Most hood folk are their own worse enemies just to keep it real. Dr. Dre has done a lot of sucker shit throughout his entire career and I understand why Game is upset with him. I’ve been a fan of Dr Dre’s music since 1988 and his NWA days. However, he lacks character and moves funny style on folks he’s supposed to be down for. Historically, if you just listen to stories from the DOC, Game, Easy E, DJ Yella, Michele, Suge, 2pac, etc… they all have bad things to say about Dre. Everyone can’t be lying about their experiences with Dre. The bottom line is that unless you have extreme talent and can move independently of Dre, like Snoop, Ice Cube and Anderson Paak, you will be disappointed in him and his actions. This fool didn’t even support his own stepbrother Warren G at the height of his Death Row reign. He allowed for MC Ren to be left out of the NWA movie almost completely! He allowed the DOC to be denied royalties and financial compensation for all the work that he created and helped create for Dre when Dre became rich and powerful and could make a call to Jimmy! Dudes politick about Dre because he is an iconic producer who is affiliated with the music business power structure and Jimmy Iovine and Apple. It’s easy to diss others and dick ride guys like Dre until sucker shit happens to you. Game ain’t perfect but he’s just hurt and disappointed in Dre and his lack of support for his projects over the years. He was looking for a family with Aftermath but found out that Dre is a mercenary and a selfish person. Everyone has to be responsible for their own actions and affairs in life but that doesn’t mean that dudes don’t do things that hurt you financially and professionally in the process.
Not to mention the woman he severely beat in the 80s It's interesting you mention this, because I was listening to a show where they spoke about why up and coming rappers shouldn't sign to other rappers Big name rappers have their own thing going on, and aren't going to take the time out of their day to make you a star bigger than them because they're focused on them. A few examples being Eminem and Shady (aside from 50, no one ever hit the same level of fame. Obie Trice eventually left because he was put on the back burner, Bishop Nehru disappeared out of nowhere and all the Slaughterhouse issues), 50 never did much for anyone outside of G Unit, and even the other members didn't get much shine, Nas has a label he reportedly never helped anyone or did anything for, all the issues TDE developed etc I think because hip-hop has such a strong image of "we're all homies and help each other out" we forget that it's a multi billion selling industry where the watching out for you homies gets thrown out the window for individualistic capitalism, greed and ego. Just watch the Kanye documentary...for years the image that Jay Z and Kanye were tight as little and big brother was everywhere, but in the documentary, you see how Jay barely even turned to look at him
One of my young homies jokingly asked me if game has any good songs. He thought I would laugh along with him. I told him yes, and listed my favourite songs from the documentary, doctor's advocate, lax and the red album. I went onto to tell him not to be fooled by game's public antics, especially off late. Dude has made some good songs.
Game is trash. His own features outshine him on tracks. If it wasn’t for his production, nobody would bump his shit. He’s just as bad as he was when he was being produced by JT
This video put it perfectly, Game is too emotional. If he would've played his cards right, he could've possibley been in the GOAT conversation, he's that good of a rapper. He was signed to the hottest label, the hottest rapper, the hottest producer possibly of all time, with possibly the greatest rapper ever in your corner, and he fucked it up. Him and 50 could've made so much money together, a 50 / Game album would've been killer!!
Im in the minority but I think he played the 50 situation right. He was only gonna get so far with G-Unit and at the time 50 was going scorched earth beefing w/ a bunch of people, which hurt the crew in the long run. Look at it this way: Who in G-Unit (50 included) was really musically relevant past 2009-2010?
@Djacedeuce yea but I believe the game had a lot to do with G-unit losing popularity. And that's my point, if Game rocks with G-Unit for a longer time, there's no telling what G-Unit mightve ended up being. Especially seeing how much of an impact Game can have on the culture in the right setting.
@@Djacedeuce I think i've heard 50 mention that when he started his own audio company his relationship with Dre and Jimmy basically ended because they had beats and that they had a falling out over it.

Em still not responded. Enough said
100 bars, 300 bars, and his Meek Mill diss are three of the greatest diss tracks of all time. The guy constantly contradicts himself, sometimes in the same song, but his future was limitless in his heyday. But after decades of taking shots at damn near everyone and wayyy too active social media accounts, we see that Jayceon is still the kid who wants Dre and his peers approval. He’s just desperate and what used to be desperation to succeed and be better turned to desperation to just be relevant, and no one likes that.

He did respect The Game for his rapping skills and being from Compton and having a good buzz in Compton, LA, And The Bay by working with Big Fase 100 And JT The Bigga Figga the problem was Game still had trouble making his own hooks, cadences, song structures, and bridges for Mainstream listeners by himself so they needed people like 50 and Nate among others to assist him with that so the Aftermath/G Unit/Interscope/Czar machine already gave Game a national boost people where already anticipating Game around the country being signed to those four giants and him being from the west coast with a east coast sound which was rare at the time same with Guerilla Black despite the latter not having as big of a label or businesses backpacking him yeah.
I love The Game’s discography and I’m a fan of his, but just him being bipolar with Dr. Dre, Eminem, and Kendrick rubs me the wrong way. It sucked to see him and 50 Cent get into it too when I was younger. I played both of their music equally. I kinda fell off with 50 Cent after Curtis and the last The Game Album I enjoyed was The Documentary 2 & 2.5. It just sucks to see how The Game’s actions have cost him a lot. It just feels like he’s washed up and attention seeking with his more recent antics. I do wish that 50 Cent can come out with some music too. It feels like forever since he made an album. I still hold The Game as one of my top West Coast rappers, but the man behind the name soul is in question.
I always thought about the old saying:don’t block your blessings……The Game is very talented and has a ton of potential, but his ego, bad management and feuding with Eminem, 50 cent etc really brought down and another thing I attribute his antics is to peeps he hangs out with……And not answering Dr Dre’s phone calls?!……this is why some peeps washed their hands completely of the game…..smh
On a hip hop level the 50 Cent/The Game beef was legendary and had multiple classics from both sides. On a personal level shit was messy af. Ppl actually died over this shit. Game had Jimmy Henchman (who set up Pac at Quad studios) talking his ear off into backstabing 50, on the other end 50 himself always been a known back stabber who uses his artists for profit before getting rid of them like he did to young buck and would've most likely done the same to Game had he remained on his side. Still one of the greatest rap beef in history imo
50 always had the advantage of being both a clever self made businessman + a ruthless oponent when it comes to beef. On the other hand Game always been an over emotional PR disaster who always had to remain in the shadow of ppl bigger than him (Jimmy/Wack/50/Dre/etc) to navigate and stay relevant

Very good video, although I feel like you missed out the fact that Dre was on The Documentary 2. This makes it even weirder for Game to later say “I never had Dre on my song” cause it’s clearly not true
I wouldn’t say Dre never respected him. Just seems like Game had his own motives that burned the bridges and shattered relationships after that first album. He started talking crazy on Dre and 50, and that’s what did it. Weird though, cause for years he went back and forth on his feelings about his history with them. Thank you. Game was always incredibly overrated. Most hood folk are their own worse enemies just to keep it real. You either from the hood but you a regular person that grow up in the culture or you're from the hood and you are a person that partakes in the negativity of the culture. Game and 50 cent are on the negative side BUT 50 learned to be more business and less street as he grew and game did not. Game let his ego and street emotionally unstable sensitivity get the best of him. A lot of dude's get popped the same way in the street or get hands put on them. 50 got invited, Em got invited, Snoop got invited, Kendrick got invited, Anderson Paak, what do they all got in common?

Big name rappers have their own thing going on, and aren't going to take the time out of their day to make you a star bigger than them because they're focused on them. A few examples being Eminem and Shady (aside from 50, no one ever hit the same level of fame. Obie Trice eventually left because he was put on the back burner, Bishop Nehru disappeared out of nowhere and all the Slaughterhouse issues), 50 never did much for anyone outside of G Unit, and even the other members didn't get much shine, Nas has a label he reportedly never helped anyone or did anything for, all the issues TDE developed etc
I think because hip-hop has such a strong image of "we're all homies and help each other out" we forget that it's a multi billion selling industry where the watching out for you homies gets thrown out the window for individualistic capitalism, greed and ego.
Just watch the Kanye documentary...for years the image that Jay Z and Kanye were tight as little and big brother was everywhere, but in the documentary, you see how Jay barely even turned to look at him

Dr Dre always said. "Don't hate the player, hate the...."
This video put it perfectly, Game is too emotional. If he would've played his cards right, he could've possibley been in the GOAT conversation, he's that good of a rapper.
