Hey Phill, I just came here to say thank you because with you videos I made it and just got my B2 certificate. I am currently preparing for the CAE, would you please make a video about passive voice? I am stuck with this. Thank you again
Hello, Phil! Thank you for this enlightning video. Everything was clear and comprehensible. But one thing is still fuzzy to me so could you work it out, please. Do we have to put a comme after "Hi" in the greetings. Should it be "Hi, David, " or "Hi David,"? Which option is correct?
I'm not quite sure what you mean with 'the exam's topic'? You don't need to write an address in a letter or the recipients email address or anything like that, but at the end of the text you should sign with your name (e.g. "Best wishes, Phill."). Perhaps you can explain what exactly you mean so I can help you a bit better. :)
Unfortunately, I don't know anything about the SELT exam. You should try to find information about the different tasks and then see if you can transfer the ideas I present in my video.
how you are not popular yet? great content, high-qualitative video. keep up the work!
Thanks a lot. I''ve only started on UA-cam a couple of months ago, but you can help me spread the word. :)
I'm from mozambique, I love watching and listenting to teacher phil's soft soothing voice. It puts me to sleep extremely efficiently :)))))
Haha, I have never thought about my voice in that way, but perhaps I should start a second channel. :)
Pretty useful not only students but also for teachers. Honestly, I got clear understanding to teach my students.

That's amazing news! Great to hear that you passed B2 First. I'm currently working of different videos and one of them is about the passive voice. :)

"Hi David, ..." is perfect.
@@teacherphill I got you! Thank you!
AWESOME!!!
Thanks!! :)
Should i write "from: xxx" "to: xxx" at the beginning of an email?
No, you don't need to do that. Just start with 'Hi Phill, ...'.
I have a question. What happens if we write over 200 hundred word? Will we be deducted?
You might lose some marks if you write more. The word limit exists for a reason so try to stay within that limit to be on the safe side.
We can't mention our names in the exam's topic, can we ?

@@teacherphill Thank you for your help I fully understood 😊
teacher phill capoooo
ok, but how do we write a letter of complaint, apology, application, invitation ect ?
You follow the same structure and simply adapt the letter to the topic. You only have to change the content.
Can i use this skills for English test (selt exam B2)
Unfortunately, I don't know anything about the SELT exam. You should try to find information about the different tasks and then see if you can transfer the ideas I present in my video.
Do we need to write the subject in the email?
No, you don't. Simply start with 'Hi Phill,' and continue from there.
can you guide me about language cert B2 LEVEL TEST PLZ
You can watch my other videos and go to teacherphill.com where I have lots of articles about B2 First.
should i write a title?
No, you don't need a title in an email or letter? Would you do that in your own language?

Thank you. I'm happy you find my tips helpful. :)
