4/7A-FE , 4AGE-20V, 3S-FE, 3S-GTE. all goes alone well with Toyota's stock ECU. Some Toyota's model name might be wrong, because I am quite not familiar to the Toyota. Those Toyota's are individually requested by the shop or personally. The controller program was initiallaly developped and applied to all the old 4cylinder HONDA's for my business.

What's DFC?
DFC stands for Direct Fire Converter. DMF stands for Direct Multi Fire. My controller can do multiple fires, timing advance and dwell control. Many users would require and pay less for simply conversion of direct fire. So I make a DFC from DMF, the DFC is only function demoted with cheaper price.

There is a small controller calculating the sequence and timing to distribute the ignition signals from the ECU to the COPs.
