      I have to say one of the things I dislike is the thin stem. It's awesome that it is adjustable, but it really picks up the bumps on the road. I didn't think I wanted dual motor either, but I am never going back to single motor again after this and I am never going back to a cadence sensor. The torque sensor changed me. I don't even want to ride my Wired Freedom anymore.

    Nice Mr J.
    One thing you didn't talk about, or perhaps I missed, was the ride. You did mention the shock wasn't adjustable and a bit stiff, but while riding, I didn't hear anything about the ride. Yes, so much to cover and things can be missed.
    I'm curious as to the camera you use??? I have an idea.

    • @JUICERATINGS
      @JUICERATINGS  3 місяці тому +3

      I think the ride is hard to describe. I find it really smooth for pavement, more so than my Wired, but I really don't think it's an off road type bike. I would give the rear shock a 6 or 7 out of 1O. Moreover, I think it's an enjoyable ride...like I really look forward to riding it over my others. It feels super nimble and I guess the word cruiser gets thrown around alot for a style of bike...but this one is a great cruiser for actually cruising. As I mentioned near the end, I think I would prefer a stiffer or thicker stem. It's an Akaso...I don't have the GoPro yet.

    • @NOWitsOKto
      @NOWitsOKto 3 місяці тому

      @@JUICERATINGS Fair enough, I'm betting with a little research there is an adjustable shock for the rear.
      As for cameras, quite seriously, I'd go Insta360 x3. I know the x4 recently came out, but I've heard of an overheating issue, which GoPro has had issues with for years. I have an X3 and the great thing is you really don't have to “aim it” much as it records 360 degrees. The angles/views are all done in post with their app, in which you can do all kinds of crazy stuff. I'm certainly not a pro, but maybe research it a bit. The X4 being the newest might mean the X3 (which I have) may be at a good price, don't know though. Just a thought that may be worth a look.

    I own a Grizzly, a Wired Freedom, and just put a preorder deposit on this bike. I think, and hope this is the happy medium I've been looking for. Your thoughts?

    • @JUICERATINGS
      @JUICERATINGS  Місяць тому +1

      I think the Grizzly is great as is the Goat V3. Both powerful bikes and obviously the Wired Freedom and Ecells all have similar speeds (with probably the Goat on top), but all of those bikes lack in one category or another when compared to the Furious EMX. Number one the Goat and Grizzly and very motorbike-like and not made for pedaling. No raising and lowering the seat. The Ecells and Wired are large bikes and I find the 20x4 the sweet spot for me. Lastly, none of them have the EMX torque sensor. THIS torque sensor is everything and a huge differentiator. I don't ride my Freedom anymore because I am always on this EMX, it's just so comfortable and fun to ride. I'm going to sell my Freedom, but it hit me, I don't know what I would buy that would be better or similar to the EMX. For me it's the perfect bike. A solid 8 out of 10. There are two mods that you will want (Larger Chain Ring and eventually change the tires) Super tall people or people who want to off road or throttle only, they should choose a different bike. For everyone one else, I am finding it hard not to recommend this bike and Im up to 2800 miles. I did crack the rack which is being replaced, video coming soon. But it's just the rack. Bike is great and fine.

    • @JUICERATINGS
      @JUICERATINGS  Місяць тому

      I also dislike the thin stem as I feel the bumps in the bars and the speed is exact up to 32 mph and then gets off by 4 mph. Two minor drawbacks that takes away from it being a 10 out of 10. That, and I would love a bike that hits 42-44 mph, I top out at 37, but 99% that is fast enough. I almost never ride 37. I think there is always something on any bike to dislike. The things I dislike on this one are very minor (for me, could be major for others)

    • @sharkdog111
      @sharkdog111 Місяць тому

      @@JUICERATINGS Agree with everything you said. I'm also a motorcycle rider, if I want to throttle a bike, I'll get on my Harley. On an ebike, I WANT to peddle, I want to get some exercise. Glad to hear you think this is a great medium between the Grizzley and other moped style ebikes, and the Wired Freedom. That is exactly what I am looking for. At 5.9 the Wired Freedom is a little tall for me, it's fine once you get going, but at stops I'm not comfortable on the bike unless i drop the seat down, then my legs aren't getting good extention, so I might as well get back on the Grizzley because it's easier to manage.

    • @JUICERATINGS
      @JUICERATINGS  Місяць тому

      Yes I am 5'8". I don't find the Wired uncomfortable, but it's a different ride. Again, the EMX isn't perfect, but I don't think there is a bike on the market right now that matches it. I honestly don't know what I want my new second bike to be once I sell the Wired. Maybe the Juiced Jetcurrent Pro, but there is no rear suspension and not interested in folding. But it may be the closest to the EMX out there.

    Thinking about this one. What iif any are the advantages of having a dual motor bike?

    • @JUICERATINGS
      @JUICERATINGS  28 днів тому

      I thought the same thing. I also have a Wired Freedom and thought I didn't care about torque sensors either. Then I rode this bike. Basically, the dual motor just feels better, the power at acceleration is awesome and beats a rear hub bike, but the real advantage is it climbs hills like crazy. Once you factor in the torque sensor it's amazing. Just a fun bike, a great ride.

      @@dheller777 I think I am going to sell mine too. I don't ride it anymore with this EMX. I am also 5'8". But I want a second one and the only 20"4" that is close to this one is the Goat, but I don't like the moped-style and I like to pedal.

    • @dheller777
      @dheller777 28 днів тому +1

      @JUICERATINGS The Billy Goat V3 is in my short list also. I like the better top end speed in the 40s if I am driving with traffic. I do not like the moped style seat either. The police tend to pull more of them over in this area than a bike that looks more like a bike. The Billy Goat also has bettet front and reat turn signals, along with a much better headlight. That said, Furious is offering a second battery for $200, which came free with my Wired Freedom but cost a lot more on the Billy Goat. You can see why I am still trying to decide on which of these to purchase.

    • @JUICERATINGS
      @JUICERATINGS  28 днів тому +1

      Yeah I do. I really like this bike. I have no regrets. I did get a crack in the rear rack and they are sending me a new one, but everything else is just so nice. I really don't want a moped or a cadence sensor so this bike beats anything I would buy right now. Things change fast. I think Furious may be working on a faster bike, but I think it's a long ways off. In the meantime I hit 37 pretty easily and have ridden this over 2500 miles this summer. Even though mine has the external wire (the new ones don't) I do not regret buying one of his demo bikes at all. I never thought I'd get tired of the Freedom.
