    If you're a person that grabs the stem to adjust fit, you can change the squeeze sensitivity for the controls in the Soundcore app. By default it is set at the most senstive.

    Superbly honest review. I use the Liberty 3 Prio and just bought the Life P3 a couple weeks back. Must say I am completely satisfied with these 2 for sound quality, App Features and ANC. I suspect the Liberty 4 are a prequel model to the forthcoming Liberty 4 Pro. I understand the expansive lineup to meet all budget needs but feel they could put more focus on setting each set apart for a specified purpose. Thx again and keep these reviews coming forth!!

      I've been using Life P3 last few month, good headphones, but honestly the call quality is not very good, the ANC as well.

    Good review. I just got the liberty 4 because I lost my l3p charging case. Overall I prefer the l4. L3p has more/better bass but i find the l4 has clearer and more upfront mids. Imagining and sound stage are pretty equal between the two. The reason I prefer the l4 is the fit is much better, better battery life, better controls and doesn't cut out for me.

    Nice review. I appreciate your honesty with it too. When a brand pumps out as many models as Soundcore does, there are bound to be a few that don't hit the mark.
    That being said, I recently bought the Soundcore Life A3i's, which they really didn't market at all. I got them for $50 in Canada, and l love them! Great sound quality and decent NC and vocal transparency. At less than a third of the price of these, a no brainer! Thanks again for the review 🙂

    Brand new sub here and I'll tell you why. It seems to me there are far too many reviewers that are afraid to speak the truth about products out of fear they may not be given more products from the manufacturer. Not you. This is the cold hard truth that I was looking for and I'm going to pass on these because what you say makes sense. I'll be more than happy to stick with my Liberty Air 2 Pro's and my Liberty 3 Pro's for music and my Space A40's for UA-cam and the like. The problem I continuously keep having with my liberty 3 Pros is that they keep cutting out when in LDAC which is as expected, but it was too much. I literally do everything with them expect workout in them, so please any opinions as what I should please let me know because I feel I have exhausted every solution. Should I get my money back and save up to get a top tier earbuds and also I'm not a Apple Person. I am also looking for workout earbuds that have solid and efficient ANC and Transparency mode, wireless charging and multipoint connection and of course has a very soild IP rating. I really love the liberty 3 Pro and I dont want to return them or maybe be I should get them replaced. Please let me know your suggestions and opinions and recommendations, I'd greatly appreciate it. I almost forgot I have Sennheiser true sports wireless earbuds but unfortunately the only issues I have them is that they don't have ANC and Transparency mode.

    Thanks Aaron. I'm really confused based on all the reviews here and online about the new Soundcore lineup.
    Some say the Space headsets and L4 are flatter, more balanced, some say the old Soundcore thump is still there.
    If this just means the default 'Soundcore Signature' EQ is different, fine. But if that sub bass thump is gone entirely, I'm out.
    I have Life P3, Liberty 3 Pro and Q35. Happy with all if them and they all THUMP 😁

    Great review - I'm sure these are terrific buds however they didnt really work out well for me at all. Aside from the ANC being almost non existent on any of the app settings, a simple tilt of the head sends these things flying. They simply dont fit well enough to stay in place no matter what you do. I returned them and bought J Labs instead :)

    Hi 👋🏽
    Do you know if Soundcore plans to integrate the Google Fast pair and the LC3 into its earbuds?
    Because with the Google Fast pair, there is now the possibility of automatic switching between different Android and Windows devices much like the Airpods Pro on iOS and Mac-OS, I think it's as interesting if not more interesting than the standard multipoint depending on the circumstance.
    Ps: Soundcore should have put the slide gesture to manage the volume, and sincerely, I think that the ADAPTIVE APTX is for the moment the best codec on Android and Windows, the latency on the earbuds with LDAC and AAC is really noticeable without gaming mode.

      @@gearupaaron overall, sound quality, ANC, battery, and comfort. Since IMO I feel that the Liberty 4’s are still in “beta” mode while the Liberty Air 2 Pro are already consolidated (in terms of firmware fixes)
      Size is the last but not least important fact, to me. But if you tell me that in your personal opinion, the consolidated Liberty Air 2 Pro’s are a better choice, I would have no worries in ordering it, even with the not so desirable “long format”, compared to the smaller new Liberty 4. Also, did Soundcore actually said that the Liberty 4 is a replacement for the 2 Pro’s, or some months from now they will announce a Liberty 4 Pro edition?

    • @gearupaaron
      @gearupaaron  2 роки тому +1

      The 4 Pro is definitely coming. If you're looking at the overall, the L4 is better. SQ I prefer either the L2P or L3P, the controls, and the price too. Everything else, the L4. I think Soundcore spread themselves too thin with this latest model.

      @hrmzk 2 роки тому

      @@gearupaaron thank you so much for the comprehensive reply. In this case, I have no problem in just waiting some more and see how the L4 Pro will be. Because, as much as I like Anker Soundcore products (currently I have 9, ranging from earbuds to headphones and speakers), I would be VERY pissed in knowing that a Pro version is being launched not long after spending on the L4. So I’ll just wait some more and see how the L4 Pro will play out (no pun intended). Also, you just got a subscriber! Have a great weekend!

      @@gearupaaron by the way, I agree with you, I like Soundcore brand a lot, but sometimes I feel that they are making way too many options, which is not bad, per say. Instead of making too many options and not perfecting deeply into each one. But that’s just my 2 cents.

      @@dozieeze it’s insanely better. Soundpeats I was using them near max volume which was a bit ear piercing but the only way to get a somewhat “full” sound. My Apple health said I was on average doing 300% the recommended volume. The Soundcore have a much fuller, thumpier sound, and with the noise canceling I’m running them at around 50% my recommended max volume and music still sounds plenty detailed. No reason to go above three quarters volume.
      Sound aside, I do have my qualms with the Soundcore. All the fancy features make them a bit less reliable. They can be a little funky to connect, they’ll make a little blurping notification sound for absolutely no reason, and the lack of wingtips makes them a little less secure and comfortable, my ears have gotten a little sore from wearing them, and I feel like I have my earwax than normal.

    I hate to diagree but the eartips are truly terrible! While I get a seal using two different tip sizes as soon as my jaw moves, it's unsealed and if you do not shove them back in I'm catching one midair! Why does this have heart monitoring? My smartwatch does that and way better! Then the battery lasts 1/2 the time with only 4-hours running time on the right earbud. Amazon has a double flange positive fit tip but then the earbuds no longer fit in the charging case. This is completely unacceptable. My rating: Sound is awesome even for audio purists like myself. You can turn off all that horrific Spatial Audio stuff. Hearing ID compensates for hearing loss at specific frequencies and produces a gorgeous sound. Spatial imaging is spectacular and I believe is better than enclosed ear over the head headphones, but the constant tweeking of the headset to maintain a seal ruins everything! Also the buttons get bumped every single time I have to adjust the things...SUPER ANNOYING! Consequently my over-the-ear enclosed headphones are still seeing lots of use, especially on the tablet whose Bluetooth is vastly superior in quality to any phone.
