Miranda's dead, so yes, reincarnation, or at a minimum shamanic visions of Miranda's past "chosen one" life. But, I'm thinking reincarnation / karmic cycles, and Tabitha is the current shaman / "chosen one," beginning to finally awaken, after the metaphorical "shattered glass" unlocking/awakening ritual in the lighthouse (being pushed through the window).

I really appreciate you being ok with story lines fully developing and things not being rushed. I love FROM. I’ve been watching since season 1. I’m not so eager for every question answered right now because that would mean the end. I understand and respect that others feel differently but I’m ok with it.
Thank you for good things you said about character development in the show. I think this is lost on most critics who claim the show is too slow and doesn't know where it's going. I beg to differ. Nice to have both excitement and characters you want to root for.
I could seriously watch 10 seasons of the show at this pace and still be happy with it, so I agree with you. People are just latching on to what the show was in the first couple episodes and not allowing it to expand into something bigger and better. You can only make so many episodes of talismans & monsters knocking on the window.
I agree, but to me Fatima, Ellis and Elgin are boring and shallow characters. Even with such a good performance from the actors part, their scenes drag. I'm hoping this storyline ends and we can follow the other characters more closely
Well critics aren't wrong. This is another nothing burger episode where basically nothing happens but bunch of people wandering the woods doing some relationship bonding. This show likes to drag out the mystery. Expect the final episode to add more mysteries and questions.
Excellent write up. I especially like your noting the character development, Jim’s in particular. I think Tabitha is Miranda reincarnated & I’ve thought this all along. It’s either this or the spirit of Miranda is trying to communicate with Tabitha. Either way, it’s not Eloise.
I think Sara exposes Elgin and when they discover where he hid Fatima, she's not there when they arrive since Kimono Lady took her through the trap door to the monsters for the demon baby's birth. Boyd goes into the tunnels to save her. That's my take from the previews
Tabitha & Victor: I feel like tabitha could be Victor sister. how? well remember that after victor mom left them both hidding. his little sister went after her and victor stayed all by himself. So what about smiley kill their mother, the little girl tabitha saw her mom dead she got scared ran and wanted to hide insde one of the threes but end up transported outside town?. And grown tabitha she thinks is a nightmare, but in reality is not. is part of her past memory when she was in the town?. that vision that we saw of her by the red rocks when she was little and she got scare by something. maybe she kept on looking for her mom or after runing for a while the sun started to came up and she saw something that got her scare and started to run and she wented to hide and went through one of the threes?. once outside her memory some how got erase and she got adopeted and they gave her the name tabitha?.
Henry clearly stated while in his basement with Tabitha that Miranda was able to have visions of the past lives of all those who tried to save the children before her. This is what is happening to Tabitha as she sees a vision of Miranda’s death.

Acosta replaced the guy from Colony House that got his throat slashed. Henry replaced Tien Chen. So we've gone an entire season short a minimum of two people. Tilly makes three. Maybe we'll see the Man In Yellow arrive in town next episode?

I think thier going for the reincarnation thing with Jade and Tabitha. Think about the fact that they arrived in town the same day just like Christopher and Miranda maybe the reincarnations always arrive the same day starting a kind of cycle because things got real when the Matthew's and Jade arrived. Also the bracelets they were three mentioned the one Tabitha made for Jim which was lost,the one she found in town and the one she found in Henry's car. The one found in the car was made by Miranda meaning the one found in town belonged to Miranda's predecessor or the previous incarnation. Maybe all the reincarnations make the same bracelet for the husband's.

Tabitha has never seen the painting in Ellis' room- and that's definitely Miranda's style. Ellis doesn't paint- he draws. And he draws in a realistic style. Ellis also has an untapped connection to Fromville through his art- one of his drawings is of the Lighthouse lens. I doubt he realizes what he drew.

If you notice too his arms are gray for some reason. Don't know the importance of it....but he appeared to be more weak for some reason. He also appeared to have aged some since his last appearance.

I think Tabitha was seeing what happened to Miranda. Victors father said Miranda could see the different chosen people, something like that. Maybe these chosen people are all similar but still different people. I think she pushed Julie away because if she touched her she may see something terrible that will happen to her. Her visions seemed to come when she touched someone or something.
Maybe, but to have an intense emotional reaction like Tabitha did suggests a bit more than her simply seeing a vision, especially with her saying “that’s impossible” to herself. I think it’s more likely she’s Eloise, they have been foreshadowing it since season 2
She's Miranda, and was "experiencing" the memory of being chased/gored by Smiley. Julie had said that when she had visions in the ruins, it wasn't just like a "memory" it was like she was "there" and "felt" it. IMO, that was foreshadowing of Tabitha's "experiencing" Miranda's memory, basically living / feeling it. IE, she **experienced** getting un-alived by Smiley, which was horrifying, and she was having instant PTSD about her previous death, which was why she was telling everyone to "stop touching her." Absolute PTSD/trauma response... She was Miranda, and now she knows it. She got got... And it wasn't pretty...

Nah, pretty sure Jim's is literally just lost. And was just an "echo" of Miranda's original(s). Miranda made two, IMO, one for her, and one for Henry. Hers ended up in Fromville after she died, and was the one Tabitha found in the diner back room. Henry's remained in his car glove box as a memento / "Lover's Token" by which they might recognize one another after a long parting (as it the trope in stories & songs of "parted lovers").

One thing is a good scene like Boyd and Kenny's and another very different thing is the cheap character drama filler used to stretch an acutal 7-ep season up to a 10-ep one, this seen massively especially between ep 5 and 7. Now you see a good scene and jump with the human stuff to justify the previous crap, though you didn't mention it in ep 7 when the crap reached its maximum level.

Tabitha’s dream as a child is different person from the Eloise we see in the cellar and pictured at Henry’s home. Tabitha has more in common with Miranda. Both created the bracelet for their husbands and share the same song

And I'm pretty sure the "ghost-children" are saying some version of "Angakkuit!" ("Shamans!" [the plural form of "Angakkuq"]) Thus identifying her role in the story as a "shaman" or "chosen one" and "one of many" [a literal and linguistic "plural-ity"].

Ellis doesn't paint- he draws. And he draws in a realistic style.

If you notice too his arms are gray for some reason. Don't know the importance of it....but he appeared to be more weak for some reason. He also appeared to have aged some since his last appearance.

I think Tabitha was seeing what happened to Miranda. Victors father said Miranda could see the different chosen people, something like that. Maybe these chosen people are all similar but still different people. I think she pushed Julie away because if she touched her she may see something terrible that will happen to her. Her visions seemed to come when she touched someone or something.
Maybe, but to have an intense emotional reaction like Tabitha did suggests a bit more than her simply seeing a vision, especially with her saying “that’s impossible” to herself. I think it’s more likely she’s Eloise, they have been foreshadowing it since season 2
She's Miranda, and was "experiencing" the memory of being chased/gored by Smiley.
Julie had said that when she had visions in the ruins, it wasn't just like a "memory" it was like she was "there" and "felt" it.
IMO, that was foreshadowing of Tabitha's "experiencing" Miranda's memory, basically living / feeling it. IE, she **experienced** getting un-alived by Smiley, which was horrifying, and she was having instant PTSD about her previous death, which was why she was telling everyone to "stop touching her." Absolute PTSD/trauma response...
She was Miranda, and now she knows it. She got got... And it wasn't pretty...

One thing is a good scene like Boyd and Kenny's and another very different thing is the cheap character drama filler used to stretch an acutal 7-ep season up to a 10-ep one, this seen massively especially between ep 5 and 7. Now you see a good scene and jump with the human stuff to justify the previous crap, though you didn't mention it in ep 7 when the crap reached its maximum level.

I feel like Fatima! would give birth, then the kimono lady grabs the baby herself or a monster would come up from that ground secret door grab the baby take it down and bring it to that room that we see all the monster gather in the trailer. maybe the kimono lady thats her lair/ chamber and shes weak she needs the baby?. also if fatima belly grew that fast i feel like either the baby would come as a baby form and grow quickly by the days or it would come out already as a grown person version?.

More than likely she is the reincarnation of Miranda [metaphorically or literally; depending how they play it in the show's narrative; either way, the result is basically the same, for all intents and purposes]. She is clearly this generation's Miranda. IMO, she' basically the reincarnation, and fulfilling the same "shaman / "chosen one" role.
Jade is this generation's Christopher, and the other half of the Cromenockle / "chosen one" duality.
Both arrived on the same day in separate cars [which is "special" according to Victor]. And per the foreshadowing from season 1 "Maybe there's TWO Cromenockles!" there are indeed two. Which sort of makes sense with the day/night duality of the talismans, and the show in general.

Tabitha, Abby, Miranda and all the prior failed "chosen ones" Miranda saw in visions are pat of basically a karmic reincarnation cycle [similar to, and probably a loosely retold fable of, the Inuit shaman "Qiviuq"], all trying to move the ball down the field to the end goal of "saving the children" and completing the "hero's journey" (over many karmic incarnations).
I believe it's an Inuit tale because the stone construction in the caves (broken, as a test for Tabitha to prove she's one of the line of "shamans") is an Inuit "Inuksuk," and Ethan building it summoned them as observers of Tabitha's progress on her journey, then rebuilding it herself "passed" their test, so they came out of the woods, laid on hands, and recognized her by the appellation "Angakkuit!" ("Shamans!" [plural of [Angakkuq]]), or one of many shamans who've come to Fromville, "chosen" to try to save them. I believe that's how we're meant to narratively read that interaction and thus the core narrative of the show [as a "loose" retelling of the reincarnational narrative of "Qiviuq"].
I think it isn't an coincidence that the From producers casted a Spanish actress with an accent... I think it's gonna count for something.

I suspect she still has to complete her "vision quest" and trip balls on "magic mushrooms" [foraged by Randall in the forest, per his "joking" foreshadowing conversation with Julie in the forest on the way to he ruins], recreating Miranda's "acid trip" metaphorical "vision quest" under the tree in the park with Henry, which is when/whee her visions started.
I suspect Miranda will take 'shooms in the center of the 7 boulders Father Khatri used to meditate inside of, as a "sacred space," and have her own "vision quest" / " awakening" / "opening the third eye" moment. [Referenced on Julie's tshirt in the opening episodes of the series and seen a few times since, with the sheep or whatever with the "3rd eye" open. The other "end in the beginning" reference, aside from Miranda's "beginning" tripping balls under the tree in the park.]
I figure once she completes her own "vision quest" she'll be able to more easily / fully access the "ancestral memories" or "commune with ancestors" to get answers about Fromville, see what the ancestors have already done, and figure out what to do next. Like finding Miranda's/Victor's map ["...of the Rainbow Sky"] in Victor's [the "Lonely Dragon's"] box truck ["cave"]. And perhaps with the help of the "ancestors" [Miranda?] she can interpret the map and all the cryptic chicken-scratch all over it [numbers, moon phases, etc.].
