I think one could argue that Canada's freedom of expression has stronger language for protection of speech than even the 1st Amendment. For me, any law enforcement intervention in speech/expression is a slippery slope that we should stay off of.

I think my coverage on the battle has been in line with all of my drake coverage over the years. Pieces like "How To Beat Drake In A Rap Beef" or "Is Drake Black Excellence" for example. Or even my Drake GOAT piece which talks a lot about his refusal to address social issues in his music. I've covered him more in volume recently since this battle has captured the zeitgeist. But overall Drake to me represents everything I respect the least in life.

I think my coverage on the battle has been in line with all of my drake coverage over the years. Pieces like "How To Beat Drake In A Rap Beef" or "Is Drake Black Excellence" for example. Or even my Drake GOAT piece which talks a lot about his refusal to address social issues in his music. I've covered him more in volume recently since this battle has captured the zeitgeist. But overall Drake to me represents everything I respect the least in life.
