I’m a dancer. I’ve started putting on weight in my stomach. I’m so desperate to lose it, and have had ED when I was younger. I’m just starting your channel…I hope to get weight under control😯 I will look for L-glutamine.

L glutamine helps with digestive health. So does Life Extension - Daily Bowel Regularly it you suffer with slow transit time or constipation

Sleep, stress, diet. These are the critical elements of health. Apnea, distress and leaky gut are killers. These are VERY closely tied to autoimmune diseases.

I’m finally feeling normal, physiological hunger, with your advice. I now know that I just can’t tolerate a small amount of sugar or refined carbs. I had no idea that pufa’s were not my friend and they are in every stinking packaged foods, just about. I’m waiting for some decent weight loss and haven’t seen that yet, but feeling better is a start

I’d as your primary care physician for a referral to a medical nutritionist that works at a hospital. This guy has no education in nutrition - granted he’s done some lit searches. There’s blood work and stuff that could be more helpful for you if you haven’t tried that route already.

    Thanks for the video.
And what would you say about probiotic supplementatioon, like renewlife probiotics and things like non pasturized sauerkrauts & kim chees, like wildbrine products. Thanks

Another good vid. I used your link and bought L-Glutamine via Amazon. I have an autoimmune disease (Myasthenia Gravis) and suspect it is from my LOUSY sleep and years of being over 300 lbs. plus constant stress for years. Now at 243 transitioning from a year + on keto with intermittent fasting to the PE diet you suggest. I may even want to try some longer fasts. I want to continue my weight loss but wanted to return to limited but healthy carbs (maybe 50 g per day).

Wow! Congrats on your weight loss! That's awesome!
Have seen any changes with your autoimmune condition since you've lost the weight?
I'm a fan of fasting and think it's always worth trying. Keep up the great work!

I have been dabbling in making fermented pickles, kraut, to build probiotics in the gut . A little every day.

On a personal level, which one do you think affects your weight the most - energy imbalance, microbiome, insulin resistance, sleep, stress, or physical activity?

    • @nunyabizllc2

Do you consider whey protein powder to be artificial sweetener?

What about Gut Dysbiosis and SIBO if your Gut microbiome is not balanced, can I eat More protein or follow PE Diet?

    • @TimBurmaster
      @TimBurmaster  3 роки тому

I think one of the nice things about the PE Diet is that you can also do a low FODMAP nutrition plan simultaneously.
I'm a big believer in a low carb approach with the PE Diet and this is something I do. And in a way/by default I would say my diet is basically low FODMAP as well.
I would also avoid animal protein that contain antibiotics and try to consume as much organic, pasture-raised, or wild caught meat when possible.
