How One Guy Created THE MOST OP BUILD In Elden Ring

- Опубліковано 7 лют 2025
- Today we're talking about the newest Elden Ring Legend. An absolute TANK to the souls community that goes by " Let Me Tank Him ". From the name alone you can probably understand where he got his roots from, but if you haven't figured it out, it's Let Me Solo Her. Despite having a similar name to the original Elden Ring Legend, Let Me Tank Him has a completely different personality than Let Me Solo Her, with one of the most epic origins ever. But what exactly makes Let Me Tank Him so special and why is he gaining so much recognition lately? In short, Let Me Tank Him is the exact opposite of Let Me Solo Her and he has the one thing that Let Me Solo Her lacks. Make sure you stick around till the end of the video if you want a full answer to those questions, and a bonus at the end too.

Yes I did

I think I have, on golden hippo. but it likely wasn't, he took way too much damage
Bro you put the wrong great shield talisman up on the video that one boosts physical damage negation
Let me solo her has the mindset of a souls player, practice and effort leading to a flawless skill level.
Let me tank him has the mindset of an Armored Core player. Build the ultimate machine to counter the enemy.
Let me tank him wants the easy way out
@@CJtheBROSand it seems like he got it! 🎉
Of a ds1 player using havel set
"Easy" way out. I'll never understand the purpose of losing (hours) until you have the moves memorized perfectly instead of a shield with the scarlet rot crystal spear and only learning the grabs. Both equally effective, one is just more efficient.
Personally, I like to use the basic strgth/dex build with high guard boost for my first playthrough while the bosses can still one shot on even their quick attacks, grind to a high enough vigor/stamina/mind then do my next playthrough with my favorite build I found the first go around without dying on every hit I fail to dodge.
Let me solo her: * speedrunning mindset *
Let me tank him: " giant dad PVP mindset *
Let me solo her is the unrivaled skill of one man, whilst Let me tank him is the unstoppable power of the community
Beautiful wording
Let me tank him is the new Giant Dad
Ongbal crush let me solo her everyday
Next is let me fix her
Let Me Solo Her: The most Technical Player in Elden Ring
Let Me Tank Him: The most Competent Build Maker in Elden Ring
Now we need someone called "Let Me Run a Fade" who's the most competent PvP player in the game
Imo the closest person to that title rn is Chasethebro

why is he making this TANK build guy out to be so unique ??? I played a heavy armor shield build in elden ring when the game came out . In fact you get the 5th best greatshield right from the start in Limgrave from the knight in the first small soldiers camp close by the grace where you get the horse.
I dont even remember if it is the 5 th best shield, because i used it almost the whole game, maybe its even the second best, until i got the stone tabbeld shield ( stupid deign by the way )
Any way combined with Barricade Shield it was OP i can block all boss attacks... back then the effect lasted longer too..now i think the ashes of war is nerfed
Any way my point is this.. putting on heavy armor, getting a good shield and good talismans for defence... is nothing special.. any person with a brain can do it.
I did it and i did it all on my own, there were no tank builds back then to copy from.
So why is he making a big deal about it in his video... he sounds like he is announcing some GOD in front of us.
lol
this is a crazy outlook and such a way to say he basically the most based elden ring player
@@Martial_Autist Although it's also very similar to giant dad, it's far more similar to Havel both gameplay wise and lore wise, because that's literally Havel's lore LMAO, he created a group of people that would use his same armor and build, while giant dad is a combination of different sets of armor put together
Let me tank him is not a person, it's a build. I had already beaten the whole game with a shield build before the DLC. it was so op I 1st tried almost all the bosses. When the DLC came with the verdigris set and shield, it just increased its power. I beat and helped people with radhan and other bosses, even had named myself 'let me tank her' while helping people with malenia, to copy let me solo her. Then, a few weeks later, the video showcasing let me tank him dropped, and it revealed the power of shields to everyone.
Thanks Karen
let me tank him is the elden ring version of giantdad
we have made our own heroes

Ran this build pretty much in reg game aswell, just used bullgoat armor and fingerprint shield
Watch the next legend after let me tank him be "let me parry it"
LMAO imagine.
That's just sekiro
I've made it through the whole game (not dlc) parrying every npc and boss that is parryable. Unfortunately, the latency of many hosts make parrying almost completely impossible. I've been sunbroing with my parry build (rl 30 & rl60) for almost a year now, and 7 out of 10 times, the host's connection to me is simply not reliable enough. At high latency, you have to parry way earlier. I can do this, but enough though I get the parry, I also take the full damage of the hit. I don't have enough flasks to keep that up.
@@shadow24754in nightrein there is a character who can parry
We wait until next legend will born✊
I summoned a “let me tank him” against Radahn. Looked exactly the same. He got beat. I got beat. I have never beaten Radahn.
LET ME HELP
Lol 😂
Use the Taylew summon cheese
He uses the antspur rapier not the cleanrot knight sword.
You want a talisman that negates non physical damage as well as a big fat stamina bar. Tanking big shots requires a bunch of endurance and strength and vigor.
High endurance=no more shield problems
High Strength means heavy ram
Like the golden braid, for consort Radahn's phase 2 and 3 attacks that deal holy. I actually have a video where I tanked him with the Solitary armor, fingerprint shield and a Blood Milady. Granted, I used available NPC summons and mimic tear.
When everyone is Let Me Tank Him, no one is.
True but it also means we all carry his legacy.
That’s right

@@team2litt885 It's just baby's first Dark Souls build. You equip a shield and poking weapon (one you can use while your shield is up) so you don't have to worry so much about dodging, and you put on armor so you can take a hit. It makes the game easier so you can see what it has to offer. You swap out for better armor, shields, and poking weapons when you find them. That's literally the entire build.
We are all, "Let Me Tank Him"
@@65firered no if i was a character id be "let me hide plz kill her"
There’s a satisfaction in facing extremely powerful foes and avoiding every hit. I however find an even greater satisfaction in standing completely still as the center of the chaos and saying “Is that best you can do?” It’s the difference between being The Untouchable and The Unbreakable, The Phantom and The Mountain. I prefer the method of absolute presence.
For me, the apex of this was going in against Fume Knight in DS2 and taking mere chip damage with a shield only build, perfectly timing jump attacks so that the block frames coincided with his attacks, resulting in entirely lopsided trades in my favor. As close to perfection as you can get. Chef’s kiss.
I've had the pleasure of summoning both in my Elden ring playthroughs.
How did it go ?
@CJtheBROS it was a jaw dropping moment let me tank him joined me and killed the final dlc boss for me I just watched and was shocked he didn't budge when killing him lol 😂 let me solo her I summoned randomly and I indeed watched as he solo fought malenia.
That’s insane and very lucky! You’re probably one of the few players who experienced both these legends lol congrats

Ornstein and Smough of elden ring
Only one of them is already too powerful for a boss
Was running a very similar build before he became known.
Fingerprint Stoneshield, Tree Sentinel Armor and one of my favorite weapons: Godskin Needle with bloody infusion.
Had Stormblade on that thing just to have a ranged attack to steal aggro.
Immutable shield often wasn't necessary, NG+7 Consort and Malenia being the only exceptions really.
LMSH, the tank, and THE WALL are all legends
Surprised it took so long for people to realise how strong poke builds are. Always used a greatshield since Dark souls 1. The turtle playstyle is fun and very forgiving i enjoyed experimenting in Elden ring and ended up with the same build just with the Great lance instead massive stagger and further reach
So. I was doing a tank build with a rapier and a heavy shield in Elden Ring before the expansion. This is a very common build.
It should be noted. The author is clearly a layman in tanking. For starters, the additional absorption of physical damage is of little use. It will only be used when the player takes a direct hit. We do not receive direct hits, we hold them with a shield. There are two amulets to strengthen the shield. Both should be used on bosses. One reduces stamina consumption when receiving a hit, the second increases the absorption of elemental damage blocked by the shield. Turtle Talisman - correct. The fourth talisman is optional. The easiest way is to take resistance to Holy. If we are talking specifically about Radan, then his damage will mainly consist of physical and Holy damage. It will pass through the shield block a little, but only Holy. The armor set can be almost any. But it is better to take the one in which you will have high resistances. Physical resistance is not needed. It is 100% blocked by a shield. The build requires 50 strength for the Fingerprint Shield. It is important to remember. Why the light rapier? Because it consumes a minimum of stamina to hit. Why the Antspur rapier? Because it creates scarlet rot. Combine it with bleed and it will be a great way to kill Radan. In the footsteps of Malenia.
As for the statement of the author of the video that the roll will not be needed ... Specifically, Radan catches the player in a grab in the second phase. The first time is a warning, the second time is death. You can't block grabs with a shield. There will be problems with other bosses where the enemy creates areas that constantly deal damage or use bleed. Also, this build is absolutely useless against Malenia. She restores HP by hitting the shield.
This is a very strong build, but some bosses are very difficult to kill in it. Malenia, Fire Giant, almost all large dragons, Elden Beast. But the rest of the bosses become just an easy walk. A little patience, a couple of minutes and victory. This is a slow, very measured build in which you watch your stamina very closely.
I did a similar build before the dlc and beat malenia without using any potion. I just brute forced healing more than her. It's not useless because I beat her and helped people beat her even with her heals, I would heal more than her and out damage her self heal. Cross naginata, fingertip shield and godskin swaddling cloth taliman. The self heal after consecutive hits is amazing to heal from any chip damage and since you can thrust a lot behind the shield, your self heal proc a lot.
Ps: I read in the foruns that some update or the dlc broke this talisman and malenia rune self heal. You get the sound but not the heal. Not sure if it's fixed already.
When an unstoppable force (LMSH) meets an immovable object (LMTK)
What are you talking about, everyone who plays alot of soulssborne and elden ring, and has over 10 characters has at least one tank in his arsenal, and you know there is SCHOLAR'S SHIELD and talismans for shields and you lose little to none stamina when guarding plus you can minmax your elemental guarding before the boss....
it is NORMAL PRACTICE. why ydo you say. taking no damage or little damage is unheard of?
unheard of for who? newcommers?
shieldpoking is rated E for everyone
Two-headed Turtle Talisman only increases stamina recovery speed by 10 p/s (22.5% boost), no effect on stamina itself.
Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman does not affect guarding ability, it simply decreases physical damage taken by 20%.
he is definitely using the antspur rapier in the original video
This guy was the only reason I beat the DLC! I was so ready to give up but summoned him once and beat it with him first try. such a champ
Yo that’s sick
let me tank him joined my game and got absolutely recked by radahn
the Let Me clan grows.
with a high poise armor, bleed antspur rapier, high stamina, lord of bloods exultation and kindred of rots exultation and of course a 100 physical guard ratio greatshield you can easily kill radahn like a high health bar mob. you dont need to do exactly what he does to make the build work. it is just securing at that point.
Now we need a int/faith build and we will have a full party of legends
Facts
This build was widespread before this guy. There were tons of people who did this same thing. One guy just decided to try and become Let Me Solo Her, but the build does everything. It's completely mindless.
Ah yes the verudium shield literally just obliterates stamina damage to measly chip damage while blocking for both health and stamina
The vigor check fights back.
Comparing Let Me Solo Her to Let Me Tank Him is like comparing Heracles to Einstein.
4:00 It's actually not that hard to tank radahn with a greatshield with 100% physical and 60+% holy negation if you have enough stamina, I tried it, pretty fun build
LetMeSoloHer: watch me dodge all of her attacks
LetMeTankHim: hold my shield
And here’s me, never even did a build where I needed a shield lol
drinking game: alcohol poisoning edition
take a shot of everclear every time he says "completely different reasons"
The person, probably made it as a joke, only to be surprised it actually works very well.
Maybe they were trolling but the guy in the vid made it legendary
Dragoncrest do not boost any guarding ability it boost physical damage negation
I'd switch that with the green talisman + 3 for added stamina and just level endurance to the point I don't need the talisman for extra weight or just go for fat rolls since the point of the build is not rolling. At that point I'd use the shield talisman that makes you consume less stamina
Even if you never roll, it's good to stay in mid roll weight class because your stamina regeneration and movement speed slow down in fat roll range.
@@markvanpopering4598 didn't know
You are correct.
There is a greatshield talisman that boosts guard boost, but i figure if you're tanking you want some more physical negation on top of the biggest shield for those times you can't hold up the shield.
I noticed that he uses the Scholar's Shield on his shield, therefore you also need a staff. You don't need the Great Jar's Arsenal for that, you can reach endurance 90, or more, in a few hours if your level isn't that big, or maybe reborn if you already have a high level, so you can use that slot for something else, like a specific type of protection.
The dragon great shield talisman does not boost guarding ability that would be the actual great shield talisman does. The dragon great shield talismans reduces incoming physical damage by 20%
came down here to say this. plus, the diminishing returns on the physical damage reduction would make it not too good on a heavy armor build like this LMTH guy is using, whereas the greatshield talisman can pretty much make the bigger greatshields take low to no stamina damage from most attacks which is huge when you're attacking while guarding.
so basically we got havel and master from ds3
Damn my third time hearing of Havel. Might have to make a video on him too
@CJtheBROS I'm just waiting on the nigtrein version.
'let me carry'. Basically handles everything solo instead of relying on the team
LOL would be cool

@tanelviil9149 because he chose to tank for people and you didn't?
That's how he got to the spotlight. Same thing with let me solo her. You can name so many people who can beat mallenia without getting hit but he is doing it for the people
In DS1R, I watched a player beating Manus without avoiding his attacks in any way, he just keep walking straigh ahead, in a very menacing way, hitting the boss each time he could, and it was the boss the one retreating
After being beaten to a pulp too many times, I recreated something similar, and I finally beat Manus, no skill was required on my part so it's comforting to know that in Elden Ring, something similar can be achieved
Solo Her: Dances with Malenia.
Tank Him: Radahn's sparring dummy.
1:12 what the hell is that attack?!?!
Unalloyed Malenia(mod that brings back the unreleased Malenia moveset)
Just need "Let me heal you" and the holy trinity will be born.
The unstoppable of the trinity.
Big shield and spears (and now thrusting swords too) has always been the bread and butter of the Souls serie. It's actually the most beginner friendly build for any Souls game, while still be one of the most powerfull and consistent. If you have trouble in any Souls game, get yourself a big armor, a big shield and a big spear and voila.
Yeah, just because beginner players aren’t really that good at timing dodges
I've seen him first hand he pops up randomly outside where Concord redond entrance
Uhhhhh I beat her myself when it came out. When tf did she start using holy magic???
i guess every legend must start with "let me"
This guy helped me defeat the final dlc boss before the viral video and before he blew up. I remember freaking out bc he was just standing there then I saw he was like taking no damage . so while he tanked I ran in with my samurai to dig the biss hp bar.
This make me wanna try a tank build ngl
I had to use a very similar build to defeat Prime Radahn for the first time. While Malenia´s great rune is good, she is actually the hardest boss to beat with this build, since she heals herself so strongly. There is also another version, where you intentionally overload yourself for a different talisman, which increases your defense even more.
oddly enough let me tank him, his build is very similar to the one I built as soon as I beat the DLC after a few days after it came out. Only difference was I liked to switch between the needle for frost damage and the rot one so I can have more consistent damage. I would also bring range heal cause in most cases people would look at my name (which was "Nohelpneeded" just shorten) they would proceed to die, so I would alternate from tanking to healing them if they got low.
I'm sorry, but I dont understand. Ive played half of the game with magic and the rest with fingerprint shield as I'm very casual player and Ive tanked thru everything just as he did and I believe with how popular is this build.. thousands of players, there's nothing legendary about it. Literally holding shield while he threw everything he had and barely got scratched with very basic elden ring skills and without being walking legend.. and wearing full blaid set, not even heavy armor like he does. 90% of players can win everything with this build
Now let me solo her that is a different story completely
I don't think it's, "Misk Content." Misc is short for miscellaneous, so, "Miscellaneous Content."
Good video, though! Thank you for my first intro to Let Me Tank Him! I appreciate these legends coming forth and lending their expertise to us amateur randoms. I am speaking for myself, of course, as an amateur, lol. Outstanding.
Someone helped me looking like this and fights like him. Bro tanked Consort Radahn like it’s some random mob. 😂
Final boss for radahn:
Malenia, no
Morgott, no
Radagon, no
Elden beast, no
A dude covered trash can lids with a wall and a pointy stick, yes
Let Me Solo Her , Let Me Tank Him and Giant Dad are the holy trinity of souls games
Who would come out on top out of them tho?
The dragoncrest greatshield talisman does NOT increase guarding ability, it increases physical defense.
He also used 2 spells before entering the fight that took health away... it might have added to his damage reduction? You can see it when the guy walks in and let me tank him loses half his health.
"I'm an idea, a state of mind." -Let me tank him
Both of the legends have one thing in common: they fucked around and they found out. One fucked around with his skill and a boss while the other fucked around on his math lessons and found out how to be as sundowner said: "FUCKEN INVINCIBLE" one has brawn the other has brains.
Ongbal is so underrated let me solo her and let me tank pale in comparison to the goat
he wear max verdigis set and use swordlance bleed which has 160 bleed per hit. He use shield poke tactic, and ash of war blood themed. I would use blood tax 4 consecutive pierce thrust which return somelife percentage.
let me solo her VS let me tank him
"Their fight is going to be legendary"
ill sum it up for you because ive seen him in action the dude tanks damage like nobody's business and used bleed with a seppuku rapier and its really good boom there you go
Pretty sure this guy, or someone like him, beat Radahn for me.
many videos can show you a very good build but very good skill is something that none can show you how to achieve it
Factually wrong, you can see what skilled players do and copy and practice it until you reach that skill level. No one is born skilled, skill is not talent.
@@gubradnev6817 yeah true but everybody can copy builds but not skills thats my point i didnt mean that is talent well to some people maybe but not in general prospective
I used finger print shield and the golden order shield buff to have near 100% damage block vs Consort Radahns attacks includong the holy spam
I love the term "Tank and Shank"
Maybe the real Let Me Tank Him is the friends we made along the way.
Facts!
let me tank him - I protect my team
let me solo her - probably part battle junkie
Lol
I had solo'd every boss up until Radahn in the DLC. He always got me in phase 2. I tried several different builds and just couldnt get it right. I finally rang the bell and gave LMTH a try. 😅 First try and i bowed and cheered.
Ive fought people in coliseums with that build, and what i do is a get the cracked stone charm thing and danes footwork and i do the spin kick once and all 600 of their posture is gone and thus they die.
there is another legend who solo'd that fire snake guy from dlc 1k times. and the dragon bale he is currently solo 1k times as well.
each time he does it in another players world. like let me solo her.
he is called monoblivious
Let me Tank Him is basically the PvE version of The Wall.
i think deflecting hard tear would bee way better cus perfect blocks doesn't consume that much stamina and plus a guard counter if you got the chance
LMSH is all about skills to beat Millenia/Bosses.
LMTH is all about creativity to bully bosses.
Just shows how well balanced Elden Ring as a game.
I made a similar build all the way in early 1.10 I used a shield and the bloody helice and when I saw all this happening my face when :)
I really thought this build would use Verdigris Discus for the high Equip Load / High Defense and the Bull-Goat Talisman for Poise. :o
I must’ve summoned him when he was practicing because I summoned him a bunch of times and we kept dying but good for bro!
If I stuck with Eldenring this is the build I’d have gotten. He’s got my tank build basically down to a T.
I’m sure he’s got the dlc’s new and better armor though, but I recognize that dumb thumbprint shield which is the clench pin to any tank build.
Is this build also able to tank those optional megabosses? You know, the ones that there are videos of being able to take on a dozen Malenias at once or whatnot?
The only problem I found with my first run/tank build is that it left you vulnerable to grapples which instantly kill you.
I hope Let me Erase them catches on. They're a magic build who can use spells to one tap every boss.
The Verdigris Talisman is a better choice than the Great Jar's Arsenal.
The butt joke stops being funny after the second time, still great video.
Bro in 2030 we need the "let me beat the breast" player, the player helps kill the elden beast
this is pure nightmare fuel for giantdad
This build was how I beat the game in 2022 so I wouldn’t say he invented it
6:47 “men want to be him, women want to be with him”
Nice said lol
This characters should be in the next game as classes
Well of course let me solo her and let me tank him have very different stories. Let me solo her practiced meticulously against malenia to be nesrly untouchable to malenia. Let me tank him was just a build whipped together that any players has access to. Yes players has access to the skills of let me solo her but that requires lots of practice and dedication. Most players are just too lazy for that, they prefer builds to turn the game into easy mode and theres nothing wrong with that. It's just not right to compare a diehard player to a casual player, they are worlds apart.
Let Me Tank Him is a funny meme OP character build. Let Me Solo Her is pure unadulterated skill.
I summoned him once, it was glorious.
Solo and Tank showcase both extremes of how to "git good"
Once i wield this build and was summoned to fight Radan, another phantom too was LMTH
THE BIG 3:
LET ME SOLO HER
LET ME TANK HIM
GIANT DAD
Lol i never heard of him, but i did use this build on radahn tho , cool to know who came up with the build.
So basically he is the new giant dad. x'D
im gonna make "let me runaway from it" where i just run circles till i hit the floor 😁😁👌👌
Lmao that sounds like me
Solo him would destroy the Tank. Just saying. If they pvp.
Naked man would win. Tanks are just walls. You can wear them down with items. Destroy their armor. Naked people played the game so much they master timing the attacks of bosses and weapons in the game.
As someone who had naked builds in the past. I am actually scared to get into Elden ring. It takes a lot of time to get that good. I am not a college student/ high school student with spare time. Plus I obsessed easy.
I kinda waiting until the game popularity dies down. I can’t get obsessed with pvp if there is no one to pvp
I had a full inbox and inventory of pale tongues.
That’s how obsessed I was with fight clubs and invading. I loved being summoned into worlds and instantly being underestimated by the host. They see me wearing the dress or nothing and assume.
Quick deaths. Sometimes to warn them I drop a 100 pale tongues. Watch them pick it up and watch them roll out. Lol. Farm 100 again. Call your summons. You’ll need them.
