I find it ironic Third Man Record partnered with a different company for a 3 spring pedal verb. But this one seems to be more controllable, more options and practical. The ThirdMan one by Ana Sounds is a more simplistic preamp over the top cave like one, that can do normal spring at low settings. I wonder why they didn’t collaborate this time around? I think it’s cool getting these kinds of pedal. As most don’t want digital reverb all the time, and not everyone likes their amps reverb. Plus the pedals with springs on the market before this year were huge in size! I like the idea a lot!
I had it and sold it. Now I’m jonesing for another analog reverb. The V2 white whale looks interesting, so does the Spruce effects Yosemite. May get rid of my Dark World to trade for this but then again digital delay doesn’t bother me too much. My El Capstan has the favorite switch for a really nice wet spring reverb. So many options.
Ive had this pedal for a few months now and argued with myself as to whether i actually like it(or need it, since both my valve amps have a spring reverb built in). Its one of those pedals that makes everything before it sound just that little bit better. About as versatile as you can get for an analog reverb, lots of options in there(and the basic spring sound is superb). Im sure I'll still be arguing with myself as to whether i need it months down the line....
True Leigh, we are sometimes too quick to move things on and get the latest "must have" pedal. I will say also that the Light excels in adding subtle harmonics, and it can particularly add something new running other pedals into it. Certainly the most unique reverb I've used!

If you’re ever in doubt about gear you need, the answer is always yes! At least that’s how I justify it to myself… 😂 if you like it, it’s worth having
