On the one hand, Sheev is gone. On the other, the Empire will be lead by a group of inco-actually, that's what's already happening, a Stormtrooper Shogunate would be objectively better than the Empire.
I never knew that Ddroid Ventress trashed from the micro-series was so important. But if Legends and series like the Clone Wars have shown us, every character has a rich history and a role to play in Star Wars.
In Star Wars, there are no minor characters, even those shmucks that cleaned the bathrooms on Death Star. LOL.
What's the story about them? I'm curious now. How could such people be important to the fate of the galaxy--because they obviously were.

Because while he still had the blueprints for the droid, his engineers didn't remember the fine-tuning they had done to turn those blueprints into an actual droid, and enough time and money had already been sunk into the project. Either that or plot convenience.
The Galactic Republic’s was a massive spanning government that had several different fighting forces within its armed forces. The Clone Wars were fought by normal citizens, clones, and droids, but since the Confederacy of Independent Systems used so many battle droids they are often remembered as the only government that used battle droids in the Clone Wars. The Galactic Republic’s used droids to shore up the defenses against their enemies, but they weren’t as reliable enough compared to organic troopers. Though using battle droids alongside several organic troopers is still a affective tactic during the Clone Wars.

I wish we could get another clone wars series that focuses on the regional armies and Republic droids! And even a Jedi idk remember who, who hired his own band of mercenaries and bounty hunters to fight the CIS.

Just the theoretically plausible. For example, we have combat medics; is it possible that there were droids that were both First Degree & Fourth Degree because they were combat medical droids? I’ve seen B1 Battledroids as Firefighters, so what does that make these Firefighting B1s?

You forgot the greatest Republic Battle Droid: M1-4X.
Man I love that intro, it always takes me back.
Honestly, I get it was part of palpatine's greater scheme that the clone army be created to take care of the jedi but using droids that are combat ready right off the essembly line seems alot more logistically sound especially since clones had to be raised, fed and trained for 10 years on the government's doll and were actually way more expensive individually than even very high end battle droids like the bx commando droids.
Also there's no reason you couldn't have droids pull off order 66 or straight up grapple with their jedi commander before self destructing like a suicide bomber if needed. I've always found it weird that the republic transitioning into the empire actually phased out automation instead of leverage it more.
Capital ships of the imperial navy were deliberately designed to require more and more manpower with the likes of manual gunners that don't even have shit like fire control systems like we have in our rl world to the point where imperial star destroyers had to be ditched by imperial remnants after the battle of scariff for lighter ships like moff Gideon's light crusier cause larger vessels became impossible to fully man or resupply.
For my personal army I will have Commando Droids as infiltrators and to heló clean buildings, droidekas as shields and cover against infantry fire for my organic droids thanks to its shields and B2 battle droids for some extra fire
Edit: Actually I will rather have the SD-10 battle droids since it leaves the B2 as a fat B1

My question always was this: Why didn't more neutral planets to help bulk up their military buy/build their own battle droids?
I would guess two things 1 people in the republic could’ve had a stigma towards battle droids the same way din djarin hates droids because of his own experiences and 2 the lazy exscuse palpie controlled everything and that might not be what he wanted so he could’ve pulled strings to make that really difficult

It seems to me like they're really painting themselves into a corner by requiring every single franchise across every single medium to be linked to Canon. They should really do a non Canon and follow G series. Each season could be its own self contained Legends story arc drom different Star Wars eras. It would afford a far greater degree of creative liberty without conflicting with Canon. They are sitting on an untapped gold mine of content which they refuse to use.

That was mu question for quite some time now: why didn,t the Republic simply used the fortune they spended on clone army purchase to build up a chepper droid army. I mean I know that clones and their chips were essential to Sidious plans for order 66 and all, but droids could have well served the same pourpose. Also, as Republic was in a dire sytuation for most of the war, it would make sense that some senators would decide to support the GAR with such a force.
But then again, Lucas had his vision...
