Hello! I store jars with the lids on. So easy to find :)

I do too! Believe it or not, these are my extras - though truth be told since I don't do canning, I probably could get rid of the metal rings and just use the plastic lids which I prefer.

Good morning! I really like the jar for the tea and coffee! I use an old coffee jar for my coffee! I need to do the same with my tea! ☕️

Thanks. I like these fun old jars too. Wasn’t sure what to do with them but finally figured it out.

Hello from the Bay Area in California. My jar lids are collecting too.

This jar lid situation is ridiculous. It’s like hangers in the closet. However just when I think about throwing them away I find an urgent need for one.

Oxygen absorbers will prevent brown sugar clumping.
I have used moisture absorbers out of pill bottles too.
Or you could try taking Jelly jars and mixing your oats and brown sugar together in the jar as single servings and then when ready to eat just add hot water or hot milk, return lid shake let sit a bit, remove lid and eat.
But don't add liquid till ready to eat.
    Like overnight oats.😉

I have really struggled with the brown sugar issue. I wonder if it’s weather related? I’ve seen these clay inserts that you soak in water then put in the jar. I am finding that I have the same probes with salt. Hard as a rock.

wouldn't it be great if jars were standard sizes? at least the lids.... i still have to say, i love that ribbed round jar. i've always liked the bail top jars too. nothing beats being well stocked with what is needed, small jar for the counter, big jar for stock. another warm day here. 92 predicted but 99 on wednesday. enough is enough, right? hoping to get things done today, if my back is willing - a bit tweaky this am. my eye is still red but hoping it starts to fade a bit. take care, be good to you.

Uniformity in jar lids would be great! Canned food sizes are pretty predictable why not jats? Much less waste. Glad you are on the mend.
