2 Things I should have mentioned in the video, I don''t believe Edo Hiruzen is faster than Tobirama as we don't know at what point hiruzen moved or how far he was to save Naruto making the feat variable, with Minato being out of Chakra, the other being Hiruzen having the feat of going for an Hour against Orochimaru, this is a good showing I just believe it's not a good indicator of a fight vs anyone else since that fight turns into a Tug of War with Hiruzen resolving himself to die making it so it's less of a "fight" and more of a will vs will type of deal, with Hiruzen being resolved to die in that fight regardless, which even concedes. Just me but, thought I'd address those points
Orochimaru and Hiruzen were evenly matched during that one hour fight while mostly going all out after he got resolve amp (obviously you can't show that in anime in real time due to pacing issues but we have statements). For someone of that age those are some impressive stamina feats further proving his incredible chakra control

Yeah Edo Hiruzen and Edo Itachi are like the main profiteers of Edo tensei's chakra regen.
They both had powerful abilities that just took too much chakra for thrm to use to their full potential (Amaterasu and Tsukyomi are like 30 percent of Itachis chakra pool. Sarutobi could barely make 2 shadow clones anymore) and in the war arc they just could go nuts.

I wanted to mention that shisui got poisoned by a member of the aburama clan before he fought danzo and while he fought danzo he was paralyzed
Also danzo pulled forbidden Uchiha jutsu over a standard sharingan genjutsu y would shisui ever expect that . That same Justu tricked hashirama probably in sage so it's not really an anti feat .
Hiruzen's Enma staff probably cracks susano seeing as how it could push the full 9 tails out of the village.

Pushing something back =\= damage done….Kurama sustained virtually no damage at all. Hiruzen could push Sasuke back in a similar manner, but that doesn’t mean it would breach Susanoo.

I wouldn't necessarily expect it to change much, but Danzo might be able to seal the weaker versions of the edo hokages' movements with his curse mark he used on Sasuke as he seemed to be able to place it quite quickly
He might also be able to escape from the barrier with Izanagi (I don't know if it would contain it, but he might try if things got dicey somehow)

Well I any case, Orochimaru negs Danzo with low to mid diff. Danzo can use izanagi all he wants to, Orochimaru is going to figure out and toy with him. Plus, Orochimaru is just on that level.
As for the Hiruzen vs Sasuke I would say that Hiruzen is going to talk with Sasuke while they fought. Now Hiruzen isn't no slouch so it'll probably be an even fight? I guess. But I do believe that if Hiruzen pulls out Enma, Sasuke is getting scrubbed. In addition, even if he dies Hiruzen will admit to himself that he failed both Itachi Naruto and Sasuke equally
Is better with taijutsu and ninjitsu to such a level that he beats 3 kage level characters at the same time. The only remark we have about weakened edo is that the strength of their chakra, not their skills or physical ability was weakened.
Hiruzen is simply far more skilled and experienced than the first two hokage

I’m sick and tired of the “Hiruzen wasn’t that strong” Argument. He fought 1st hokage, 2nd hokage, and Orochimaru. “Oh but their powers were nerfed and that Edo Tensai wasn’t that good”. Show me the statement that says that? Not what you see on Panel because i could excuse that away too, “oh they knew certain abilities wouldn’t work on Hiruzen so they didn’t even try to use them.” Hiruzen used shadow clones and reaper death seal. Essentially he found a hack to abuse reaper death seal that the uzumaki and minato never even thought to do.
It’s more so that the eco tensei wasn’t as developed with inferior bases. Kabuto perfect the jutsu with orochimaru taking intel about it from kabuto

I don’t think the Shisui section was very fair. There isn’t any concrete scaling to say for absolute certain that Shisui would straight up blitz, especially since the material varies heavily on how easily Danzo was able to take out his eye.
Hiruzen remained relevant during the war, and while it may not be evidence that he’s faster than Tobirama, Hiruzen was still able to rescue Naruto.
Since this fight happens around 10 years in the past, and Hiruzen had the kind of fighting fit to take on the 9 Tails one on one, I think he has the chakra to deal with Shisui. Since Shisui simply failed to repel Danzo, and didn’t lead with Kotoamatsukami in any of the material, I think, in-character, it is likely that Hiruzen would have many win conditons.

I think the lack of understanding of the greatness of hiruzen falls down to writing , like kishimoto blew the scales up from relative ninjutsu to chakra avatars and nukes when the realistic durability of the bodies involved isn’t high .
Didn’t Edo Hiruzen defeat guru guru zetsu that was stalemating the current kage + remaining allied shinobi forces? Sure the edo gave Hiruzen greater stamina than he had before, but neither his speed or AP received a buff. 5KS Sasuke was relative to the Raikage who was unable to blitz the same enemy Hiruzen was reacting to.
Personally, I assume Hiruzen was mentally nerfed while fighting Orochimaru and I would point to Hiruzen failing to capture Orochimaru previously for the same reason.
No way is Sasuke stopping an amped Hiruzen driven to prevent another shinobi war, but when Obito steps in it’s over.

He's downplayed because of a lack of feats,but it's impressive. A 10 year younger 3rd is stronger than orochimaru and as an old man he's holding his own while fighting the first 2 kage but lol, we've never seen this
If Hiruzen had wanted Orochimaru dead in their battle during Konoha Crush the Third would have blitzed Orochimaru. Imagine him coming in thinking Hiruzen is weak, only to get clapped and realize his mentor had gotten over his bullshit and put the village FRONT AND CENTER from the word GO
i think the monkey king staff neggs the susanoo because even if you say a younger hiruzen fought the nine tails that doesnt really affect the feat itself since the staff is the one doing the pushing and it did smack the nine tails. Not to mention hiruzen as an old man might be physically weaker but it isnt by much so if he really puts in some effort to hit sasuke it should be pretty easy
My only issue is Hiruzen replicates the feat against Orochimaru and he's unable to blow Orochimaru back with it. Orochimaru blocks it with the Grass Long Sword
@@ThunderGodTG well hiruzen was also going through some really deep mental stuff during that fight which probably affected alot of his capabilities. Cause unless you think naruto era orichimaru has full 9 tails durability thats the only way the feat makes sense in series
My only issue with that is Enma himself wanted to super clip orochimaru so it'd make no sense for the staff itself to hold back, Enma was more so critical of Hiruzen's responses to certain shit
@@ThunderGodTG aside from just coming to terms with how they may have not thought the whole thing through with how battles would scale between naruto and shippuden i think you could technically argue hiruzens use of the staff is still in factor since once hiruzen came to terms with fighting orochimaru he did blitz and disarm him from what i remember its been awhile since i watched the fight. hiruzen was clearly focused on fighting the nine tails so him using the staff to push it makes sense because if it wasnt as durable/powerful it wouldve just broke him pushing the staff against orochimaru while still being reluctant to fight would then factor in because the staff itself cant just change power it needs to be wielded like how a sword doesnt just cut you if it falls on you as opposed to someone swinging it into you
I could definitely see that, you could also maybe say Enma Got weaker over time as well which would add to that, so I definitely hear what you're saying I would probably add to the vid if I could re record it the Staff could push the Susanoo Back, it's just that its AP is more so in question since it's a bit more variable.
Since itachi was able to break out of edo tenseis control with kotoamastukami Danzo should be able to break orochimarus control over the edo hokages and turn them against him. Haven’t watched the video so I don’t know if this was brought up or not

The 3rd was stabbed while doing his jutsu. He was said to have been fighting for over a hour as well. Sasuke doesn't have that kind of stamina. Nothing close to that. If Donzo got back up then Hiruzan should too. Orochimaru would wipe Donzo too.
Also Hiruzen is far stronger than Danzo he should have easily defeated Sasuke he is one of the strongest kages and Sasuke had to use alot of help to fend of the Raikage and was almost killed multiple times
12:33 you're forgetting that Yoji Aburame or code name Sugaru poisoned Shisui, which is why he lost his sharingan to Danzo, therefore I wouldn't even call this a fight

Out of curiosity, how do you think the speedsters of the verse compare to one another? Like 4th Aye, Minato, Shisui, and Tobirama? There might be a few others that you could add (KCM Naruto and 3rd Aye potentially), but how do you think they compare to one another?
In my opinion it goes
1. Minato
2. Tobirama
3. 4th Aye
4. Shisui
Let me try to answer this question for you (You don't have to agree with me), I'm also not implying that it is defenetly this ranking it could be different however I think the rankings would be like this (Using only the characters you mentioned): The fastest would be by far Minato and second would be Tobirama, both of these aren't really fast in the sense of speed. After all their main way of transporting is using the flying raijin which is more of a teleportation jutsu (This is a very fun and difficult jutsu to explain, however if you want me to I can explain it) rather than a speed jutsu/burst/technique. However what makes them so fast is their reaction time, that's the real fast thing about Tobirama and Minato. And as for why Minato is higher than Tobirama, it's because Tobirama blatantly stated "You're even faster than me, lord 4th." when they arrived by the 10-tails. At 3rd I would place war arc KCM Naruto , he blitzed the raikage the fastest shinobi alive and he was still new to the form meaning he had no real mastery of his strength or speed, meaning you can argue that he became faster during the war. At place 4 & 5 you would have both Ay's, it's not directly stated that the 3rd was faster than the 4th raikage however it's pretty much implied that he is being able to dodge naruto's fastest jutsu's whilst the 4th raikage was being blitzed. This also leads me to the point that you can argue Ay 3rd being Higher than Naruto because he has dodged naruto's attacks with little effort, however as I said before you can argue Naruto becoming faster during the final stages of the war which is something I do think is the case meaning I consider Naruto to be faster than Ay (3rd) at the final stages of the war arc. But placing Ay (3rd) at the 3rd place and Naruto at 4th is also fine, at the very least they are comparable in speed. And then at the last place, place 6, I have Shisui. Something you might not have expected however Shisui's speed really isn't that big of a deal as you think, Shisui was being blitzed by Danzo who's 100% slower than Ay (4th) however Shisui was caught off guard Blablabla. However I think there's another reason as for why Shisui is lower than all the others, first of all Shisui was known for his body flickering technique (once again more of an teleportation jutsu rather than a speed boosting jutsu). However unlike Shisui's reaction time being necessary for this jutsu he needs other things in order to use this jutsu for movement, and yes while i do think Shisui is faster than Both Ay's and KCM Naruto if we're talking about a short burst of speed, however what you want to know (I think) is the general speed of each combatants where Shisui really just is the slowest in.

According to Databooks The Raikage is in The Yellow Flash’s tier of Speed. He can also augment his brain reflexes via electricity through his brain. We also saw Naruto needing max speed similar to Yellow flash to avoid him which means Raikage is right behind Minato. Shisui is Right Behind Raikage , KCM Naruto is on Raikage’s speed level.
Minato is faster than Raikage even without ftg. His body flicker surpasses Raikage’s lightning teleportation.

They actually fought many times, it’s actually not as crazy as people say, in the manga Raikage Aye grazes Minato’s nose. Minato just has better reaction and teleportation but there is a intentional comparison

@@ThunderGodTG this does not maje sense, minato did not wven get damage, ghe was able to flick a kunai mid blitz attempt and still was able to attack Ay before he was able to react to the point that bee has to save him. Even if you presuposed that raikage only allowed minato to attack him because he knew he was gonna survive, the fact he is depending on a 2v1 to catch minato and depends also on his durability(which he was worried about) it just does not make any sense that raikage would be relative to minato in speed.
Minato Probably never damaged Raikage in his entire life. He’s just better at dodging than him. If The Raikage catches him he could lose a limb. Minato knew better.
Their Rivalry is basically if Minato was caught slipping he could have lost his life to Raikage. Basically the Raikage was right behind. 1 mistake and Minato’s dead, that’s how they’ve rivalry works.
1)personally use lore in arguments as much as feats , the thing about characters like Hiruzen although this may sound contrived given their lore its very hard to predict what type of battle strategy they would use in these fantasy battles, you could make an argument like "from what I have seen hiruzen has no way of pulling Sasuke out of susanoo," and you would be right based on what you've seen but not what's implied from the story, what's implied in the story would be he probably has a jutsu or strategy from the 1000 jutsu arsenal he has in his lore. I would even bet if Kishimoto wrote these fights you would be surprised by some of the jutsu he might pull out to match the situation but I get why this type of thinking is problematic for debates
2) subtly implying Danzo and hiruzen have similar strength and speed is questionable, because nowhere in the story have they been hinted to be on he same level, based on the story they were ideological rivals but when it came to strength Hiruzen was on another level, I am not sayin Hiruzen is fast enough to dodge Susanoo arow but makin that argument based on a weaker character not doing it is kinda questionable and like my above point stated we don't know if he has a jutsu to deal with the arrow or amataratsu, kinda like how he pulled adamantine prison to counter deep forest emersion out of his ass, its hard to predict what character with a vague arsenal would actually do
3)Hiruzen might actually have the stamina advantage considering how long he fought orochimaru for, Hiruzen was physically weaker then in his prime but could play tug of war with Orochimaru's soul with a sword in his back after fighting and sealing 3 kage level opponents for who knows how long while 5 kage summit sasuke was already going blind
Also don't forget KS Sasuke was not even strong enough to beat the Raikage and had use alot of help to even stay alive

Guru Guru is weird since i have no idea how that would work tbh It's possible since ocular genjutsu is the user injecting their chakra into you, I also feel since Hiruzen is the hokage Shisui would lean into using it more rather than fight as Hiruzen has far more control.

It was literally a plan in the novel to use koto on the 3rd tho.

1) I agree totally in the statements made about hiruzen are never really backed up like him being surpassed the current kage in other villages or him knowing all leaf jutsus outside of kekkei genkais…
2) the shadow clone thing “he’s only able to make 3 clones” I don’t think 3 is his limit in that for demonstration sake he could only make 3 clones…
I think he could only make 3 clones and still keep up with hashirama, tobirama and orochimaru in a fight…
When using shadow clones the user divides their chakra evenly among the clones…
Obviously the more chakra a person has the more clones they’re able to make but it also makes each clone weaker..
Naruto spamming shadow clones is a testimony to his massive chakra pools but also notice whenever he uses a large amount of clones they’re usually used as distractions to set up for an attack
And easily get one shot by whoever his opponent is…
Hiruzens clones are swapping hands with Edo hokages (albeit they aren’t as strong as their alive versions but they’re still S rank shinobi in terms of strength)

Disagree, hiruzen being above the five kage is a huge determinant of the fight.
Old hiruzen as an edo was fast enough to blitz the god tree before minato and tobirama could pull up. Granted you could argue they were further away but the fact he was a factor at all speaks a lot.
If he’s at all comparable to Danzo which should be consistent since they are rivals, then he blitzes sasuke. Sasuke got speed blitzed by a dying Danzo on his last legs and was struggling to fight with Danzo head on when ever he didn’t use his mangekyo abilities. T
This is important since sasuke’s abilities are all faster then he is. He also used a chidori against dying Danzo which is his top speed so one underrated feat from Danzo means that hiruzen should be able to react to him.
If he’s anywhere around Danzo and if you think he’s faster then the raikage who’s relative to minato then he should just speed blitz both Obtio and sasuke. Granted he will struggle more since he doesn’t have the safeguard Danzo had and you could argue that a stray amaterasu is enough but assuming his physicals are above Danzo he should just bust open the susanoo. He also has better summoning too that actually fights for him.
So the fight could go either way depending on how you view hiruzen’s speed. If he’s faster then it’s a speed blitz, if not then the fights in sasuke’s favor. Obtio clears though unless you think itachi’s above obito.
Danzo vs orochimaru is an even bigger stomp. Danzo is faster then the sasuke who’s faster then the other sasuke who was already contending with orochimaru. Granted he was sick but orochimaru lacks feats that put him anywhere near Danzo who’s at least comparable to all the top tier speedsters in the show.
Orochimaru is also susceptible to genjutsu to a very high degree. Sasuke legit sealed orochimaru into himself using casual genjutsu and got one shotted by Itachi. Considering that Danzo was confident he could control the 9 tails and has shisui’s eye, danzo could just mind rape orochimaru.
Danzo has better showings of senjutsu. Orochimaru is so trash with it that his body rejects it and has to use it through other people. Sure Danzo doesn’t have sage mode but it’s better for him since he body won’t collapse in the presence of it.
The bijuu bokb shot by 4 tails naruto should also be weaker then the v3 susanoo from sasuke since orochimaru flat out states that no cursed mark sasuke surpassed him.
Danzo either turns orochimaru into a vegetable without koto or keeps blitzing orochimaru until he can’t regenerate. He might turn orochimaru into a cursed mark too.
Hiruzen vs shisui could go either way. You could argue with either being faster but depends on who gets who first. If hiruzen uses bringer of darkness it’s probably over though. This is the closest match honestly.
Danzo blitzes guru guru assuming he’s faster then Hiruzen which is debatable. He can just seal guru guru too, if orochimaru could do it he probably could too.

I also don’t see how breaking open the back of sasuke’s susanoo isn’t impressive, if a v1 susanoo took almost no damage from the raikage using a serious move then the v3 should easily be bijuu level which is consistent with what Karin says. Danzo breaking it open with basic wind style is a huge feat.

This is absolutely the case. Sasuke slaps hiruzen. He destroys him near effortlessly.
Why? Because it's the exact same hiruzen who fought orochimaru and struggled. NO he was not beating orochimaru and he had no chance to do so. Which is WHY he used reaper death.
If hiruzen needs to use reaper death against orochimaru, he stands zero chance against Sasuke. As Sasuke was significantly stronger, by a massive margin, than orochimaru was against hiruzen.
Sasuke by that time, is stronger than every kage alive during his time other than Naruto obviously.

Pushing kyuubi out of village is the most overrated feat in naruto universe. Hiruzen had the entire leaf army assisting him and once kyuubi started charging the bijju bomb, he looked clueless.

I don't like his Edo Feats at all I think people blow them out of proportion a lot, especially the Tobirama one., same with Guru Guru Old Man Hiruzen would never be able to perform that feat. it's mainly the blitz point which is the main thing.

It's not. It only gives you weaker chakra, which is negated by infinite chakra and it makes you immortal.
Hiruzen is shown to have extremely potent chakra, but specifically the skill to spank the first two hokage with lethal attacks while they could not do the same to him. He was confident before they were even fully summoned that he could beat them, not knowing that their chakra works be any weaker

It's literally stated due to his age, Orochimaru and the Anbu reprimand him for it, he CAN make clones it's just super dangerous for him so he has to use them wisely. You would just sage his chakra supply diminished with his age making it so he couldn't cut his chakra up into clones over and over.
But None of then said that Hiruzen can only do two clones. They talk about his chakra, because he was fighting the edo tensei, spam clones would be useless, even Kakashi make hundreds of clones if he want. People forget that the Hokages we seeing in the 4 war are weaker that when they were alive. That's include Hiruzen too. Enma even say, that's the way Hiruzen is fighting Orochimaru, is out comum
The War Arc grant the Hokage limitless reserves of chakra that are replenishing, the point of the Hiruzen clones is that it's extremely risky to him, we never see him make more, if you want to say HE CAN you can totally do that, but the on screen limit we've seen is two. If you wanna say he can make more that's fine

The same Kakahi, who was scared of facing Orochimaru, did a hundreds of clones to help Naruto fight some thugs. Makes no sense assume that Hiruzen, who fouth and scales to Ochimaru, could only do two clones.
this is one of "flaws" that I had with this analyse. Enma was strong enough push the nine tails original body out of the village, and break throw wood style, both from hashirama and the divine tree. I think it could break throw an imperfect Suzano.
The nine tails showing is strictly anime only, in the manga hiruzen and the entire leaf are required to drive the nine tails out so that can be debated if it’s even possible, but that depends on viewer, the problem with the divine tree argument is that everyone breaks it even regular samehada

I think the lack of understanding of the greatness of hiruzen falls down to writing , like kishimoto blew the scales up from relative ninjutsu to chakra avatars and nukes when the realistic durability of the bodies involved isn’t high .
