    Well, I'd pick the Furious due to the power being more customizable.

    Just got my Wired Freedom 2024.2. My initial thoughts are: big.adjustment coming from 20” fat bikes and motorcycles - not news as all the reviewers have mentioned the size of the bike. Throttle is twitchy and lags, so if you’re in level 5 you’ve got to be ready for when that throttle kicks in. For that reason I kept shifting down to peddle assist 3 and only used 5 for hills or high speed roads. I set the start power to 3 which is the softest start and the throttle setting to match the pedal assist level. Riding full out in 100 degree heat and it did briefly shut down for about a minute after a steep hill. Motor temp hit about 298 degrees per display. Suspension feels nice, lots of travel - so much so that the rear rack hit my tailbone a couple of times. I’m 6’5” with long legs and sometimes sit at the very back of the seat. I’ll have to adjust seat height and suspension settings to see if this will be an issue for me. Overall though, lots of power, climbs hills like it’s nothing, and fun as heck.

From the research I have done, and my own experience, Wired E-bikes sometimes underestimate delivery dates. The difference between 20x4 and 26x4 is truly massive and comes down to rider size, personal preference and riding style. If you stay on well paved roads, the 20x4 is great, but the 26x4 is much more capable offroad, feels more stable at speed, and goes over obstacles that would swallow a 20x4 bike. The 20x4 is much more nimble, particularly at slower speeds. If you are coming from a smaller tire bike, you will be shocked at how comfortable and capable the 26x4 is, they go anywhere. Off course you have to be big enough to ride the big boy tires.

      minimum seat height is 31in. 5'1" would probably be okay, its tough to find fat tire ebikes for smaller folks. Magicycle Ocelot is very short bike though.

    It mite be worth considering that with both batteries being drawn from at the same time you're going to have more power and therefore a higher top speed.
    I rely want to see all this testing with the rear rack battery on the cruiser instead of without it.
    I'm sure the cruiser will be significantly more powerful/ fast with that second battery attached.

    Excellent video as always. If you would be so kind as to as to answer a question as only you could, I would appreciate it very much. Does the Fabulous Road Warrior and Fabulous EMX Ultimate peddal at roughly the same top speed? And if ridden exactly the same would the five extra amp hours on the EMX mean it would have a slightly longer range?

    • @CitizenCycle925
      @CitizenCycle925  2 місяці тому

      @adamvitek9501 I have not ridden the latest edition of The Road Warrior; however I would anticipate it having a higher top speed than the emx bike. The old version of The Road Warrior was definitely faster. larger Wheels equals higher top speed, and yes larger battery typically means longer range all other things being equal.

      The new Road Warrior Ultimate is arriving next month as well, we might as well send the new one with the dual suspension. I think what people overlook is that a 20" wheel diameter should go slower than a 26"....but the EMX holds its own, the question is what will the new 26" version do with the bigger wheel diameter? The fun is only beginning.

      assuming equal total power consumption and output (since acceleration seems to be similar in spite of difference in wheel diameters), I would think two motors would run cooler both due to lower draw and more surface area to dissipate heat.
