Why Dr Dre Never Respected The Game

- Опубліковано 26 сер 2024
- The Game has never made things easy for himself since he entered the spotlight. Even as he racked up platinum selling albums, he constantly found himself embroiled in controversy and engaging in feuds. And now, it seems like that tendency to speak first and consider the possible ramifications of it later has cost him his treasured relationship with Dr Dre.

Most hood folk are their own worse enemies just to keep it real. You either from the hood but you a regular person that grow up in the culture or you're from the hood and you are a person that partakes in the negativity of the culture. Game and 50 cent are on the negative side BUT 50 learned to be more business and less street as he grew and game did not. Game let his ego and street emotionally unstable sensitivity get the best of him. A lot of dude's get popped the same way in the street or get hands put on them. 50 got invited, Em got invited, Snoop got invited, Kendrick got invited, Anderson Paak, what do they all got in common? They're all either not ignorant street folks or more business than street just like Jay Z became hence the Super Bowl invitation. Daz Dillinger & Soopafly produced the most famous Dr. Dre beats, Dre is a Mixing Engineer, yes He made some good beats for N.W.A. & The D.O.C. but He is not the best Producer, that goes to Daz Dillinger, DJ Premier and/or Pete Rock.

I partly agree
His limited lyrical topics were always going to keep him from being a Kendrick level. Kendrick has lyrics that appeal to a wide group of people that Game's just don't,but, he wouldn't have burned every bridge like he has and would've been fine and been invited to these events and gotten features

The documentary was not five times platinum five times platinum does not mean 5 million worldwide that’s 5 million domestically. If you do it like that then there’s a whole lot of albums that should be Dimond that only sold 5 million but if you go five times platinum that means you sold 5 million in the United States he didn’t do that. He sold 2.5 million in the United States, the album went double platinum, but in total worldwide sold 5 million.
He sold 5 million records. Even if this is true, it's a rather meaningless distinction that has more to do with semantics than substance. 5 Million records is fucking 5 million records. If anything selling 5 million distributed across the world it is a great achievement because it means your influence spread global even if you're not officially 5x Platinum in America because of some meaningless technicality.
@@alchemisoulofficial oh, absolutely, I’m not saying it’s not. I’m just saying the album was not five times platinum. I didn’t mean it as a way to disgrace him in anyway, and I love that album by the way. I’ve just seen some people get the two mixed up. if he would’ve went five times platinum that would’ve meant the album would be right around 10 million worldwide. Back then whatever you did domestically you would also sell about the same amount outside the United States. For example, both D2 albums Sold 2 million domestically and then they sold 2 million outside the United States so both their albums sold around 4 million worldwide.
@bdr113080 I get what you're saying. That's probably true now but I think that was almost uniquely true for Shady/Aftermath affiliated artists doing those numbers internationally for a long tjme. It's forwn do much larger now but the Interscope S/A/G-Unit success worldwide was pretty unmatched for a while forhip hop overseas.
I remember in 2004, being in Malta, when there was a lot of big bangers plsying and then a non single Obrie Trice record came on. That wasn't a big record over here. If was dope but onkt if you ate up whatever rhose label artists were purting out.
He wasn't that big but he was with em so it probably trickled down to all of his associated artists. I was with it but I was really surprised to hear that.

Him and 50 could've made so much money together, a 50 / Game album would've been killer!!
Im in the minority but I think he played the 50 situation right. He was only gonna get so far with G-Unit and at the time 50 was going scorched earth beefing w/ a bunch of people, which hurt the crew in the long run. Look at it this way: Who in G-Unit (50 included) was really musically relevant past 2009-2010?
@Djacedeuce yea but I believe the game had a lot to do with G-unit losing popularity. And that's my point, if Game rocks with G-Unit for a longer time, there's no telling what G-Unit mightve ended up being. Especially seeing how much of an impact Game can have on the culture in the right setting.

Game had Jimmy Henchman (who set up Pac at Quad studios) talking his ear off into backstabing 50, on the other end 50 himself always been a known back stabber who uses his artists for profit before getting rid of them like he did to young buck and would've most likely done the same to Game had he remained on his side. Still one of the greatest rap beef in history imo
50 always had the advantage of being both a clever self made businessman + a ruthless oponent when it comes to beef. On the other hand Game always been an over emotional PR disaster who always had to remain in the shadow of ppl bigger than him (Jimmy/Wack/50/Dre/etc) to navigate and stay relevant
@@greysoul8109Game didn’t have Jimmy Henchmen do nth, he really didn’t have pull over jimmy game was only the entertainment part of the beef but behind the scenes 50 gunit & jimmy was really going at it..
The thing is 50 still sounds the same as he ever did and has no diversity of styles. Game rips it in a variety of styles to any beat and adds different twists to his rhymes. 50 is trash and has never stepped up his game to be able to hang with anybody let alone Game. Hence the reason he hasnt had a hit since he went pop in the mid 2000s. 50 will NEVER be on the charts again
!
@@eyecontrol490050 def had hits after the mid 2000’s. And 50 just turned 49 earlier this month. Why would 50 care about being on the music charts moving forward in his life. You want 50 to still make songs like “Many Men” as if he’s still in his 20’s? Man is old now. He on to other things in life. Something Game should do, but he can’t. Game is 45 years old still tryna relive his young days.
the only song I ever had on of his is My Life ft. Lil Wayne back in like middle school lmfaooo
YOU'VE HEARD FOLKS SAY IT MANY TIMES AND IT'S AS TRUE NOW AS IT WAS THE 1ST TIME IT WAS SAID. GAME IS HIS OWN WORST ENEMY, ALWAYS HAS ALWAYS WILL. NEVER BITE THE HAND THAT FEEDS THE MOUTH!
Say what you want about The Game. But, he has never put out a bad album. All of his work is 🔥🔥🔥🔥
If you know you know💯🫵🏿🫵🏿
Facts. That's why I don't understand the narrative of people saying that "The Documentary" being his only good album because it's simply not true.
Since his manager wanted to free Keefe d I’m done with dude don’t overhype him I listened to all his music half of each album was good lots of filler be honest you ain’t playing all his songs on repeat nobody is and I literally bought every album
That’s what I’m sayin man
All name drops 😂
100 bars, 300 bars, and his Meek Mill diss are three of the greatest diss tracks of all time. The guy constantly contradicts himself, sometimes in the same song, but his future was limitless in his heyday. But after decades of taking shots at damn near everyone and wayyy too active social media accounts, we see that Jayceon is still the kid who wants Dre and his peers approval. He’s just desperate and what used to be desperation to succeed and be better turned to desperation to just be relevant, and no one likes that.
Greatest diss ? kind of a reach there!! 300 bars is a 15 min rant at best.. swear I only listen to that song once back in 05 when it dropped & never played it again. You gotta be a special person to sit & listen to a 15 min song really bout nth🥱.. whole bunch of suck my d#’k & g-unit b#tch this & b#tch that.😒

I think it's quite a feat for any rapper to spit for 15 minutes straight on a track. Besides Game, only Joe Budden and Canibus pulled it off.
The Game is Bi-Polar!
Damn. What a way to burn bridges...
He did respect The Game for his rapping skills and being from Compton and having a good buzz in Compton, LA, And The Bay by working with Big Fase 100 And JT The Bigga Figga the problem was Game still had trouble making his own hooks, cadences, song structures, and bridges for Mainstream listeners by himself so they needed people like 50 and Nate among others to assist him with that so the Aftermath/G Unit/Interscope/Czar machine already gave Game a national boost people where already anticipating Game around the country being signed to those four giants and him being from the west coast with a east coast sound which was rare at the time same with Guerilla Black despite the latter not having as big of a label or businesses backpacking him yeah.
Cap🫵🏿😭all his albums are 8’s and higher
I love The Game’s discography and I’m a fan of his, but just him being bipolar with Dr. Dre, Eminem, and Kendrick rubs me the wrong way. It sucked to see him and 50 Cent get into it too when I was younger. I played both of their music equally. I kinda fell off with 50 Cent after Curtis and the last The Game Album I enjoyed was The Documentary 2 & 2.5. It just sucks to see how The Game’s actions have cost him a lot. It just feels like he’s washed up and attention seeking with his more recent antics. I do wish that 50 Cent can come out with some music too. It feels like forever since he made an album. I still hold The Game as one of my top West Coast rappers, but the man behind the name soul is in question.
Did he forget about the Dre/storch beat for westside story? That beat rules
Homie always in his feelings
