He won against EMS Madara + full Kurama.
He even won against Edo Rinnengan Madara, when Hashirama himself was Edo.
I mean... He has a safe mode that isn't related to animals so nobody knows how he got it, and that's kinda broken. Also he is Ashura reincarnation so that instantly boosts him. Also a descendant of him that gives him the physical attributes. He also had the ultimate healing factor plus he could control wood and he was the only one who could do it (Yamato had Hashirama cells plus orochimaru experiments so he doesn't count). So yeah... He had some crazy boosts and amps at all times.

Hashirama is so OP Kishimoto never mentioned his death in the series. No one can match him after Madara’s death that’s why the most logical answer is that he died because of natural illness.
I've read once a comment saying about when cells keep multiplying eventually your body doesnt make new ones. Thus even the flu can kill you in the end. He was in a constant state of fighting. Must have tanked skill shots jutsus or what not that have damaged him. Eventually his body said enough is enough. And boem he dead son.

Cells in the top layer of your skin live about 30 days,
red blood cells live for about 120 days and, liver cells live about 18 months.
Obviously the Hayflick limit doesn't set the length of a person's life cause cells have different life spans and the body makes new cells as well as splitting cells other wise people would run out of skin between 3 & 5 years old

You know you are too strong when literally all God tiers in your show needs outside powers like full Tail Beasts, God eyes and Rikudou chakra to surpass you. Hashirama is the only high tier character in Naruto that doesnt need outside power to be in that spot.
To be fair his powers are alien. Him Madara, Tobirama, Sasuke and naruto and even the hyugaclan because is the Great great great great great great great great+ grandmother. The Uchiha clan which hails from Ashura and the Senju/Uzumaki clan which hail from Indra who both hails from Haguromo which hails from kaguya and Haguromo's brother who birthed the Hyuga clan. So REALLY The strongest non alien related muhhfuckas is Hiruzen, Jamaica, and Might Gai no 8th gates and A and his Daddy and Onoki and Gaara no shakkaku. Because they bloodline don't go back to Kaguya. I don't put ochimaru because that nigga use Hashirama cells aka Kaguya dna

People forget that not only did hashirama possess great strength, he also had a great intellect which was shown in his ability to master many Jutsus and even form complicated Jutsus as a child that even Madara could not comprehend.
As a huge Hashirama fan.. I appreciate this video.. people don't understand how Beast the first Hokage is... I believe he could have beaten Prime madara with Rinnegan. He pretty much could have killed Madara at any time they fought when they were alive but didn't because he loved him so much, and because he tried to save him is why their fights lasted so long.
Alright i'm going to say it. He shouldn't be able to beat a Madara who can use wood style now and has the abilities of the Rinnegan, that's ridiculous. The both of them pushed each other to the brink the last time they fought yet he's still able to beat Madara easily despite him being 5x stronger than before? come on.

Madara's dislike of people being behind him is one of the more relatable traits a character has, and humanizes him a bit. So it's very tragic when Hashirama stabs him in the back, makes me think the event messed him up bad.

I think Hashirama is so impressive is because he achieved his powers and prowess by himself. No tailed beast help, no unnatural buffs to enhance him. Plus, the fact that so many characters were high on his cells is a big testament to him.
He sealed within him the chakra tree which the ten tails used to gather chakra and heal. He gained these abilities but using this type of healing over time this damages your cells shorting your life span

Hashirama could do what Tsunade could except for the jutsu where he keeps himself young forever. Otherwise , Hashirama was pretty immortal. He was just like Hidan in an even scarier way. On top of that , Hashirama knows more sealing Jutsu than Madara and has far larger chakra reserves than Madara. Madara has a few strong techniques. Hashirama has tons of them. Theres nothing Madara can do about the 1000 arm buddha statue. And thats with it sitting down in which state its already bigger than a tailed beast and a full susanoo by a lot. It becomes even worse for Madara when the statue gets up similar to a full susanoo.
Hashirama is so powerful that Madara, the big bad of the entire series had to summon a nine-tails to fight him and literally died at a later fight. What's crazy about this is that I can guarantee that Hashirama wasn't trying to kill him because of how kind he is. So technically, he wasn't going all out.
Nah, he was gunning to kill Madara in that fight, he'd tried mercy, but with the Leaf now a thing, he had many more lives to keep safe.
Also, why, if he wasn't trying to kill Madara....Did he kill Madara?

@@AnimemanistHashirama has wood style which oppresses tailed beasts power. So he can take 10 tails considering he has battle iq and insane amounts of chakra. And the fact that he sealed it.
Also Jubito was barely controlling 10 tails inside him. And Hashirama can generate insanely strong attacks. With his stamina he can take Jubito, But also Jubito can take Hashirama. So it's in any ways extreme difficulty for both of them.

The reason Tobirama gets so shafted is because it was established he lost to the Kinkaku Force (and they didn't make it overly clear but implied the Gold and Silver brothers themselves were on that team) and his brother was the main rival to Madara Tobirama invented new creative Jutsu but we seen most other characters who used them master them to a far greater degree. Originally Minato was supposed to be the strongest of the Hokage (before they revealed that edo nerf was a thing)

Hashirama is honestly underrated. A lot of people praise Kakashi, Madara, Itachi, Obito, Etc. But tend to forget characters like Hashirama and Minato who are probably some of the most OP characters in the story.

I actually never noticed the symbolism of Madara dropping his guard for his rear in his fight vs Hashirama before. Madara really did hate people being behind him and he even said it when he was about to die. Hashirama said that they should’ve done what they could and allow the next generation to finish up what they started and Madara said that’s still a failure for him because it’s means people would’ve been standing behind him... He really did trust that wood chucking goofball Hashirama 😢

I 100% agree with you on this. People need to stop underrating hashirama. I think the first character we saw that would actually be able to legitimately fodderize him in his prime would be 1 rinnegan, ten-tails jinchurikee madara. And even then I still think he'd put up a much better fight than guy did while using all 8 gates.

Hashirama's legacy is as the base of every inch of the lore. He and Madara are the founder of the ninja world (the villages and the current Ninja system), the Will of Fire is his philosophy and Madara and Tobi are explisitly trying to topple his legacy. He's even intimately connected to the sage of the six paths due to the whole reincarnation trash.
The ninja world exists because Hashirama, the tailed beasts got divided between the villages because of Hashirama, many of the villains gets their powers through Hashirama, Madara's insanity is to a huge extend caused by being beat up by Hashirama and the world Obito is desperate to get rid of was build by Hashirama. He's both the source of the ideology of the heroes and and embodiment of everything the insane Uchiha brigade detests.
"But Kaguya..." Kaguya is the progenitor of the Chakra. She didn't create the villages and the Ninja system.
