It's hard for an old guy me to look at these kids sometimes - but their musical ability at such a young age - each one a master at their disciplines - is hard to ignore!!!! These kids are great! I hope they start getting the global recognition they have worked hard for and deserve. I will be the first one to buy tickets to go see them if they ever make it to the States. Well done Unlucky Morpheus - well done indeed! Bravo!

While Yuki/Shiren have always written strings/violin parts in his songs from the very beginning, it is indeed very good to have Jill in the band who can actually perform pretty much everything they wrote. Having the strings being performed on actual instrument by a human is something that I've always hoped the band could get since he started the band. Good job Shiren and Fuki for managing to get these amazing band members. Jinya, Jill, Fumiya and Ogawa, all of them are amazing!

I can imagine someone hearing both versions of Eruption for the first time, and thinking this was the original.
What an amazing performance! I know Ogawa cheekily calls these Quadratum sessions Jill's opportunity to show off -- and she does! -- but in all honesty, *all* of these musicians are tremendously talented. As always, Fumiya is outstanding on the drums, and Jinya and Ogawa are more than just supporting actors. Nevertheless, the main focus is Jill -- I know that's where my attention always goes! Just fantastic!

THAT. WAS. PURE. PERFECTION!!!! Every musician played their respective parts FLAWLESSLY!!! The violin filling in for the keyboards in the unisons almost seems completely natural. The synchronicity and timing were simply sublime! I could listen to these virtuosos play ALL DAY!
They just uploaded a hour and a half concert so u can watch that on repeat lol

変拍子が頻発するし、そのへんのクラシックの室内楽より合わせるの難しそう。 しかも暗譜！！

この曲の難しさは、まずこの曲をやろうと言ったときにこの曲の魅力を理解していて賛同するメンバがいること、全員が挫折せずに練習を細部までやりきってくること、合わせたときに客に見せられるレベルになるほど全員が高度な演奏技術を持ってること、いろんな条件があってライブでやるバンドはほぼないんだよね。バイオリンに変換するだけでもすごい苦労があったと思う。このバンド知らなかったけど、メンバーに恵まれてると思う。

Apparently Herman Li has said he'd like to have Ankimo on his stream, hope he reaches out to them for that because it's be a great opportunity to catch some more attention from Western rock/metal fans

@@andyy2857 quite possible, considering they are some of their most watched videos and the ones which have gotten the most attention from rock/metal magazines online and I only heard this from a post on r/unluckymorpheus which I replied to but didn't fully read so I reccomend asking there to know for sure.

Ne Obliviscaris also had violin IIRC. Nowadays there's Morfonica but they are more rock than metal.
@@Ausemere going back in time to the 70s you had Jean-luc Ponty doing stuff with Return to Forever and Mahavishnu Orchestra and Robbie Steinheardt in Kansas. Both were more prog rock and jazz influenced, but definitely some proto-metal in a few tracks.

流石に怪物級と称される程の演奏力・・・圧倒されるどころか征服されてしまいそうな程の迫力と素晴らしさです。
私はCDよりも素晴らしく感じました。スタジオでは得る事のできないライブの緊張感と高揚感が名演奏を生んでいるようです。
バイオリンの弓が切れても何事も無かったように演奏を続けるJill・・・そしてメンバーの素晴らしい集中力と爆発力。
是非とも豊洲PITでもお願いします。

、カバーなんて…って思ってた。
勿論、曲のトリビュートとしての完成度もすごいが、序盤のバイオリンでもってかれる。
ライブにおける再現度とアレンジ、そこに交じる演者の温度感ってすごく重要ですよね。
だって、この曲はアンキモさんのライヴでやってるけどDreamTheaterの曲で、この曲で盛り上がるというより、自身の練習曲であったりその参考にすることが絶対的に多い中で、モニターを通して感情を動かされるって本当に凄いことだと思うから。
(アンキモさん目当てで会場にいる人でプレイヤーじゃない人は「ポカーン」ってなる類の曲ですよね)
Jillさんの配信で何度も拝見しましたが、やっぱりライヴでの演奏はかっこよすぎて、何度も見てしまいました！高画質でカメラも台数あって、最高すぎます！！
海外ファンまた増えそうですね、日本の誇りです！
