I haven't try any big brands. I just jump right in for little guys 🙂 I'm happy with what I'm getting. My most expensive pair is Soundcore Life P3. I'm as excited as you for Soundpeats Opera 05. This video is a good summary of current little guys 🙂 earbuds. The little guys still hold alot of punch.
Thank you for making this video. My sentiments echo yours 100%. More times than not, I can tell my friends about soundcore earbuds or the soundpeats lineup and they give me weird looks because it’s not a common brand. Keep doing what you do letting people know that there are alternatives to “name-brands” ☮️

I definitely agree that lesser-known companies have some great, inexpensive buds to offer. In fact, my first Tozos were the Crystal Buds because I watched your video.
Although I am done with Soundpeats. I went through two sets of H1's (First set from Indiegogo, the second were a replacement set since the first set malfunctioned), and they both died.
I also regret getting the XM4's because the sound to me seems quite anemic.
My H1 right earbud died after three weeks only. They refuse to refund me or send a new one. Never will buy Soundpeats again
I love earbuds but I would never spend more than $150. My most expensive buds were the L3P for $130 back in Oct '21 during the early bird special. Soundcore, Edifier, and 1more are my go-to for medium premium products.

I get what you mean. Smaller brands have really been stepping up their game in the earbud market. (Especially sound peats and soundcore.)
Nice vid 👍 Some good points - some of those smaller brands are using identical components to the bigger ones - Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2 for example using the BES chipset, same as 1More, Edifier and Oppo. I run all the buds I test through the IEC coupler and the quality control is as inconsistent on the household names as the budget brands, too.
I'm always looking in people's ears in London, it's a habit 🙈 I've seen Sony buds maybe once or twice, Samsung occasionally, Bose seems to be the housewives choice..... Otherwise it's all Apple. Think I'm gonna interview the first person I see wearing Soundpeats or Soundcore!

I agree with this however beware. The less expensive buds you buy sometimes have a poorer build quality. I’ve learned from experience and some do not last.
Kudos to Earfun for listening to small time reviewers and acting fast. Been using the Earfun Free 2s for a couple of months now and really enjoying it. The is quite a few thing I like about it but my favourite part is the IP7. Now I can take it to showers all the time without worry.
You are soooo correct Keith, there are so many earbuds out there to choose from but the little guys are making really good products. Me & hubby have so many earbuds because they keep getting better and better! I'm really enjoying the new Earfuns, man the bass on them are wonderful, but they still can't beat those Tronsmart Apollo's! Also I'm really loving your new content, because u seem more relaxed and comfortable with us ☺, thanks again dude ✌.

I actually have never bought a big name brand set of earbuds because I just couldn't see the value in it.
I remember how excited I was when I first saw several Soundcore earbuds and products at my local (Canadian) Walmart! So good to see a brand that actually gives you great value show up at a retailer giant like that🙂
Soundcore,Soundpeats and Earfun, among others, offer terrific value but also great quality for the many who have limited budgets. I hope they continue to become more widely known in this market. They all deserve it!

These are ALL solid wireless earbuds. The Status Between Pros are really good for sound quality and the brand new Between Pros ANC3 are REALLY good. Well worth $200 retail
I remember when you were gushing over the Sabbat e12 and I bought them and immediately subscribed to your channel afterwards. While I do daily drive the Sony linkbuds s now those were some amazing sounding earbuds for the price.
Just got the Soundpeats Opera 5 today from ebay. They sound really good but not as good as the Vivo TWS 3. I'm surprised by this because both are under $100, both have 12mm drivers but the Opera has 2 BA drivers and theVivo still sounds better
It’s all right and true - but while my AirPods last 2 to 3 years and are amazing and comfortable. I’ve tried so many small brands and usually they don’t last me past a few months.
From various reasons, I always go back to the big brands, mostly for usability and lifespan.
Consider having an iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV, would you like to open an app 20 times a day to switch the connection?
I’ve had sennheiser momentum tws3 and while they sound wonderful and are very comfortable - the switching with the app broke me after 1 month.
And I know it’s also a big brand - but the usability is similar in they good cases - worse in others.
Luckily this pair at least had multipoint connection and still I returned it.

I've had 7-8 pairs of Jlab Epic air anc earbuds. Finally got a single pair that actually WORK. and boy when they work they've got ANC and Ambient mode that plays waaay above their price point. and currently I own the Earfun Air Pro 3's. Decent ANC- weak ambient mode. I've owned 4-5 soundcore buds and never was impressed with ANC nor ambient mode. Keith? You always have excellent reviews.
The Status Audio Between 3ANC are now available and they sound even better now that you can customize the sound in the app. They are absolutely incredible!!! There was another reviewer that said the fit was terrible for him with the Opera 5. Looking at the design, I believe it.
New Subscriber!. I enjoyed the videos I have seen from your channel. I did get the EarFun Air Pro 3 for $49.99 and I'm so please with them. I ran into troubles with the fit of my left ear bud.However, I was resolved and deliver good quality of sound and the ANC is ok. For the price are a killing deal. Keep the good work.
I've had 2 different Soundpeats earbuds die within 3 months of purchase. And my Lypertek also started acting up at less than a year old. No thanks, I'll go back to the big boys like Samsung and Sony earbuds. Even my "old" Jabra 65t still works flawlessly (though battery life has shortened naturally). You really do get what you pay for.
The edifier twn240 are one of the greatest earbuds I’ve used , audio quality in terms of music and gaming sound amazing , I love the fact the ambient sound can be used with a single earbud , gaming mode is also great I use it on steam deck and my switch and I have no issues , comfort also is very great!
Excellent video as always, I bought the Donners because I saw them in your review and it was an excellent purchase. Now I think I'm going to buy the EarFun Air Pro 3. None of the big companies have been able to make any buds for truck drivers sound core has the life u 2 but they don’t last because I keep pulling the cord with time they mess up

I use to work at best buy many many years ago, we use to get a 50% off discount on headphones. So if they can give employees that much of a discount it's crazy to think the mark up is.
While I love my Sennheisser earphones for their sound, for the money my EarFun Air S sound great and offer multipoint connectivity. They are always in my pocket and my go to headphones when I am not sat at my desk. Their app gets better with each update and should I lose them, I won’t be broken up about it. All around these are good value and a great recommendation I saw here on this channel.
I totally agree with you on a lot of these brands but there is some quirkiness with some. The form factor with the Operas they are huge if they could get those driver's into the H2 stems ☺️ just my opinion. Thank you for all you do it's always appreciated. 👍🇺🇸

Just got the bose qc 2 and they're good! I came from some others that have never been able to stay on my ear plus noise canceling was pretty bad. If I can return these and save money what are some good options but need to have good comfort and be able to stay in. I sweat a lot around the ears and that's usually the biggest issue for me
Currently waiting for the soundcore sleep buds A10 to arrive and I am super excited. I have a bunch of buds from jabra to lg to beats and Samsung, but these have me waiting for them.
I have Liberty 2pro, Liberty 3pros had Bose QC 1 too big,hurt ears, got had Apple air pods 1st gen returned cause inferior sound to soundcore,nowApple air pods pro 2nd gen, Apple stepped up!’sound better than all soundcore imo sound clearer sound is more balanced, loud and clean! Yes need a custom EQ , just my opinion, sound is subjective

honestly I have to admit until this video I have never heard of "Status" before lol .... there are alot of cheap quality no-name buds but also for almost the same budget price ... REALLY good value budget buds ... I just got another model from one of my favorite budget brands... the TOZO T9's to be specific and I think they sound great. I was expecting them to sound as good as another favorite model the T6's ... but for all those reviews saying the T9's sound better then the T6's (which i still love) .... yeah i agree with that. I was NOT expecting them to sound as wide as they do .. for a budget pair of buds, they have an "airy" sound if you ask me. I am still "testing" them I admit.
Earfun, Soundpeats, and oither brands make decent budget buds too

Still using the Flybuds c1 daily. Didn't upgrade to the Pros because your review mentioned that the OG's have more volume.
Good review. I agree some of the smaller, or not as well marketed earbuds have great sound for a lot less, it’s worth checking them out. I have BOSE QuietComfort and Apple Pros, depending on my situation my preference will shift. But then I got a pair of Soundcore X10 earbuds, hoping they would work better in windy conditions, my Apple Pros are the best for that. I’m talking about wind that blows over or through the earbuds. Of the three I have, they rank Apple Pros are the best, it’s not great but it’s better. The Soundcore X10s a distant second, but BOSE QuietComforts are horrible in windy conditions. For $80 they easily compare with BOSE for sound. The noise cancellation in the Soundcore is meh. It good but not great, but for listening to music in side or in a low noise environment there pretty good. Of the earbuds you have here, which would you recommend for use in windy conditions?
I'm an iPhone user, and I was considering buying the 2nd gen Airpods Pro's, but then I thought: $250 for a pair of buds that can’t really be repaired or serviced and I would have to throw them out if their battery dies or severely degrades? Which will happen on year 2 most likely. And that’s if they don’t break or I don’t lose them which is very easy to do when you are in crowded areas like metro.
Nah. I better spend half of Pro 2’s price on Liberty 4 and then another half on another pair of headphones for my PC for example.

Fantastic video that's a testament to technology beginning to level the field! Any earbud I try, put it up against the Liberty 3 Pro, and realize why Soundcore is still my favorite.
Liberty 3 pro and liberty 4 have a problem where the highs get way to pitchy and it’s not pleasant to listen to. If you are not an old deaf man who served in the Vietnam war… YOU WILL NOTICE IT

Great Video and so true. The only thing I would say, if the big brands come out with a cheaper product with all the features, then they are hard to beat. I have a lot of earbuds (thanks to you and El Jefe, lol) and I can say , for the price, when they are on sale, the galaxy buds 2 with the spinfit eartips are very hard to beat. Virtually perfect buds...Thanks again for a great video. Love your work so much.

Just started watching some of your videos. I work in a machine shop. And would like the best bang for my buck on Anc and comfort / battery life with anc on. So your videos have been pretty helpful. Single dad, so not wanting to spend the money on the Sony 1000's / bose. Probably going to order something in a day or two. If you do have a solid recommendation single pick on around 100 $ give or take please reply ! Thank you

Good video may have to try the opera 5 I like a great sounding bud even though they are pretty Large. Have you tried the new Tozo golden x1 (i believe that's the name)?
I had the Sony linkbuds s (they broke 😞), and they were almost pretty great for me. I liked the low profile to sleep on, and the transparency and noise cancelling modes were good. I wish the battery life in the buds were longer though, and transparency mode is not perfect.
I've had ridiculously bad luck with Sony's their Bluetooth stuff breaks within 4 months. Awful quality control and durability.
I agree too because I usually buy a premium pair of earbuds but I can never understand why the don't last more than 1 year

I'm currently looking for a pair of multi-point capable earbuds and have narrowed it down to the Earfun Air 3 Pro and the Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro. Is the L3P's higher price justified over the Earfun? If price wasn't a factor, which of these 2 is better?

It will be nice if you could really compare them aspect by aspect, to see just how good your "recommended" with the top branded. example: in 3:45 you said that Liberty 3 Pro is good at noise cancelling. In this case, try to give noise cancelling result by sony wf 1000 xm4 or any other, compared them with the noise cancelling result of liberty 3 pro.
reason for not buying these "uknown" brand is also credibility, no one wants to waste 150$ for something they are not sure of. However, if you buy the sony wf 1000xm4: yes they charge you higher prices BUT you are guaranteed to get the best noise cancelling earbuds out there.
I love SkullCandy's products but what i mostly look for in these airpods is them to be for any ear and to have good sound & battery life..I always used LG headset, ik theyre old but they're REALLY GREAT, and can connect to 2 apple devices..i don't like those which have a censor tapping multifunctional button..
Question, hopefully you can answer this for me, I buy earbuds for talking, I'm a driver and I talk a lot and I have been using earbuds but I'm having a hard time finding a good brand that has a good mic for talking, I bought 4 already and my voice on all of them sound muffled or when connected to my iphone 12 pro max my voice don't sound clear. Any good one that you can recommen?

Hey, which pair would you recommend between earfun air pro 3 and edifier w240? 3 of the most important thing for me would be battery life, good bass and anc. Also being able to use just earbud at a time is necessary but I assume both have that feature.
Yes, both have that feature. Based off what you are looking for I would say the EarFun are the way to go. Both have great bass but the Earfun has the better ANC and battery life w/ ANC

the very first thing that I check on earbuds is whether or not they're in-ear type. If the are, I don't even want to know how they sound, or how good they are. I skip them right away.

I see no point spending hundreds of dollars on one pair of perishable earbuds. Don't care what brand, that battery is gonna deteriorate - period. And I've seen just as many technical complaints about big box brands as small ones.
Collected a dozen or so at various prices since 2021, various brands. All of them are still working just fine in the daily rotation.

W240TN is no where as good as thoes UA-camrs hype it up to be! It severely lacks in clear highs and doesn't even have a function to be manually turned on and off
