Im very new. I'm still learning the culture. I was surpised to see how many beginners are trying to fight/spar as soon as possible and have to be advised against it. I love the sport. I love the feeling of moving my body in new ways, being completely in the present moment, and improving at something that felt impossible just a few days ago. The idea of getting brain damage, severe dental issues, and lifelong chronic pain from injuries terrifies me. The gym I go to is very clear that they do not train beginners with the goal of fighting as soon as possible. Apparently that leads some people to choose a different gym. I'd find it really sketchy if they were any other way. They actually care about my safety and want me to see the benefits of the art.

Land a lot of hits and make sure your opponent doesn’t
stay calm, listen to your coaches, I've got fights of my own recorded on video so you can learn from that hopefully ua-cam.com/video/mZqyNb_LjNg/v-deo.html

Yes you can definitely start running
I'm 31, and just started I hope it's not to late for me 🙏 not in terms of competing but In terms of bring able to change to a healthy life style after years of wouldn't say the worst abuse of my body but still I haven't looked after myself

I can't wait to learn in Thailand!! Also I get to learn another language and Improve what I know right now
yeaaa that's the right mindset, thai's a tough language though but you'll get so much out of it.
Thanks for the vid. I made the theory already, after 2 lessons I claim the rule not to hurt yourself which I didn't manage to achieve. :D

Hey Sean, it's cool you included non-binary people in your intro. Much appreciated and very thoughtful of you!
I try to keep it inclusive ;)
I just started Muay Thai and I love it. The idea of moving to Thailand and learning everyday for hours on end sounds amazing. But if I were to do that, would I need much more experience before I do? What are the prerequisites of moving there to fully immerse ?
5:52 that small puppy running around ♥️♥️♥️
6:02 there's another I'm dying 😭😭😭
It's the cutest little doggo
