Really not seeing why anybody would go to such lengths to get one of these bags. Front pocket looks very tight and hard to use (and volume above the zipper, why?), can't be used when the bag is open, inside larger slip pocket prevents bag from opening as you stated, side pockets look extremely stiff and make the bag look even worse if you try stuff a water bottle inside. Rear slip pocket is completely open to the elements. Inner pockets behind the loop patch look very difficult to access (and its contents will try to slide out when lid is fully opened). If you really dig the look I guess it could be worth it, but I certainly do not.
Even still, glad you showed it to us, and not saying it's a bad bag, just not for me at all!

Given the shape of the bag and the way it opens it kind of reminds me of the Evergoods CAP 2L.

Awesome video, JB! Dan Matsuda worked in collaboration with ITS (Imminent Threat Solutions) to develop a very cool gray-man messenger called the Discreet Messenger. The fidlock closure rocks. So does the organization. I use it for work EDC.

ya know, I had to put on some headphones with some noise cancelling, but I think you're right. There's a slight buzz really hard to hear. I don't know where that's coming from. I used a different mic for this next video so I'll see if that eliminates it....

This is a very unique piece and not for everybody. These are small batch, hand made articles that are more collector pieces than meant for real use. They are so well made though they could be used daily and the unique features are not seen anywhere else. But I can see your point. Thanks for watching!
Man you are one lucky 😝bastard, I tried for that bag, actually I’ve tried for a few of them but that one is the one I really wanted. Now after watching this the first review I’ve seen anywhere on this bag, I want it even more. Hopefully what you said about who ever snags one will never sell it is not true. you know I’ll be searching the classifieds. I want to use this to make my own camera bag for riding by making a wrap for some hard cases i have and mounting them kinda like how you have the step 22 in yours. I ride sport bikes and I have bags made for riding like velomacchi (my favorite) and kriega, got a couple Icon and Icon 1000 bags, USWE bounce pack, a Dainese ( love there riding gear, the bags are farmed out and not worth the money just over priced Ogio which are not good either IMO. And then there are camera bags you know the players I’m sure… There are no cross overs that I have found that are good anyway. I tried a $500 Bobilee hard pack because it looked like a beefy bad A$$ BEAST, and I just hated it, super uncomfortable, especially off the bike, and it looked more jet pack then any other bag ever, and with zero org. The last time I crashed (hit a deer) - ya no s#*t… i destroyed the bag ( Icon speed form ) and everything in it that could break did. If I had my cannon in there even my tenba it would have been killed. So now I’m on a mission… sorry every time I comment on one of your videos its always some super long deal. Next time short and sweet I promise. 🤥 … Great video, I already kinda plugged it over in CC…
