Hello everyone! I hope you are doing well! Thank you so much for watching! :) In the video, I said that I added 0.5oz more of the developer into the lightener but I ended up adding twice the amount. So for 0.75 oz of bleach, I added 1.50oz of the developer.
Just a suggestion. Next time you do this, try laying the “root” section of the extensions on a heating pad with very low heat to simulate how the root lifts quicker than the rest of the hair.
I feel like this is not very helpful because nobody uses that little bit of developer. It would be more interesting if you just eyeballed it like most people do. If anything I see more people adding too much developer so that would have been a more interesting experiment to me. Still love your channel and you. I do love the idea of putting on a second coat while the hair is wet, kind of like a bleach bath. I think when I do my hair I'm going to just do bleach baths once a week until I reach my desired lift. I don't mind walking around with orange hair for a week if it keeps it from frying. Ratio for most POWDER LIGHTENERS is 1 to 1.5 or 1 to 2 ( 1oz. Powder To 1 1/2 oz. Developer or 1oz. Powder to 2oz. Developer) the mixture should have a Sour Cream consistency

The Activator Powders, Accelerate, Amplify and Extend the Bleaching time to give higher, lighter lifting power and improve the Bleaching Action. Powder Lighteners we’re developed for “Special Effects” lightening like streaking, frosting and tipping. Although they have been used for full head Bleaching and newer formulas have been made for this purpose, they still don’t match a good Oil Lightener for a Full Head Bleach.
@@jimbearone I really had no idea there was another option, in addition to powder and cream lightener. I'm gonna be adding in baby lights to my already colored hair. What would be the best lightener to use for this in your opinion. I have low porosity, relatively dry hair, although it's only been colored once before. Should I use a cream, powder, clay, or oil lightener?
should i wait some time before bleaching for the second time ?
Well, If you do it on damp hair , it will be less damaging but waiting a month or so and really taking care of your hair, like using a hair treatment, not styling your hair with hot tools, to often, etc..is better for sure. Also, if you are bleaching hair twice, make sure your adding a ph bonder in the bleach. You can find a very affordable one at Sally’s.
So how many times can I applied bleach to reach the desired level. Do I have to wait a couple weeks? Or wait certain amount at time to recover the hair health ?

My hair is a natural pale brown it’s easier for me to actually stay blond hair color than it is for me to deep a dark brown or a deep red or any deep hair color doesn’t last long so eventually I go back to blond cause it’s actually easier for me to maintain than regular color
