How do you not have more followers!? Your videos are amazing! I checked out your how to video of developing films and it really helped me out!!! Thank you!
@@film_friends Did you get the OM to work? In fact they are very sensible to the batteries. I got an OM-2 and an OM-4. Sadly my OM-4 is striking, it doesn't want to put the mirror down, nor to fire. I need to get it to a specialist to repair it.
Oh wow they are all so beautiful 😍 I love that fujica but also the ae1 but I really just love them all because I would take any film cameras I could get😂
@@garrettdunn1161 For sure man! got a few videos im editing up tonight and will be doing a few larger topic videos soon. I did a pretty lengthy in depth overview of developing, and my scanning video will be coming out soon.
The Olympus OM-1 are a great Camera, BUT the fast shutter times 1/250 1/500 and 1/1000 can be a little too slow, so you get light overexposed images. Get a OM-2 or OM-2 Spot.
First, the Canon TL DOES take a battery. Its cover was on the top side when you tried to open the back cover. And PLEASE: the word 'manual' you misconstrue. As applies to SLRs and other cameras, 'manual' means ONLY that one can set one's shutter speed and aperture. This attribute can apply BOTH to cameras with clockwork shutters (FT) and with electronic shutters (AE-1). When you are referring to a shutter mechanism which is clockwork (i.e. springs) please refer to it as having a MECHANICAL shutter. I will trade you my camera knowledge any day for your expertise with putting together, editing, and lighting a youtube presentation. Excellent, but a bit naïve with cameras. - David Lyga (age 71)
Hey I appreciate you knowledge! Thanks for sharing it with the crew who watch this! Love these old cameras and it’s awesome to hear from the folk that used them!
Vlogging setups are much cheaper these days. You can get a used GoPro 4 black or any old GoPro newer that 3 for like 1-200 and the wide angle works well for vlog. Then for sound I use a little audio recorder. I can get one for $100. Cheap vlogging for -200-300. If you end up getting a new phone you got it! If you plan on staying still you can get a canon rebel t3i for nothing
Sorry I don’t have that for ya just keep subscribing and watching out for giveaways. I do film camera giveaway though. I don’t have digitals yet to give away.
What is your favorite cam from the haul?
Haha yeah it does! I can’t wait to use it
The Fujica ST605N! That was my first SLR camera, bought it new many years ago. Mine was stolen from my car. Loved it.

That's a great haul! Hope you can get that Om-1 working, I use one a LOT and it is an amazing camera and has some lovely lenses for it.
Gosh I hope I can. It’s gotta be something easy. Why would you think the shutter wouldn’t be firing? Does it need a battery?

Love you from india 😍 😍 ❤
Glad to have you here !
Crazy how years ago these film cameras are basically worthless, thrown away, destroyed but now they command significant amounts and demand.
Yeah!! There is a turning point the past few years to feel the old analog again. Tangible. Yummmy grain
Man you guys get cameras soooo cheap in the USA....
Only when people don’t know what they have. The online prices are high
