Nope. Season 3 has been a total letdown. I want to see what's inside the forest, what the town actually is, some mystery, not more baby drama. Fatima plotline is boring and too drawn out
I’m just happy we finally got some kind of answers towards the end of the last episode. They better really give us something solid for these last 2 episodes.
They already gave alot of clues. This season we got more pieces than the last two seasons. We now know the last community tried some sacrificial ritual with the kids to gain immortality and they got their wish but turned into immortal monsters. The souls of the kids are trapped in from land and seek to go free. Fatima could produce the baby that will lead the monsters.
I think victor hacking at the tree was to draw the boy in white to him so he can ask him questions! No one ever seems to try and get the children’s attention and this might be the first attempt to do so
I think Victor was doing it because he was angry. He remembered that the boy in white told Christopher to go to the bottle tree and save the kids at the lighthouse, but he didn't because he was scared. Victor then told his mom about it and she instead went to try herself, but died. Victor is most likely filled with guilt and wants to cut the tree down before Tabitha hears about it.
In the most recent episode one of the kids saying Ankhkooey sounded off to me and along with the time travel it makes me think that it’s a distortion of “aunt Julie”. I think Julie is eventually the storyteller that gives the children hope, much like the very first scene of the series.
Here's my two-cent: what if Victor and Tabitha were intended child sacrifices who somehow escaped? Perhaps Miranda brought Victor and his sister to Fromville for safety. This could mean Henri's true goal here is to finish the ritual, or possibly that Fromville is a hidden sanctuary created by the Anghkooey folk. I mean, beside the obvious horror of the monsters, you still have strong protective powers and symbols at play : monsters only coming at night, the reliable -so far- talismans, the lighthouse, the food supply seemingly coming from nowhere, ...
I think that the Kimono Lady is going to take over Fatima body snatcher style and probably kill Elgin, then acting as Fatima she's gonna blame Elgin for killing Tillie and kidnapping her.
It's possible but it makes no sense to kill Elgin as he's helping her. Kimono lady is a spirit guide tricking Elgin to help Fatima produce the evil baby. Kimono lady spirit will then take over the baby and be born again. But we don't know if kimono lady is good or evil. Kimono lady may not be evil as we don't know her story. I'm guessing she's a victim also so is good.
Tabitha and Julie go into the cellar and the kimono lady shushes Fatima from calling out to them for help. Thought it was pretty obvious the trailer is just edited out of order, like most shows.
Martin was a marine, didn't get a look closely at the tattoo but you can tell by age what year Martin is from. The boy in white has never aged and has been there since Victor
Eion Bailey, the actor that plays Jim, must be ready to move on by now. They're not giving him anything to do, just keeping the character occupied with random tasks. Bailey has been a working actor since 1997, and I can't see him sticking around while they sideline his character. I think he's going to die this season, and they have to something with Ethan. He's rapidly out aging his character, just like the boy in white.
Man…I don’t need all of the answers but I’m hoping they end this season with something for us fans to hold on to. Not to answer all questions but at least shed a little light. Also, Jade is still my favorite character😂😂
You are one of the rare few who also love a great mystery and knows they don't need to answer everything for the show to be amazing...little answers here and there and some breadcrumbs is all we need to be happy....and honestly it makes the story way better too. Given that the titles of the next 2 episodes are Revelations chapters 1 & 2 I'm guessing there will be some answers but they will lead to bigger questions. One question I have is I have watched 5 of the EP. 9 trailer breakdown videos and not one has mentioned Jade's right eye changing color, almost like it has a cataract, kinda like a reference to the Norse god Odin.
They should set up the bear trap right at a door. And then con one of the monsters to come to the door and step in it. And then see if it can hold them to see what happens to them in the daylight. Assuming they aren't strong enough to break out of the bear trap.
Any one notice this is a big Love letter to Stephan King though? The Tower(dark tower), Children Manipulated and killed by an entity that represents a spider(IT), Monsters coming out at night(Salem’s Lot) just a few things I’ve noticed
not to mention with the dark tower it was a way to connect all his stories and “The man in black” was the over arching bad guy for his universe while this one has the “The Boy in White” Food for thought
Boyd gave up trying to catch a monster as he's got bigger problems to deal with. Also when did Ryker ever trick the Borg? Captain Picard did though many times.
