Gain increased grenade regen when Overshielded, able to refresh Overshield with a melee, unpowered melee while Overshielded now counts as powered and deals increased damage and has increased range, AND heal from Volitile Explosions? All in one Aspect?! That's a lot. That's a lot a lot. Not to mention, what would fill the void, pun not intended, that combining the two would leave behind?
At least buffed. Controlled needs to give 5% ability energy on volatile explosions with a 2-3 second cooldown. Offensive Bulwark needs to give overshield in some way. Maybe melee/grenade kills? Edit: It should give a full overshield on Void Breach pickup.
Manticore and Vexcalibur also good for this build. Both weapons make instant free infinite void overshields. For bigger content like raids you can run Deterministic Chaos for healing and weaken for your team during damage phases. Travelers Chosen also good because throwing grenade makes it void which has synergy with Volatile Rounds, and the sidearm will further juice your ability spam. When using travelers chosen you can use a heavy hitting energy special weapon like velocity baton, glacioclasm, nessa's oblation, wilder flight, or a void sniper like embraced identity. Been running this build and a mask of quiet one prismatic build spamming stasis crystals and consecration but probably going to go back to pure void with the ignition bug.
@@zekerdeath oh I agree deterministic chaos is trash except as a support weapon only on void titan. everyone cooking you for using quiet one on the subclass that gives free devour, but i’m going to point out something arguably more important: echo of expulsion applies volatile, and volatile rounds are arguably the *most* important on void titan, so not using those fragments is such a loss.
Echo of Instability + a weapon with destabilizing rounds just seems to be an unnecessary overlap while running Controlled Demolitionist. Could probably run Remnants, Harvest, or even Reprisal to get more benefit out of a slot.

I find this a little funny this comes across my feed, for the pure fact i've been running this exact build on my titan, WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYY before this update. About a year or two now since lightfall. Void is my homestay subclass, it's what I felt comfortable on. And mask was always my favorite exotic to run. The only echo I had to change for this season was Starvation for Cessation. That and PP(Perfect Paradox) to make use of this seasons artifact mods. You have all three champ types.
I have been using a build similar to this with fighting lion since it applies volatile on direct hit now. You combine that with the weaken effect on bosses from the artifact, you can free up a couple slots in the fragments.
You should try severance enclosure on void as well. It is nice with the invisibility and volatile finisher fragments and the bulwark finisher class item mod gives void overshields. I think with the finisher artifacts, it will be even better. It is fun to make everything volatile and explode everywhere.
now i know why i was losing out on kill counts with other players running that helmet!! LOL thank you...i'll be testing my version of your build tonight...peace
If i run this build i'd use Veles-x. 2 main reasons why is that like elsies rifle it has repulser brace in the 3 trait slot and in 4 trait slot you can chose between kill clip and golden tricorn. 2nd reason is that it has the vanguards vindication origin trait for that little bit more healing which i prefer because my play style is combining strong damage and staying alive at the same time. Veles is also a 4 burst pulse which is my favourite frame for pulses
Devour is a fragment on void, Mask of the quiet one is a total waste on that subclass. It’s S-tier on prismatic and finally fixes a massive problem with that subclass.
One thing about Devour: you misspoke. Bungie made it so that base Devour only heals a set amount of health, and only when using Feed The Void is Devour an instant heal.
You said that not to use prismatic because none of the aspects are related to a grenade but the new Aspect is literally using your grenade. Combine that with the fence about work I need this helmet and you’ll never have to worry about it recharging
For this and and Doom I run Graviton Lance. Lance provide void weapon surgers on kills and Mask provide void. So just depends which I want to focus on, survivability or damage.
This build is actually really crazy on prismatic. I paired appetence with demo & headstone with fortunate star with repulsor and destabilizing.. I lucked out with a 500 draw time and I get such quik kills and get my super & prismatic charge so fast! The devour and overshield are incredible.. Really really fun build!
It’s great that Bungo is finally embracing the “it’s not a bug it’s a feature” mentality around PvE balancing. Let us be our canonically OP selves in PvE. Let us wreck absolute havoc with abilities and regen.
Ive been using this build but replace bulwark with bastion and then i use fighting lion aswell. I agree that it probably isnt meta or anything but its one of the funner builds i own (Along with my void mothkeepers and void contraverse builds)

I’ve never felt like Devour was hard to access with Sentinel Titan before Mask got its rework. Doomfang + Choir just feels so right, I can’t sign on unless it’s for a Prismatic build

Before void 3.0 and the overshields, they basically were.
Controlled Demolition is one of Titan’s single strongest aspects, after Banner of War, on its own
